TotallyOz Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 Last night in Sunee I was talking to a boy outside of Erich's new restaurant and all of the sudden a motorcycle starts up about 10 feet from me and starts high speed in full throttle and runs right into me and the boy and then into the motorcycles behind us. Both the boy and I were fine and not hurt as we were able to move back quickly as we heard it coming at us. My hand is still a bit bruised and my foot is sore but other than that, no serious injury. The guy driving may have been drunk but I was told he had an automatic and when he went to start, it locked into high gear and took off fast. The BF said that the same thing happened to him before. When walking anywhere, be careful and listen to the sounds around you. You never know when a flying motorcycle is on the way. Quote

Guest Oogleman Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 I saw an accident involving a motocy almost every day during my recent 3 month trip. I keep well away from the roadside where possible. Glad you are ok. Quote
Guest Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Goodness! Flying motorcycles, flying farangs - what next, I wonder? I wish I had been flying. Always wanted to try that but alas I just moved back fast and only got clipped. It was lucky we saw and heard him coming. Jomptien, I knew you were in the area as the boys outside the bar told me you were in and they were all doing the signs for rock, paper, scissors and I knew I needed to head home early and not get tipsy again.
