Monkey see, monkey doo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&list=RDoAQubtm-IPg&v=oAQubtm-IPg Hilarious! Most grateful. I hesitate to ask how you found such a thing. (The people on the soundtrack voicing their disgust & surprise obviously never had a puppy. )
December 9, 201510 yr Active Members I hesitate to ask how you found such a thing. Comedy Central's Tosh 1.0. And before you mock me, no, I'm not a big fan of Tosh but when you're channel surfing and suddenly you're looking at a gorilla pull a large turd out its own asshole...well, what are you gonna do but stop and check it out?

Understood. Confession: I had seen on the Internet a clip of the first few seconds of that, but without sound and without the gustatory delights.
December 24, 201510 yr Active Members From the classical Greek poet Eubulus: Next, Thebes I came to, where they dine all night And day as well, and every house in sight Boasts its own privy---to full man a boon As great as any known beneath the moon. Merry Xmas, AdamSmith. And remember, Eubulus not-with-standing, all things in moderation.
December 24, 201510 yr Author And remember, Eubulus not-with-standing, all things in moderation. Abundant thanks and season's best in return. As for moderation, though -- I need one privy per person, not per household. Plus one for guests.

December 25, 201510 yr Author Ho ho ho.... Like anybody here is buying... That the Smith clan has indoor plumbing. LMAO You got to stop outing me. We had some old friends on a farm and the wife finally made him put in an indoor bathroom around 1970. But even in the dead of winter the old man still used the outhouse. Thought it was plumb nasty to go inside the house.

March 14, 201610 yr Author I broke wind at the sauna one day, With some guys who were all gay-for-pay. It began as melodious, Then quickly turned odious And drove the garotos away. ROFL The word odious seems to be having a run lately. Struggling to recall where else I saw it used just yesterday. Meanwhile, a not-quite-relevant-but-why-not Clerihew... Sir Humphrey Davy Detested gravy. He lived with the odium Of having discovered sodium.
March 14, 201610 yr Active Members The word odious seems to be having a run lately. Struggling to recall where else I saw it used just yesterday. Here, unless I miss my guess. The word indeed trails a body. Also in the why-not department: AdamSmith With wit and pith Lays bare the art Of filtering a fart.
March 14, 201610 yr ROFL The word odious seems to be having a run lately. Struggling to recall where else I saw it used just yesterday. . The current use of the word ODIOUS is being used to describe Donald Trump.
March 14, 201610 yr Author P.S. I was reading a compendium of Clerihews today (newish ones) and noticed a lack of one of their two key attributes: Besides rhyming the name of a famous person with some nonsense, they seem funniest when they also have the imbalance of two very short lines and two ungainly long ones. As: Sir Christopher Wren Said, 'I am going to dine with some men. If anyone calls, Say I'm designing Saint Paul's.' Of course sufficiently nonsensical content can render the line-length imbalance less critical to the thing's success. As in my favorite of them all, on account of making no sense whatever: Edward the Confessor Slept under the dresser. When that began to pall He slept in the hall.
