Guest gcursor Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 My grandma used to say some of the most interesting sayings to me. Let's hear some of the interesting things your Grandma said. One of the things my grandma used to say was, "Don't forget..wherever you go, that's where you'll be." and I've never forgotten that. she also used to talk sometimes about "boxing my ears"...recently I mentioned that to somebody else and they laughed at me and wanted to know what I was gonna do..hang boxes on their ears? gcursor Quote
Guest epigonos Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 My grandmother who came to the U.S. from Slovenia (she always said Austria) in 1910 at the age of 35 never really got the hang of English. When she was exasperated beyond belief, with one of us, she would roll her eyes and exclaim, “Oh my, my, my, my”. Quote

What thing I remember is whenever I said I'm tired then she would tell me that that's because I played all day. My grandma used to say some of the most interesting sayings to me.
