Guest hitoallusa Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Is it true that Corbin Fisher and Sean cody's vids have some kind of beaconing codes that automatically signal there location if it is uploaded on a website? I found something interesting on the net and thought that might be the case but not sure. Well people are so creative these days. I just wonder if anybody heard or observed the same thing. Quote
BiBottomBoy Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 My understanding is that the Beacon Codes embedded in videos can not track a video to a given P2P or torrent site. What they are designed to do is that once the video is uploaded to one of those sites, it has a unique signature, so that the company can figure out who uploaded it. It's a way to scare uploaders, not downloaders. Quote
