February 4, 200917 yr I am looking for a escort to travel with me to Panama. I usually book one or two places and then rent a suv and drive all over and find local lodging. There's quite a few nice off the beaten path places. Typically I spend anywhere from 2weeks - 4weeks in the country. Highlights include going up to the coffee country, over to the Pacific side to surf camp, scuba diving/snorkeling on the pacific and atlantic side, I've rented scooters for a day or two to cruise around the city, see the canal if you've never seen it and visiting a few islands. We would probably stop over at my mom place and see how its going there. The national currency is the dollar, Panamanias are very friendly, many also speak some english, the weather tends to be some what even. Though be aware of the sun, you get more uv being near the equator. Pluses are: you speak spanish, have your dive license, don't mind traveling around a country 'winging it' I would pick up all travel costs and any incidentals. IF interested I would be going this Spring. My dates are flexible.
