BiBottomBoy Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 I just figured I'd pass along a tip for any dudes traveling to Europe. Condom sizes are different here. A standard sized condom is somewhat smaller than the US equivalent. Therefore you might want to buy both normal and large sized condoms and experiment in your room to see which works for you. I've had guys come over who could wear a normal sized condom in the States just fine, who broke the condom putting it on here and had to go for the bigger size - something that you wouldn't want to happen in the middle of being with a random hookup of unknown status. And, if you need to wear big sized condoms in the US, bring them with you to Europe because you'll never find any that will fit you. Quote

Guest Anton Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Well, for all those who end up in Amsterdam, there's a shop over here where the only thing they sell is condoms. http://www.condomerie.com/condoms/content.php I also noticed an interesting page regarding sizes on their website : http://www.condomerie.com/webshop/casindex_uitleg.php?language=en Enjoy! Guest hard4him Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Sorry, but I just noticed this. As an avid condom advocate, I was surprised that European men needed smaller condoms. No wonder they like the visiting Brazilians so much. I know I do. Quote

Having had the experience recently of trying to SQUEEZE into a tailored European suit (because it was what everyone for the occassion had to have)... maybe European men just like everything cut slimmer so they have to wiggle into something really tight! Or the corollary... maybe we "healthy (lol)" Americans need looser fitting cuts! haha Quote
BiBottomBoy Posted November 16, 2010 Author Posted November 16, 2010 Euro men are just smaller than American men overall. Quote

Members Thomas_88 Posted April 5 Members Posted April 5 Earlier this year, Durex (a large condom brand in Europe) launched "Durex intensity condoms". The medium Durex intensity condoms are 56 mm wide (2.2 inch). The XL Durex intensity condoms are 61 mm (2.4 inch) wide, I know this is an old topic but I didn't want to start a new topic. Here is a comparison between Trojan Magnum XL condoms and some Durex condoms: 2.2 inch width for the Durex intensity medium condoms; 2.3 inch width for the Trojan Magnum XL condoms; 2.36 inch width for the Durex Originals Nude XL condoms; 2.36 inch width for the Durex Thin Feel XL condoms; 2.36 inch width for the Durex Originals XXL condoms; 2.4 2.2 inch width for the Durex intensity XL condoms. Members Thomas_88 Posted April 12 Members Posted April 12 Yesterday I tried the (new) Durex intensity XL condoms. The condoms seem very strong, in my opinion they're ideal for rough &/or long anal sex. These condoms are made by: innoLatex Thailand Limited E1-6 Export Processing Zone, Southern industrial estate, Village 4, Chalung Sub-district, Hat Yai District, Songkhia 90110. When I looked up this address on the Ggle street view in the pic there's a building with the Karex logo. Karex also makes (some) condoms for Trojan. Mavica 1 Quote

I was told by a friend that they are a little tight - and he tells me he is of average width 😉 Quote

If your friend is used to for example the Durex medium condoms 56 mm (2.20 inch) the Sagami Original 0.01 medium condom is about 55 mm (2.17 inch) could be tight for him. One mm doesn't seem much but in my experience it could be the difference between tight and comfortable. PeterRS 1 Quote
