Hero or Farose, that's comparing apples with bananas. I don't think Hero is a must, but there are many who swear by that place (I went only once, and just for drink and a look). But if you are into muscular boys and luxury (read: expensive), you will like it. Hero is a massage place where you pay for massage (and maybe more), Farose is a sauna. Curfew 10 pm means you should be back in your room at that time, public transport stops earlier and taxis might not be available or overcharge you. Which is the best? You will get different answers depending whom you ask.You should specify what you are looking for. Gogo bar = prostitution, gay club = dancing and drinking, a significant difference.

The most common service charge is 10%. Only once did I encounter 7.5 %, that was in self-service (!!!) food court in Union Mall or Central Ladprao. Unless there is a good reason to eat there, I avoid places that add service charge and/or VAT to the prices displayed in the menu.
