  1. Yeah timing out issues here too
  2. Would have been nice if he did Kamala beach as well, it is good to see life has returned to Phuket, I did quite a few trips there when I started travelling to Thailand.

    Vietnam

Interested in Vietnam myself, have been numerous times (a long time ago) and loved it there, no doubt it's changed a fair bit since then. I wasn't into the guys back then but would love to hook up with some Viet guys when I go again in a year or two, I've only been with the one Viet guy and that was in Bangkok Massage (when it was on soi Twilight) and he was rather cute and as it turned out a very good bottom. There is a rumour of a direct flight from Perth to Ho Chi Minh city starting up later this year and a I do remember reading recently their minister of tourism wanted to expand the list of countries eligible for visa exemptions and wanted to include Australia on the list.
  4. Ahh but it sure sounds like he may well have had problems with someone
  5. About the only times I catch a taxi now is to and from the airport, over time I've had a few of those that quoted a fare rather than turn on the meter and I got out every time it happened. Majority of places I go to in Bangkok now there is either an MRT or BTS station nearby and that is my preferred transport, or was before covid times.
  6. A very nice trip report and looking forward to more of your adventures, thanks for sharing
  7. I knew it wouldn't last long before he changed his undies again😂 From the Bangkok Post Govt U-turns on Covid vaccination rule for visitors The government on Monday rescinded a policy announced at the weekend requiring visitors to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination, Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said, citing sufficient immunisation levels. He changed his undies again
  8. Well that's a no bet and a no brainer, they change their rules as often as they change their underwear.
  9. I wouldn't be too bothered with testing or insurance (I always travel with insurance anyway) but if they brought back quarantine or that stupid bloody Thai pass shit I for one will travel elswhere, Philippines or Vietnam would be the choices.
  10. I am planning a trip to the Philippines within the next 18 months or there abouts, the plan is heading north up through Baguio and on to Vigan etc. I am hoping for some action but thinking my best bet would be Baguio although it seems there's not too much of a gay scene up there so I may have to rely on Romeo. It's been many years since I was up that way and looking online there appears to be many changes, in particular the population there seems to have grown quite a lot.
  11. My new years was the same old routine, a good movie a bottle of red wine then sleep. I gave up staying up all night just to see the new year in a long time ago, maybe if I was in Thailand, Philippines or Vietnam I would do something different. The last time I did stay up to celebrate a new year I was in Bangkok and that celebration was two of us screwing the night away😜
  12. Yes, the board is unusable for me as I'm getting it repeatedly
  13. I shall most likely be sleeping when the year ticks over, just another day really
  14. About my main gay lifestyle goal for 2023 is a birthday gangbang by some hot massage guys in Bangkok
  15. There was something on the Philippine news on tv here this morning that said the Philippines was looking at 7 days isolation for visitors coming in from China, I will be looking for that one in the Philippine online media to see if it's going to happen.
  16. Yes Hero was very good, another favourite of mine was Adonis, so many of the guys there were very well endowed and could f*ck like true champions
  17. Just my 2 cents worth, right or wrong. There are countries that are very keen on getting the Chinese tourist back ($$), Thailand and Philippines would be two and even the Australian tourism industry want them back in droves but I wonder if they truly understand what would or could happen if plane loads of infected Chinese start landing? My pessimistic crystal ball is showing possible government panic if the numbers in those countries start sharply rising by the incoming infected that the possibility of the Thai Pass or Philippine One Health Pass gets reintroduced or even the dreaded quarantine. I know many have had enough of corona and just want to get on with life (me included) but a bit of foresight is required, I for one won't bother traveling if those bloody passes are reintroduced. I'm planning mid next year and intend to get there and have a bloody good time but will be watching to see how it all pans out.
  18. Amazing images, most of those would make great wallpapers on phones or tablets.
  19. Yes sadly Thaniya Fitness has closed, a victim of the pandemic, it was a good gym with a very good salt water pool.
  20. I love the full length mirrors and also watching the guys doing their thing (on top or doggie style😁)
  21. Singapore airlines also sent some aircraft to the very dry Alice Springs (Australia) plane storage facilities during the covid down period. Something that annoys me is the Thai Airways Perth to Bangkok and Brisbane to Bangkok services have been cancelled and yet at the same time they introduced an extra daily service from Melbourne to Bangkok making that 2 flights daily out of Melbourne. My thoughts are that they needed the extra aircraft and crew for the added Melbourne flights so closed down the other two routes and they won't say (or refuse to say) when or even if they will restart Perth and Brisbane. From an insider I know at Perth airport they say the 3 months mid year that Thai did resume the Perth flights they were full and yet we got shafted and not in the sexually pleasant way either. Singapore airlines are looking to be the favourites for my future trips but they are via Singapore and not direct, then again that could also allow for a few nights stopover in Singapore.
  22. Also to note that some travel insurance companies don't cover for motor bikes / scooters, they put that in the fine print that a lot of people don't bother to read. I have seen some stories like that on facebook where they thought they had insurance but didn't see the no cover for motor bikes / scooters bit.
  23. My first trip on a 747 was Denpasar to Bangkok in 1988 on Garuda airlines, my last was Bangkok to Denpasar with Thai airways (I think around 2011 or 2012 and upper deck business class on that one) - my worst was Qantas Perth to Singapore, the service on that flight sucked and I have never flown Qantas international since then and never will again.
  24. My planned trip for next year looks like it will be via Singapore and the flight I'm looking at will arrive about 11am so I'm hoping immigration won't be too crowded. I will be looking on Flightradar24 in the days before to judge what it could be like. I am also looking at possibly using the airport link so I'm hoping the BTS isn't overly crowded when I leave the airport.
