I like to start my trips with a visit to Bonny because by the time I arrive in Bangkok if I were to travel to Hero I would most likely be sitting waiting for a room, if you ask for what it is you want at Bonny they are more than happy to accommodate but it would be nice to have a big mirror on the wall so that you can watch the boy at work.

Well bugger it, been trying to rack my brain to come up with something else to write but due to the back problem my week in Bangkok was a bust, I did manage to get what business I had to do done and I did get to the movies at MBK a couple of times (I did enjoy both The Martian and Bridge of Spies) but the rest was pretty lame so I won't bore you with the tame details. Despite the back problem I did have what I would call a relaxing trip and it has fueled my thinking for the next trip. Something I did mange was some shopping and as mentioned earlier I wanted to buy some Thai porn to watch when at home, now there was some discussion about getting it through Aussie customs. What I can say is that I decided to carry the few dvd's that I bought in my check in luggage and they passed through customs without even a sideways glance. Although on the customs declaration card it asks if you are bringing in any illegal pornography I did some checking and what they meant was not the normal porn but stuff considered illegal under our laws (bestiality, underage or porn depicting violence etc). I also don't think they gave much attention to all of the dvd's that I bought (both porn and plain movies) because I don't buy that many, maybe half a dozen all up. I have noticed people that buy crap loads of dvd's get hassled at customs but have found if you keep the number low they don't mind as much but that could also depend on what sort of day the customs officer is having. Oh and it also may depend on what airport you return to as well. Just wish I could have visited the massage places like I wanted to so that I could have given a better trip report, the one massage I had triggered back spasms (one so bad it almost brought me to my knees when walking along Surawong rd) so I thought it best not to push it any further. As is my luck a week after getting home my back has come good, next trip I won't be doing anything in the lead up to the trip to even risk putting it out again.

Thanks vinapu, saw the doctor yesterday and it looks to be muscle strain only (more than one I think by the way it felt) and is doing okay now but will need a couple more weeks rest still. I got a bit peeved as I was going to burn them onto a usb stick but alas since my upgrade to Win 10 I have just found out that the dvd in the laptop is not compatible with win 10 so couldn't burn them onto the usb stick.

Ok, I'm going to leave the saucy bits until later (sorry but circumstances beyond my control has slowed me down a touch). Left Australia on Thai airways on board the 787 dream liner and found the plane and flight quite good, one of the quietest planes I've been on.
