  1. I am still into younger guys. But I will say that one of the top massage experiences I ever had was at the old Fan Club in Bangkok with a guy who was probably mid- to late- 30s. Compact, well-toned body, a little bit muscular. Quite relaxed and friendly attitude. Spoke a good amount of English. Fantastic erotic massage technique. Certainly having some experience is quite useful. It was unfortunate that it was my last afternoon in town that trip because I would have happily seen him again.
  2. YouTube is full of videos about this. They've been sounding this warning for a long time. Certainly there are lots of problems all coming to a head at the same time.
  3. aren't those wispy little mustaches back in fashion again?
  4. I just finished the second episode. In addition to being pretty they've got good chemistry and they're pretty good actors. The reaction on MyDramaList is very interesting. Lots of people complaining about their relationship and saying it's abusive. But I don't think that's quite right. Rain is just afraid to admit what he wants. I like the sexual tension
  5. exactly. The current young generation has really been fucked up by smart phones. And the older generations have too I suppose. Everyone's attention spans have been
  6. Thanks for sharing this. I had never heard of this site. Those two boys sure are pretty.
  7. looks like a big budget production
  8. YT suggested this to me last night. I think I may need to find out if there are subtitles
  9. The court has teeth. They essentially killed off Future Forward. It's just a matter of which powerful institution the court serves.
  10. He's not very popular (with the public or anyone else) so I suspect he will fade away. Andrew MacGregor Marshall had a good newsletter about this situation a few days ago
  11. I've been using his photos to fill up the "Myanmar Spa Boys" thread in the photos section. With respect to the hotel question above I stayed a couple of times at the Aya (and also under it's original name...I think it was Fraser). But not recently. Last time I was there I felt like it had really gone downhill, but maybe it's had a rebound since then.
  12. 1250 units available for rent! I think that's almost the whole building! (Although I guess maybe it's the same units listed with multiple sites so the numbers could be inflated)
  13. One issue you might run into with Airbnb is that with tourism picking back up finding a place in that exact building that is available for a full month or two might be a challenge. All it takes is some one having already booked for a few days to take that unit out of the running for your full month rental. When I booked the place I will be staying in I took a look at one of the rental sites and about 1/3 of the Ashton-Chula was available for rent or sale. A lot of those units probably have 1 year lease or maybe 6 month minimums. But with such a glut of units you might be able to work out something shorter.
  14. with all of the massive flooding in Dallas today I suspect it was a weather issue
  15. I definitely relate to the laundry thing. I like staying someplace where I can do my own wash in the apartment and not have to bother hauling it all over and picking it up. One time I did take my clothes to a laundry they used so much fabric softener my clothes smelled awful. I booked a place at Ashton-Chula for my next trip via Airbnb and I agree that it seems to be a good option - nice location, new building. There are also serviced apartments around the city. I stayed at the Fraser Suites in Sukhumvit 11 many years ago. Beautiful apartment but less-than-ideal location. For a while I always stayed at the Siri Sathorn in Sala Daeng Soi 1. There's another apartment place across the street that is cheaper. There are tons and tons of condos for rent around the city. You might want to look at a site like fazwaz.com that lists available units. It looks like there are some short term (1 month +) places available. Also, depending on your visa situation remember you might need to leave the country for a "visa run".
  16. Some of us just don't like people. I wonder if there is an element of people who lived their lives in the closet keeping themselves closed off? Or maybe since the gay scene is smaller there's a competition for fewer available guys element? I will admit that I don't ever mingle much. I am always a bit suspicious of others' motives.
  17. Finally! https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-62545577
  18. Don't those people just fly private these days?
  19. They need to find someone to design and build the engines first. Might not be a trivial undertaking.
  20. it would certainly seem a lot longer
  21. I spend a lot of time here and have not had the same impressions of the recent activity. Maybe we all see things through our own lenses
  22. After reading this thread YT served up this video to me. About Bangkok, not Pattaya, but the sentiment is similar
  23. He hasn't been locked up yet. And if he didn't do so many crimes he wouldn't have any problems.
  24. Melbourne has really slipped. I'm a little shocked at Calgary. Frankfurt is very nice. I spent several days there a few years ago. It was summertime so the weather was beautiful. Lots of people just hanging out along the river in the evening with friends or family. I really felt like the quality of life in Germany was fantastic.
  25. Apparently his militia is losing its mind. They are gearing up for a shooting war. The bad news is they have lots of weapons. I guess the optimistic news is that they're a relatively small group. But I have to say that the NBC expert Ben Collins who spends all of his time following these groups online sounded pretty shook last night when he was talking about their chatter.
