A British tourist is missing in Thailand after a boat caught fire and sank off the coast of the island of Koh Tao. The Surat Thani Provincial Public Relations Office said 26-year-old Alexandra Clarke from Lambeth, south London, was on board when the fire occurred in the ship's engine room after 09:00 ITC (02:00 GMT) on Sunday. Koh Tao Police said it believed the boat's fuel tank overflowed when it was refilled during the journey, then set alight. Officers have charged the captain and crew with negligence. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4g08j0dj25o

There was a time when BBB married both the go go boy format with the freelancer disco format like DJ Station(although much smaller) at one end of the club. I think that must have been in JL's time before it was sold. That worked well, but since then........

Let me guess, he is guiding in Dublin?

Interesting to read that. From my personal experience I would always prefer to go to the nearby Bangkok Nursing Home. Although they have come a long way since I first needed them many many years ago, I have always felt that services were excellent and never felt overcharged. Recent comparative experience with Bangkok Christian was when my partner needed a small operation last year requiring an overnight stay. He was inclined towards BCH as he thought it was cheaper. However the front of house facilities seemed more like a public hospital and the Consultant was uninspiring, so we went to the BNH for a comparison. We were surprised to find that although the Consultant was much clearer and more helpful the package price was 30% less. We were also happy with the results at BNH.

FFS! Thai bans power banks on flights or Thai bans use of power banks on flights. Are they really in effect so different, anyone is free to read and make their own judgment/interpretation on the original article which was linked in the opening post. Reader isn't in, or supported by, a newsroom! He is just re-posting articles for information, and better that we have the articles and links than not. Don't shoot the messenger!

How much responsibility do you feel for mitigating others' mistakes?
khaolakguy replied to unicorn's topic in The Beer Bar
Will you two stop bumping this thread up the list above interesting topics! The whole thread title was a misnomer as it appeared to be more about how some people take a gamble on transit times and nothing, or very little, about 'mitigating others' mistakes?" The whole thread has been the biggest mistake and Unicorn goes back on the blocked list........... If someone can remind me how! -
Also when visited recently they were allowing smoking inside. Cigarettes, what else!

Not sure that Senso will provide seemingly straight guys. On a recent visit my choice of the three available turned out to be quite camp after selection, and one of the remaining two went back to doing his makeup after rejection! It was a very disappointing visit. Both massage and afters were barely perfunctory and were based on minimum effort required. Like washing the dishes. I won't be going back, although noting that it was 2 or 3pm when I went and when I left there was more choice available.

Not a characteristic that is exclusive to Thais, eg this very thread! In fact my Thai partner calls this whole forum "Gay Gossip"!

153 Million Baht for Songkran Festival to Attract 800,000 Tourists
khaolakguy replied to reader's topic in The Beer Bar
This looks as if the Annual Budget allocated to TOT is 40 million. However with only one month to go to Songran their budget has been increased by 153 million to cover just that one event. Doesn't seem proportional or to allow much planning time for the spend. I am probably missing something. -
Happy Ending(orgasm for customer)

My source, who is neither fat nor a clown, advised that numerous Soi 4 bar keepers were looking at the empty premises on Patpong Two for the future. It could get quite competitive when the evacuation from Soi 4 starts processing. There will be a tipping point when it stops being an attractive destination and those left..........

So much depends on chemistry, which neither of you will know for sure until you have spent some time alone together. Some guys who have said that they can't do longtime may decide that it's fun together and stay longer, while others who have said that they will stay overnight find a sudden pressing need to leave, even if it reduces their fee. It reminds me of the story long ago of a not particularly nice man who I met who said that the guy he was offing was very thoughtful because he slept on the floor at night so that the customer could be comfortable in the bed. Knowing the guy I talked to him a few days later and he told me that because of the unpleasant smell of the customer he couldn't sleep in the bed with him, and he could only do overnight if he slept on the floor!

TALES from a GAY LIFE (mostly in Asia) – Part 2
khaolakguy replied to PeterRS's topic in The Beer Bar
He isn't staying at Capella. Like so many of his posts it is clickbait or fantasy! -
"Is there something environmental that renders otherwise sane men stupid when they enter Pattaya." I just think that there are a lot of men who have never travelled abroad without their mum/wife before and are now being led by their small head, not that they ever had much in their big head in the first place!

And hopefully triggering the long overdue overthrow of significant vested interests that bleed the country dry.

That doesn't make it any truer than if you had only written it once! -

Perhaps also because of the "status" and educational gap. -

That follows as you stated on the Thai Hotel Room Thread that: Isn't that 25K Baht per night? What did your haggling get that down to? -
Indeed, however if you have it to yourself it can be acceptable. We used to swim there before breakfast(when there were no other users) then sometimes return later in the day when it was busier and the eye candy was worthwhile and entertaining!
