That is good news Mima, I am happy to hear.

These maps were excellent. Even if you know an area quite well it is always good to have the updates on a map. Kudos Mr Mack! Now wondering if there was something similar done recently for Pattaya Jomtien/Boyztown. I did see that Shameless Mack had kindly done a Boyztown map in 2023, but wondered if there was anything more recent.

You are having a good success rate with guys and massage from the apps. Which apps are you using? Thanks for reports

It seems like several posters, including me, have reported this spam but has anyone had a response from Mr Oz? No big sweat on this occasion, even giving us an entertaining thread, but if there is a loophole/vulnerability allowing new members to join and then spam all the members it might be better to close this door going forward.

I don't recall reading that you have visited him in Vietnam. I hope that you are able to do that but thanks anyway for your reports on your relationship in Thailand.

That's annoying. Usually quite a bit of eye candy there. Is it known how long it will be mostly closed? -
Despite sending you PMs telling you that you have been blocked! As if one would care.

All the personalities should be able to fill a dormitory by themselves. -
That is just what we need. A cat fight on this forum.

If someone is posting outright lies about another poster here, eg Olddaddy telling us that he has received all these pms etc from Gaybutton, that I don't doubt for a minute he will be unable to produce, and is posting these lies just to stir up an argument, then he should be persona non grata here. This is just Olddaddy's method of operation as a troll since he first started posting here, under this name, three years ago. It is easy to say just sweep it under the carpet, but that doesn't deal with the issue. Life is too short.
-
Easy way to resolve this. Olddaddy, why don't you post these messages that you say that you have received from Gaybutton. As Gaybutton says he hasn't sent them he isn't going to object. Put your money where your mouth is.

[Guide] Collection of Tips for Bangkok trip first timer

That sounds rather annoying. I thought that the doors there seemed to have effective door closers that made them shut quietly. Although subconsciously you may now be on the alert for it! -
We all have to make a living. Don't blame him for how he does that. If you are going to talk to him about it make it a gentle conversation and without him losing face. If you have fun together, whatever the situation, keep doing it. Don't cut off your nose to spite your face, no harm in having a good fuck buddy. It is not a pass "Go" and proceed straight to the altar situation.

I am taken by the young man with the oranges. He could feed me tea and oranges that come all the way from China.........

I think it was/is mainly only in the US that it was called a "cellphone" or "cell". I thought it was rather quaint when I first heard it called that! In the UK it was always a "mobile", even with the first ones which were more like a large brick!

Unfortunately I can provide neither name nor address! There are some chinese letters above the two entrances which mean nothing to me and I have never known the address and it doesn't appear on either Google or Apple maps. However it couldn't be more on the corner of Saladaeng and Silom, one small entrance on each perhaps. As fortunately it has never been discovered by influencers, let's keep it that way! Although when an occasional farang has wandered in, when I have been there, they have always been happy to assist. Mum's the word and the information is provided exclusively to gay thailand fora.

I have walked past this stall many times, without being aware that this is a celebrated roti venue! And I like Roti! In the evening there is usually a roti cart further down Saladaeng, which I have noticed. On the opposite corner of Saladaeng, in this photo behind the motorbike taxi drivers, is a fantastic old world family run chinese noodle soup restaurant. It hasn't changed at all(not the menu nor the decoration) in the 25 years that I have been going there. The grandfather has now retired("been sent to rest in the countryside") but the grandmother and her children/grandchildren carry on. The site must be worth a fortune, but when asked whether they have considered selling, the grandmother replies that they had offers but she is not interested as "what would I do with my time and all that money". Her life is based on seeing people enjoying eating their food. She is happy as is. I expect that when she retires the younger generations may feel that it is time to move on........ Best to avoid at lunchtimes as local office workers pour in to the limited space, and they close mid afternoon or when the day's noodles run out.

Very relieved for you that everyone was so helpful and you got your phone back. Restores faith etc

Further Extreme Weather forecast for the South of Thailand
khaolakguy replied to khaolakguy's topic in The Beer Bar
I do realise the distance as I have driven between coasts more than fifty times over the years(usually takes 4 or 5 hours depending on starting points and destinations). So the distance is not that small. Let’s hope that the people on the East Coast, where the devastation was recently, are not hit by the forecast repeat. The original devastation was reportedly the worst in 300 years. (and let's hope especially that the rain doesn't spoil anyone's holidays!) For anyone thinking of holidaying in the South the general consensus has been that the rainy season on the East coast(Songkhla etc) is from October to December, while on the West coast(Phuket etc) it lasts from May to November. -

Not sure what your personal inconvenience as a tourist many years ago on the west coast has to do with the death and destruction caused by extreme conditions on the east coast in the last month. Now is the peak monsoon season for the east coast while the monsoons have normally passed by on the west coast. Personally I have been to Phuket many times in December and January and had great weather with only an occasional shower.
