I too came out of Babylon wanting to go to the Tarntawan and was quoted over 100 Baht.
I told him to fuck off as I had arrived in a normal taxi for less than 60 baht.
Just walk to the end of the street, 5 minutes, and ther are loads of taxis.
Only problem is when the traffic is stationary......
The usual off fee at BBB is 400 or 500 bt. If he was a performer (rather than a gogo boy) then maybe a bit more.
If the guy paid 800 bt he was only "ripped off" 300 or 400 hundred baht. Hardly worthy of even a mention on here....
Isn't that f;%king typical? A Few days notice, when that could have been announced months ago,
I feel for all the entertainers, tourists, restaurant owners, hotels, airlines etc., etc., who may well have put up large sums of money.
TiT I suppose....
Do Thai boys define it the same way as we do, that is a boy who provides sex for money? Simple as that.
Someone I know who does sex for money, but has a regular job as a bar manager, got terribly upset and annoyed at the term. Hotly denied he was a money boy! Obviously he isn't a gogo boy but does do sex for baht.
So, to them is a "money-boy" someone who steals money or some other derogatory term that I am not aware of?
Not sure about being a Tom, but he certainly was a pest.
Has long hair (wig). Been around for 10 years or so.
Certainly still hangs around there, I've seen him outside recently.
He is also the reason I don't go there.
Not so. I'm in Toyboys most evenings and my drinks and the boys drinks are always 220 bt each. As in any bar in Thailand I check the bin very, very carefully !! I believe they get 30 bt for each drink.
Like most regulars, I usually get a free one or two which helps to make it reasonable.
The Come In Bar in Sunee Plaza is to close permanently after business, tomorrow, Thursday 22 December.
What a crying shame as one of my best mates has been a barman there for 14 years and the bar has been there a lot longer than that.
I'm beginning to think that soon Sunee Plaza will consist of only the Double Shot and Ting Tong complex....
