Just wanted to let those of you who never read down the forums to know that I am posting my experiences (no matter how boring) in the Latin America forum. Comments, criticisms, and all other posting appreciated.

Day 1 in Rio First, I was not sure if Club 117 was open or closed on Monday so I spent the day at my hotel. I went swimming and had a massage by the pool. I also had a tennis lesson. I really sucked at it and I know I’ll never me a Martina Navratilova but I had a good time watching the ball boys they hired to get the balls I hit out of bounds. After a long series of flights (over 27 hours) and delay and delay and missed airport, etc, I was tried and did not want a long day. I really relaxed around the hotel and had a fun afternoon. LOL I have NO intent on going to Brazil anytime soon. That is the last place I want to be right now. The dollar sucks and it is 1.9 to one dollar. I remember when it was 3.8. What a fucking mess. No way in hell I'll end up there anytime soon.

Last night I saw the new move Resurecting the Champ. It is about a sports writer who rescues a homeless man who just happens to be a boxing fighter who most thought had been dead for 20 years. The movie was very well done and both Samuel Jackson and Josh Hartnett are great in their perspective roles. If you have a chance, take a night off and see this movie. Rumors are abuzz in the USA and right now I am in a very Cuban community in NYC. The news is that Castro is dead. No major news agency has reported this officially but if you do a google on Castro you will see many fast breaking stories. When he dies, I wonder how long it will take those that love the Latin guys to pounce on the city. I have tons of friends who go there on a regular basis and who also love Thailand. Once the doors are open to Americans, I wonder what the place will be like. At the fitness camp I was at recently, they only had Stevia as a sweetner for the Green Tea. They did not offer any of the other stuff. They were mostly a vegetarian place and they really believed in whole natural foods. I asked for some last night at a Hyatt I was at and they didn't know what it was. I guess it is not too popular.

I have been trying different kinds of sweetners. I seem to like Sweet and Low the best but there are many out there. What are the pros anc cons of them? Anyone out there done research on these things?

Even though I find it a bit of a bore, I have found I am addicted to it. It was so sad to see Corey Haim cry when he found out that he was invited to be in the new Lost Boys but the other Cory was. I am a dog lover as many of you know and this case had really disgusted me. I could not believe that his business was dog fights and killing them in such a brutal matter. I am also disappointed that the prosecution made a deal. I hope it is not a light sentence and that he spends a long time in jail and is banned from the NFL for life! Oz

haha. Hard to get Rio off my mind. Actually, just hard thinking about Rio. I do love Thailand the most as you know as I feel safe and secure everywhere I go. LOL. Well, home today is Las Vegas. A few days in the Sin City with a few Cirque shows and then maybe a trip to New York City for a week. The big question will be what happens the week after New York. I do have Club 117 on my mind.

I had family affairs to take care of for 2 weeks and was unable to work out or eat right. As some of you know, I have lost a lot of weight since Dec and I want to continue on the same track. Since I was helping family moved, my exercise was zero and my food habits were horrible as I helped them move over 1k miles and had to pack and unpack more boxes than I have ever seen in my life. I had put on a few pounds and since I hadn’t been to the gym in 2 weeks, I wanted a quick start to get back to track. I decided to book 2 weeks at Fitness Ridge in St. George, Utah. It is a resort spa that has a great fitness program and a 1200 calorie daily diet. The program is built mostly around hikes in the beautiful mountains around the area. We were hiking everything from the remote areas that are not in the guide books to the trails at Zion National Park. The workout rooms are amazing and several very enjoyable classes including Living Drums an aerobic tribal drumming class. I just checked out of my stay there and was there for almost 2 weeks. In total, I lost 15 pounds. I was very happy with the results of the program. The exercises are geared toward every level. The staff was excellent and friendly. The massage therapists were amazing. It was a nice blend of fitness with pampering. They have a brand new facility. It was very well built and the people I met were amazing. It is not a gay resort but I had a blast and I am about as open as anyone I know. Hopefully, I'll find me a cute boy that will want to go and exercise with me one day.
