Nope. Not in the least. It worries me he has my name tattooed on his chest right where his heart is. I think he said that the tradition here is that when you tattoo a name on your heart, that shopping privileges extend for the life of the tattoo.

I placed an order with BodyBuilding.com for some protein bars. The order was over 500 USD. They declined to take the order as the address was in Thailand and they said they get too many fraudulent orders from here. They said they would ship if I did a direct deposit into their bank or Western Union them the money. They will not ship to this country any other way. Amazon.com limits what it ships here. Do you find it hard to get companies online to ship here?

One of my boyspecial's mothers sent us a box of food she had cooked and it was delivered via postal service today. She sent it because she wanted her son to have some home cooking and wanted me to try some of their local cuisine. First, I am leery to eat anything that is not from a reliable place. Second, I don't like eating something new to me. Third, I just don't want to try it all. Am I obliged to try it? Or, can I weasel out of it easily?

The boyfriend and his 3 friends slept over last night. We went to the movie around 9:30 and were home by 12:30 after a McDonald's meal. They were not drunk and all were asleep by 2am. At 10 this morning I had 3 sets of work crews into my place for work. Hammering, sawing, making the most awful noise you ever heard. Each of the boys were in the adjacent room. Not one of them work up. Not one of them heard the bell for the gate. Not one heard the phone. Not one heard the hammers and the air pump machine. Not one moved an inch. For over 2 hours work was hard and loud and yet all slept though it. I hear the crack of the floor and the sound of a cricket. They seem to be able to sleep though anything.

BTW: They don't call this the Land of Smiles for no reason. The guys here have the most amazing smiles on earth.

I have been trying to teach the boyfriend photography and he is doing a nice job with it. It is the first time I have seen him taken an interest in something (other than shopping). This is a pic of one of his friends. He is over 18 years old and there are no nude photos as the law in Thailand forbids that. However, as you can see, there are many sexy boys here. This boy use to work in Sunee Plaza but now is "retired" and lives with family in his city and works security.

I am looking for a good health food store that has good vitamins and protein bars. The only place I have found so far is GNC in Tops on 2nd Road. Their selection was very limited. Any suggestions? I ordered some from the USA and they will be delivered to me here but the Import Tax on them was over 300 dollars which doubles the price. Any advice?

In the new rebuild, we are considering an area on the escorts profile for Comments about this escort. This is not in place of a review but a place for friends and admirers to add comments. Do you think this is a good idea?

I stumbled upon a boy I knew worked in Sunee a few years back. I saw him on a motorcycle with his friend. I asked him former mamasan about him and without a name to give it was hard to describe him. I was no help in the description. A boy, Dark completed, Thai, wears a hat. Not too tall, not too short. Worked for years. He never really captured my attention on a stage with underwear on but in full attire, he looked like a model stepping off of a runway. So, I asked about him with little information. An hour later, he arrives in the bar I was drinking in and came to say hello to me. As he had only had a drink with me in the past, I am not sure if he even knew me. But, we got to know each other a bit better last night. Thanks to a good memory of a mamasan and the knowledge that a generous tip would be given if the right boy appeared. Do you ever just get in your mind one boy and can't seem to get him off your mind until you see him again? Happens to me on occasion.

I had a friend who said there was an all you can eat buffet at the Dusit. Anyone been? Enjoyed it? Is it every night?

I took a boy to see Coyote off of Soi Lucky Star. It is a girl bar. Unlike the girl bars on Walking Street, these ladies were hot and sexy. One thing I really loved about the place was they sold ping pong balls for 20 bath each. When you saw a girl on stage you liked, you threw her the ball and she could cash it in for the money later in the evening. It was a very fun way to tip the girls and when I open my first bar, I will have to do this as I did find it enjoyable. There is really no boy bar that compares to the energy level in the girl bars. The customers were all having fun and the girls really did seem to enjoy themselves and they ALL knew how to dance. Why are there no gay bars that have as much energy? Why can't they get the customers so excited and engaged in the show? I just wonder about this. I do not think that going to a girl bar is a must see for a gay man. I am totally gay but I occasionally enjoy these bars and the girls there. It is a nice break from the boy bars where one just sits and oogles.

If you like the blues, then The Blues Factory Pattaya is a must see. It is right off of Walking Street and in the middle of several girl bars. It is NOT a girl bar with bar girls. It is a live music show that starts around 9:30 at night and goes until around 4AM or so. The blues are at 9:30 and I think a rock band comes on at 12:30. I didn't stay for the rock portion of the show. BUT The blues group was WONDERFUL. They played great live music. The lady singer is excellent and talented. You cannot have a bad time here unless you only joy in life is seeing a gogo boy on stage. There are guys on stage here but they are musicians and not offable. Although, you might be able to convince them to have a drink with you. I grew up on Etta James. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Etta_James Her voice drove me mad when I was young and growing up in the deep south, I really love Blues as well as Jazz. The lady singer at the Blues Factory in Pattaya is great and sang a few of Etta's songs. It really did bring me back to my childhood. I had a Thai boy with me and he had a wonderful time. I did have to explain some of the songs to him as he heard the words but didn't understand the nuances built into them. When I told him what the song actually meant, he laughed and started clapping along with everyone. I have to thank my friends for pushing me to go to this place. I plan to make it a regular stop. I also hope that many of you will step out of the gay areas and see this place. It is a sure fire good time. http://thebluesfactorypattaya.com/

Driving home late last night on my motorcycle, I saw a few accidents. I wondered what the hell I was doing on a 1k dollar bike that can crash and burn at the drop of a hat and how much safety there really was on a cheap bike as opposed to being in a car. I don't have the answer but I do wonder when my time will come to have the accident and how bad it will be. A friend of mine and I had a lengthy discussions about helmets last month. This is a summary of the conversation. Thanks to him for all the info and advice as he saw me drive off with a loose helmet his e-mail to me remind me of how dangerous it was here: This is very informative: http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/gearbox/...view/index.html I can summarize the main things I learned in my helmet reading/research last year... A 'cheap' helmet can provide the same protection as an expensive one. The protection comes from the foam liner (inexpensive material), not the shell. Expensive ones offer comfort extras, better venting for long rides, nicer finishes and so forth, but aren't necessarily "safer." Most head impacts occur to areas of the head that the little hat-type helmets you see here (and which you were wearing when I saw you) do not cover. Full-face helmets offer significantly more protection than open-face. Securing any helmet to your head is vital for it to work. The loose chinstrap (something else I noticed when you rode off) renders the helmet almost useless. In a study of crashes in Thailand, something like half the people who were wearing helmets had them fly off during the accident. High-visibility colors make helmets safer, by making you easier for other drivers to see. I bought a relatively expensive helmet to bring over and it pained me to pass up a really cool metallic gray in favor of a simple bright yellow, but I did. The full-face helmets I found here in Thailand are OK but lack one thing -- impact foam in the chin area (or at least the ones I saw did). Still, Crashes at "low speed" have more than enough energy to cause devastating head injuries. For example, if you were to hold your hands behind your back, standing still, and fall forward to smack your head into the pavement, that could be enough to seriously injure or kill you. The severity of head injuries increases as we get older. Injuries that a 20yo might recover from could far more easily kill someone in his 50s, for instance. You can get a perfectly good helmet in the states for under $100, entirely adequate for short trips around town here. Claims that people in helmets have more crashes because your vision and/or hearing is restricted are bullshit. (I find my full-face to feel far less confining than I'd expected it to be.) Likewise, claims that you are more likely to have a neck injury due to the weight of a helmet are also bullshit. The helmets you find here, if worn correctly (good snug fit, tightly secured) are fine. If you want a better one, they are hard to find in Thailand. Bikers here usually pick theirs up in Singapore. The "best" brands (Shoei, which I have, and Arai -- both Japanese) will be stolen if you don't look after them. One way to convince a Thai to wear a helmet consistently might be to buy him a "high status" helmet, but that costs some bucks. I've made a standing offer to the BF here that I'll buy him absolutely any helmet he wants if he promises to wear it. He has declined so far. I ended up getting this... http://www.shoei-helmets.com/road/helmets_road.aspx?h=13 It was far more money than I needed to spend, but I decided the flip-up feature would make me more likely to use it, and I saw some skepticism in the reviews that the cheaper flip-ups are built well enough. I very nearly bought a much cheaper, simple full-face one, and it would have been fine. Hope that's useful. Get a better helmet, and wear it properly!!!!!!

Could it be because they didn't have a work permit and it is illegal to work there without one? -
BEVERLY HILLS, California (AP) -- There was much dancing: Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are married, according to reports. Ellen DeGeneres announced on her talk show that she would marry her girlfriend Portia de Rossi. In the biggest celebrity union since California legalized same-sex marriage, DeGeneres, 50, and de Rossi, 35, wed Saturday night in an intimate ceremony at their Beverly Hills home, People and US Magazine reported. A publicist for DeGeneres confirmed People's report and gave no further comment. After the California Supreme Court's ruling in May, the talk-show host announced that she and de Rossi would wed after four years together. The ceremony was attended by 19 guests, including DeGeneres' mom, Betty, and de Rossi's mother, Margaret Rogers, who had flown in from Australia, People.com reported Saturday night. DeGeneres said after winning her fourth consecutive Daytime Emmy for talk show host in June that a date had not been set, and that she would show "a tiny bit" of the nuptials on her show. While opponents in California have gathered signatures to put a measure on the November ballot for a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage, Hollywood was throwing its support behind the newlyweds. "One of my favorite people of all time is Ms. Ellen DeGeneres," Katherine Heigl, star of "Grey's Anatomy," told Associated Press Television News at a Hollywood charity event on Saturday night. "So I wish all the best, all the happiness, all the joy that comes with that certificate ... just the joy of being able to stand up and say that. In front of everyone you love and care about in front of each other and to walk away legal is huge." Tila Tequila, whose dating reality show fame is built somewhat on her affinity for both men and women, passed along her good wishes -- with only one small complaint. "I love Ellen (DeGeneres); I watch her show all the time," Tequila told APTN. "I just want to say congratulations, and I am really sorry you didn't invite me to your wedding." http://edition.cnn.com/2008/SHOWBIZ/TV/08/...g.ap/index.html

I agree with that. What if McCain picks Rice? Does that have as much pull? I always thought a real shocker would be if McCain picks Hillary. That would really throw things into a spin.

Like I have said all along, I don't think the voters knew what the fuck they were getting when they voted for this guy. But, then again, they voted for Bush 2 times in a row. We are not the most intelligent electorate.

I think the rates are about the same as NYC, LA, SF. I don't think any higher. But, if you are into the saunas, use a condom that is provided at all saunas. -
My first trip overseas ever was when I was 16 years old. It was to Scotland. I had a great time and fell in love with the men there, the accents and the country. I have visited at least 10 times since and that love has yet to waver. And, yes, I do love a man in a kilt.

Congrats to him as he won his 8th Gold Metal! Yippeeeee!

LOL. Resigns from the board but still making a shitload. I don't have an issue with what he does with his money. UP to him. But, the resignation was only symbolic to save the cash cow.
-
I agree with you. I do not think he realizes it will be a close race and he needs her supporters to win. IMHO

I was a VERY regular at the Gaiety for many years. I had some great times there and most of the guys were Gay for Pay. On the rare occasion they got a gay boy, I had to take him. But, I took my fair share of straight ones as well. A few a week most weeks for a few years. Perhaps that is a bit over the top but I was having fun. It did not bother me in the least that they were not gay as I was having fun and they were enjoying taking my money. When the gay boys arrived, I did make sure I saw them as I usually had a better time with them. My favorites were Brad from Toronto or Montreal, Milo from Brazil and Jamie from Miami.

Thanks KYTOP. I had not seen that. Michael just won his 7th Gold medal. Tomorrow he goes for the 8th to break the record. Monday, he flies to my place for a holiday. jk http://edition.cnn.com/2008/SPORT/08/15/ol...s.ap/index.html EIJING, China (AP) -- Michael Phelps swam into history with a magnificent finish Saturday, tying Mark Spitz with his seventh gold medal by the narrowest of margins in the 100-meter butterfly. His arms soaring across the water one last time, Phelps got his hand on the wall a hundredth of a second ahead of Serbia's Milorad Cavic. Phelps' time was 50.58 seconds, the only time in these Olympics that Phelps won an event without breaking the world record. The 23-year-old from Baltimore has now pulled even with the greatest of Olympic records, matching Spitz's performance in the 1972 Munich Games. Call this one the Great Haul of China -- and it's not done yet. Phelps will return on Sunday to swim in his final event of these games, taking the butterfly leg of the 400 medley relay. The Americans will be heavily favored to give him his eighth gold, leaving Spitz behind. Phelps pounded his fist in the water and let out a scream after the astonishing finish. The crowd at the Water Cube gasped -- it looked as though Cavic had won -- then roared when the "1" popped up beside the American's name. His time was 50.58 seconds "I had no idea," Phelps said. "I was starting to hurt a little bit with probably the last 10 meters. That was my last individual race, so I was just trying to finish as strong as I could." A notoriously slow starter -- Phelps was seventh out of eight at the turn -- he really turned it on with the return lap, his long arms windmilling through the water as he closed the gap on Cavic and fellow American Ian Crocker, the world record-holder. As they approached the finish, Cavic took his final big stroke and reached for the gold. Phelps, his timing a bit off but fully aware of where he was, did another mini-stroke and actually slammed the wall with his hands on the follow-through. That was the difference. He wasn't necessarily the fastest, just first. "I actually thought when I did take that half-stroke, I thought I lost the race there, but I guess that was the difference in the race," Phelps said. It was reminiscent of the 100 fly finish at Athens four years ago, where Crocker appeared to have the race won but Phelps got him at the wall by 0.04. "My last two Olympics I've been able to nail my finishes, and it's been by four one-hundredths and one one-hundredths," he said. "I'm happy and kind of at a loss for words." Cavic had no words. Clearly perturbed at losing by a fingertip, he stormed past reporters in the mixed zone without stopping. Andrew Lauterstein of Australia won the bronze medal in 51.12. Crocker was again denied the first individual gold of his career; he didn't even win a medal, finishing fourth by a hundredth of a second in 51.13. "It was a tight one," Crocker said. "I saw my short differential between getting a medal or not, but then I realized Michael's was pretty close, too. I'm really glad that he came out on top. "It was everything that an Olympic final should be. It doesn't matter who's in the heats, you just got to get out and race and it's anybody's game. It was one of the more intense races that I've been in, which makes it a great way to end the meet." While the medley relay figures to be nothing more than a coronation, Phelps isn't ready to talk about No. 8. "It's not over yet," he said. "I really think the Australian team looks great for the relay. It's going to be a race."

Going for the all time record. Good luck!
