The Water Library is an excellent restaurant with a great selection of wines. It is a bit on the pricey side but the food is amazing. I had the lobster and the lobster bisque. I have been a few times and had wonderful food each time. They have such a nice selection and such great staff. I am looking to compile a list of good gay restaurants in Bangkok. Any suggestions? I'm starting with The Smokin Pug as I love it and it was once near Suriwong and they are great with gay groups.

I have been waiting for some hospitals to capitalize on this. The government needs to get some things approved and started. Thailand is lagging behind on this. I think that it will start allowing people who have been vaccinated into the country. I know discussions have already been taking place at Parliament but no word yet on the requirements.

I am curious if others believe this is the central location. I know of many who move to Pattaya now and move to Jomptien and Pratamak Hill area. If so, would it not seem logical that Jomtien become the center of gay life?

Most are 1,000 baht minimum. Some are less and some are a bit more. The ones like Ogasms and KK are 1,000.

OK. It was Christmas Day. Perhaps, that means everyone wanted to stay home with family and friends. However, I wanted to see what was going on in the gay bars and clubs. I ventured out for the night. I had some drinks at Hot Male bar and then looked inside the gogo bar with zero boys on stage. I went to Fresh Boys and no customers at all and less than 10 on stage. I went to Screwboys and it was abysmal. I then went to Dream Boys and they were packed with sexy guys. Well, at least some guys and I'd say about 15 guys. I went to Moonlight and got there before the show. I was the only customer. The boys on stage were 12. They were all cute and muscular. But, watching the 12 of them up and down for 30 more minutes was not worth it for me. I called it a night and headed home. I do hope this was an anomaly. I left the area early, around 10:15, so perhaps it picked up a lot after that. But, sitting in the area and not seeing much traffic, makes me wonder if things were just going to stay quiet last night. As a side note, I had to go to the doctor twice this week during rush hours in Bangkok and NO traffic and easy to get everywhere. The driver said people were staying home afraid of Covid as we have had outbreaks in the area. I hope this is the case.

Actually, my friend is good friends with the manager at Lucky Boys. It has not reopened. They went in last week to clean it top to bottom. I asked if they were going to reopen and they said there was no need as no bar in the area is currently making enough money to stay open. Hard to believe for me but I only go out on weekends. However, if their rents are high and they have a full staff they need a certain number of customers to keep it going. I have yet to see that massive influx of customers in any bar in Bangkok. A few nights are packed for a show but no customers before that or after.

Sad news indeed. I was there a week ago and it was dead quiet but it was the night with no alcohol. However, I was in Bangkok's gay area last night and it looked about like Pattaya's Boystown. It was like a ghost town. I think the new Covid scare has scared off what few customers were willing to venture out. I sat in Moonlight as the only customer for an hour, same for 2 other bars. I was hoping that the bars in Boystown would be able to hold on.

Does anyone know if this venue is closed? I see their website is gone and their Facebook has not been updated since June.

LOL Well, the next one is on a bus as I write this to spend some time with me in Bangkok. I met him last week in Pattaya. So, I didn't stay heartbroken for too long. Actually, as Jupiter Boy was here, the boy called and they both chatted. Jupiter Boy told him he better take good care of me as I am a good man. At least that is what I think he said as they were speaking Thai. It could have been, this man is a fool, take him for every thing you can get. In either case, I'm in for a fun weekend.

I agree but the thug is his oldest and dearest friend and therefore someone he trusted. The smart thing would have been to drive it into the bayou. Each episode gets better. For the first episode, I wasn't sure if the son was just slow or totally lost. I didn't like all the stupid fucking things he did or the way he acted.

I finally watched in the Line of Duty and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I had a breakup with the BF on Xmas Eve. I guess that means I am the Scrooge. We left on good terms. But, I didn't even know it was Xmas Eve until someone pointed it out to me.

The US would be the last place I want to be right now. Sorry all. In Thailand right now, and there were 600 cases and they are considering closing down all businesses again and another lockdown. In the new few weeks, we will see where we are here. But, as for this money, the bill was rife with money to billionaires. It is very frustrating to see American politics over such a major catastrophe such as this. For once, can our elected officials just do the right thing?

I heard a Trump supporter say that this 600 was FROM Trump. How on earth do we allow such ignorance?
