I really don't think they turned a blind eye. Those of us that live here have said all along we love the quarantine rules for airports but there is no way to control the borders. There is no way for the Thai government to do this. It is just not possible. I have met people from every neighboring country in Bangkok that are here crossing borders illegally. It sucks for sure. It is not right. But, I don't think it is controllable in the current situation.

The laws in the USA changed recently and I know many who are very upset with this. I'm not one of those. I have taken my dogs from Thailand and the USA multiple times but I paid for them to travel on top with me. I traveled last year with a cat in the cabin and I'm allergic and it was a hard haul for me.

I'd like to say I tried it but I don't play games or really much of anything I'd use it for. I have seen some VR tours and they are quite fascinating. But, never tried any device for this at all. If Facebook has anything to do with it, I don't think porn will take off with it.

If the Club is private and not open for public viewing of threads, what you post in there is up to the owner of that club. You have a settings area that allow you to make certain restrictions and modifications. Once you create a forum and post a thread, you can test this. Clubs can be visible to all but required admittance by Club Owner or even more restrictive and not visible to anyone unless invited. The Club feature is a really cool thing Invision did for members.

You won't have to wade through tons of photo as the photos forum will not be part of the site unless those are photos that meet 100% criteria which is no nudity at all, and yes, that includes butt shots. Anything that can't be posted on Facebook can't be posted on this site. I have been lax and that is my bad. Now, I need to self-correct. Any photos that you take or own or have the legal right to use are welcome. I love photos and especially when they related to travels, bars, clubs, etc. However, just taking random images from anywhere and re-posting them here is not allowed. That said, we have a Club area where a user can start any club they want and control access to only members they want and that club is not visible to the public or to me. I truly did understand there would be lots of questions. People hate change and wonder if it will be good or bad. I do believe that the forum belongs to the members and I try to intervene as little as possible. But, when people contribute to the site, they have a vested interest in what happens on that site. We have had this site running for nearly 15 years I think. That is a long time and many changes over the years. Everyone, including you, has a voice in what the site should be. I do try to accommodate as much as possible with most requests. And, no FloridaRob, we can't fly all the Brazilian lads to Thailand for a test run to see if everything meshes together perfectly.

I don't know about Unread Content but will try to structure the forums in a way that works for all or most. To read unread content in any section should be easy if you see something is there unread.

It is also quite problematic as images cannot be on the site that copyrighted. We remove any we see that are copyrighted but it is a massive undertaking. Regretfully, we are removing the entire porn photo section from the site. I know that some of you love this area and visit daily to see the massive amount of sexy guys. However, I am not willing to be sued based on these images. As the site is also slow at times, the site will be merging with another site called gayguides.com. This will allow a broader base of membership with guys who have similar interests. Most of the gay guides members are experienced travelers to Asia. Most of the ones for boytoy are more experienced in South America and Europe. A couple of years back, the gaythailand site merged into gayguides and soon other sites will be merged to create a more active forum. Since the beginning of this site, originally maleescortreview.com and then boytoy.com, members have been loyal and provided great discussions of escorts and places to travel to find great guys. I hope that this continues. There is nothing anyone needs to do on gayguides right now. In several days, the merge will happen and your login for boytoy will work on the other site. Currently, we are removing all names from members who have never posted on boytoy (over 30,000) and people who have not logged in for several years.
