Invision required me to rebuild the database in order for previous activity, posts, etc. to show as part of the ranking system. That took a few days as it ran in the background. But, it is impressive the number of guys with so many points, badges.

Expats are included in Thailand’s vaccination plan
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
It is now also in English. They fixed the translation. Question: I would not mind the Moderna as the second shot. Do you think they will allow this? https://edition.cnn.com/2021/07/02/health/germany-covid-vaccines-mixing-intl/index.html -
Expats are included in Thailand’s vaccination plan

I would keep trying that site. It had issues with privacy and poor coding but they are supposed to be working on it. I'd keep check back daily. It says 12-3 it is open. But, the day I booked, it was 4:30. I was able to get on back a few weeks ago but no slots available. I just kept checking OFTEN. -

I got this too. I went to the site and all in Thai. I thought odd as the email was in both Thai and English. -

No, I didn't ask. But, it was free. -
Expats are included in Thailand’s vaccination plan

What I would say is that you should try to register in Bangkok and come to Bangkok. They did not check addresses, underlying conditions, etc. As long as you can get an appointment through Intervac, you should be good to go. -

I received the vaccine Astra Z yesterday. I registered through the link above Intervac. It was done in a very organized way and they were taking groups of 60 or so in at a time. First a check of the passport, then a check of documents, then blood pressure and health screening, and then the shot. After that, they held me for 30 min and gave me my next appointment 2.5 months from now. All in all, a very easy experience. I was quite surprised to see so many young foreigners there. I'd say the majority of those in my section were under 35 and from every country imaginable. I was lucky to get the appointment as the site was working back then and friends have tried the same thing but can't log in at all. -
It was an update change that we were unaware of. We are working with Invision to resolve it and have all old posts counted as well.

I could spend days in that flea market. Lovely. I could also spend days in Tomy, but that would be a different experience. -
And, now the Supreme Court in Penn overturned the decision. Like I said before, the courts should not have allowed the testimony to be presented after an agreement had been made. We all knew this was coming (or should have been coming). But, that does not mean I think he was innocent. I think he did what they said. But, the court should have followed the rules for the trial.

I can never get enough of Lil Nas X! Look at those outfits in the CNN article and the kiss at the end of the video. Yummy! https://edition.cnn.com/style/article/lil-nas-x-dress-bet-awards/index.html

Quite disappointing. I have many trans friends and it seems their struggles get harder with lots of violence and abuse. With assholes like this in charge, I think a finger can be pointed. https://edition.cnn.com/2021/06/27/europe/czech-president-transgender-people-intl/index.html

Gay Latin American Businesses - Colombia

Thank you for your willingness to get things started. I have added all three as requested. -
If you are in Fortaleza it's worth to visit Pirata Bar. It is amazing to see all local people dancing and having fun. Also an amazing scenery. The New York Times may have given rave reviews to its Monday night party with a tremendous live show of traditional music and dancing. It’s not a gay bar or even a gay theme night, but it’s something you should definitely do while you’re in Fortaleza. There are plenty of gay boys in Fortaleza that will want to go with you and have a good time. https://www.gayguides.com/listing/pirata/

Bangkok Pride: Meet LGBTQ+ who lead the way for equality in Thailand
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
I enjoyed this article centering on one activist. It also goes into some detail about the gay pride parade in Chiang Mai. https://coconuts.co/bangkok/lifestyle/queer-activists-quest-to-open-thai-monkhood-provokes-passions-and-sometimes-outrage/ -
WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Blasting the For the People Act, Senator Mitch McConnell claimed that the bill’s passage would bring the United States “to the brink of democracy.” “The Democrats can dress this bill up any way they want, but their real agenda couldn’t be clearer,” the Senate Minority Leader said. “They want to turn the United States of America that we love and cherish into a democracy.” Noting that the word “democracy” originated in ancient Greece, he vowed, “I will not sit idly by and watch a foreign form of government sneak across our border.” McConnell rallied his fellow Republican senators by reminding them that “we’re the only thing standing between this country and democracy.” “The people who voted for us did not vote for us so that other people could vote for other people,” he said. https://www.newyorker.com/humor/borowitz-report/mitch-mcconnell-warns-that-voting-bill-would-bring-us-to-brink-of-democracy

Bangkok Pride: Meet LGBTQ+ who lead the way for equality in Thailand
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
I have wondered if it was time for the gay community to have another gay pride march and celebration. It has been in my plans to help organize this last year but due to Covid, I did not. The older I get, the less inclined I am to do things like this. But, I do think there are many younger groups of students who are true advocates and interested in bringing these issues out for the masses. I have met many Thai guys, not moneyboys, but just professional gay guys, and they all say the same thing and that is their family is very conservative. I would love to see this changed, even if slowly, in my lifetime. -
Thailand is widely viewed as an LGBTQ+-friendly nation. But there are very real challenges for the LGBTQ+ community beneath the surface. Official support has been mixed, with the government promoting and capitalizing on LGBTQ+ tourism yet still not recognizing same-sex marriages. Even Pride Month, born to pay tribute to the 1969 Stonewall riots each June, has lost some of its original intent between rainbow-washing and tokenism. https://coconuts.co/bangkok/features/bangkok-pride-meet-lgbtq-who-lead-the-way-for-equality-in-thailand/ This was a very interesting article.

Great photos. Thank you for sharing. And, the empanadas look fabulous! -
I enjoy airplane food. My favorite story of food was about 20 years ago I took my two elderly aunts to Thailand from USA. First time on a plane. I flew them Northwest Business Class as they were in their 70's. We took off and they were eating lobster when one of them said, "I see why you fly so much. This isn't hard at all. I could get use to this." I told them to go back and look in the other section of the plane. They did, and they were so grateful to me for flying them in business. My Aunt died a few years back, but her best memories were from that trip. My BF back then showed them a great time. There were tons of photos as we spent 3 weeks in Thailand and every major city. When they were on the plane home, my aunt said to her sister, "what are we going to tell people about the Thai guy in all our pictures" and she said, "I'll tell them this is my nephew's boyfriend and he was good to us." The defrost started with the lobster and ended with them always asking about the BF.
