  1. I'm sure I already did my friend - memory isn't what it once was!
  2. Nice post and good to learn more about Sansuk - i really have to check it out. I've been to Club Bath in Manila many times and one of the abiding memories is how quiet it is in terms of people talking. It's literally like a library in the steam room and corridors... is Sansuk the same or a bit more "noisy"?

    Sansuk

I've just got back to Pattaya and really must drop in to see what the place is all about. Funnily enough, I love saunas etc in Europe and other parts of Asia but I have never gone to the one in which i live, ie Sansuk. Maybe I'm worried who I might see there!
  4. It was Club Bath - easy to find location online if you haven't been before. As I was just over-nighting in Manila, I opted to stay at a hotel in Resorts World opposite the airport. One thing that has changed in the intervening five years since my last visit to Club Bath is the necessity to book an appointment. Previously, I would just turn up and pay the entrance fee but now you need to making an online booking. Please also note that you need to be a member to get in but that can be arranged once you get to the door at the appropriate time. I wondered if it had changed over the years but I wasn't disappointed. Renewed my out-of-date membership and was welcomed in as per the old days. Once in the locker room, I stripped off, wrapped the relatively small towel round my waist (funny how towels, like trousers, seem to shrink as I age) and went off to explore. No shortage of action in the steam room as well as in the dark room where the towel was swiftly abandoned and the submissive part of me came out to play... I have never had any problem with crime in Manila (mind you, I am neither frail nor small) and even when leaving Club Bath there is always the security guard to ensure I get a taxi out of there. Funnily enough, this time I didn't have to bother with a taxi as my last young Filipino insisted he drop me off back at my hotel in a Grab that he ordered... and paid for. Result! Location of Club Bath from Resorts World and/or Makati is around 20 minutes by taxi.
  5. I recently made a trip in order to return to Thailand get another 60 day visa - and opted for Manila and a few days on one of the islands. Aside from the weather being a complete washout due to the typhoon season, there was no shortage of action with a visit to a sauna in Manila for the first night being a particular highlight - as the only westerner in there on a busy Friday night it was nice (and a novelty!) to be the focus of attention. On the island, Grindr was useful with a fellow tourist needing a blow-and-go within hours of getting there, a very hot and fit massage guy providing a very good service in his own place, and a determined sissy luring me away from my free-flowing Cuba Libres. As for the sauna options, I agree - rent a cabin, lie down and prepare to think of the homeland that applies to you...
  6. Thanks for that - yeah, i was guessing maybe Phrom Phong might be the best option. I'll check it out this week 🙂
  7. How did that work out for you? I am also a recipient of the daily Line messages and wouldn't mind a rub down from one of those guys... I am a creature of habit and usually stay in hotels around Suk Soi 11/13/15 and remember the good old days of Albury, Banana and Urban Male but all now sadly gone. My question is, aside from the yet-to-be confirmed services at Aurora, are there any other recommended male massage places in the Sukhumvit area between Nana and Soi Cowboy? I've had a good search but nothing seems close at hand. Flying in on Wednesday for a few months so I'll continue to scout around... and will check out Aurora.
  8. To be honest, I hadn't even considered the lack of a bath as a bath is not what I go there for! Yes, there are perfectly decent showers at Club Bath (better than most Thai massage places I have been) as well as a large and modern dark steam room - complete with private areas - a couple of outdoor smoking areas, private cabins, a TV room, gym (again I don't go for a gym workout), glory holes and a rooftop garden area as well as the cruising corridors/maze. It's been about five years since I was last there so can't vouch for it in 2024...
  9. Yes I am aware of what is says on the website. However, having lived in Asia for more than 15 years, I am very familiar with the lax management of online platforms so I thought I'd ask those with their feet on the ground to see if any of these "requirements" are actually carried out.
  10. I read this rumour in the Romeo group. It was posted yesterday with the OP asking the question in German. There has been on reply since (also in German) from someone saying: "In February everything was still the same... including the owner who follows you around :-) It would be a real shame if that changed." Maybe that reply came from one of the group! I must admit, having never been to Sansuk, I have been reading the Google reviews and and didn't come across any rumour about the owner moving on. m Februar war noch alles beim Alten... auch der Besitzer der einem nachläuft 🙂 Wäre echt schade wenn sich das geändert ha
  11. Pre-Covid I was a regular visitor to Club Bath and thoroughly enjoyed myself in every area of the building. I haven't been back since the pandemic but I have been told that visitors now need to show proof of Covid vax to gain entry. Is this still the case? If so, that's me scuppered.
