Currently I am in Poblacion area of makati. I found a decent condo to rent for 3 months @25k per. Unfortunately it has no wifi and I am hopefully getting that today. I will visit Baguio this weekend to enjoy some of the festivals going on there now. Overall, I will explore different areas of Metro Manila to see what might work for a longer term stay in the future and possibly take a few other side trips, budget allowing.

May I please ask about how you filled out some of the information on the form? Reason for extension: Tourism? Checking for possible retirement location? Number of months: (I am staying a total of 3 months, but am still on my original "no visa" 30 days) Passport date of validity: I assume thats the expiration date? Thank you!

Hello guys, I am flying to Jakarta and having an 18 hour layover in Tokyo. Thinking to take the express train to Shinjuku and stay the night, see what I can see for the short time I am there. Any recommendations are appreciated. Especially a hotel where I can have a massage person come to my room. I heard some hotels wont allow it! Thanks! Gary

Hi Guys, I have really enjoyed checking out your posts the last few days and getting your take on Pattaya. I am planning to be there about a week in July. Can I please ask for you to recommend a hotel to stay at. Was thinking to stay around Jomtien Complex, but I also see there are other fun areas as well (ie Boyztown). So maybe something more central?
