I’m 52 years young. My preference is for younger smooth guys. I’ve focused on my health a lot more in the last 5 years with diet and exercise. That has resulted in me feeling better, being more confident, and seemingly more popular than ever in my target demographic. I have been single for about 12 months now and have enjoyed the freedom that has given me. I don’t think I could keep up this kind of pace for an extended period, it’s all pent up demand from long hours of work with little time for socialising. I am interested in semi-retiring soon and travelling at least half the year, possibly basing myself out of Thailand to start. I take note of all the tips on here from long time residents to try to avoid some of the pitfalls:)

I’ve been home for almost a week and feel I should note a few things I noticed on my most recent trip to Bangkok. I was in the city over the New Year period, and it was a crazy time! It seemed every gay Asian was in town for White Party. While I didn’t go this year I still ran into so many that did. Massage I got a few massages while I was in town, I reported on them in other topics. Aurora Massage (a repeat with a previous guy), 15M (a 4 handed good time) and Klover. I also got Thai and foot massages from various places around Silom and elsewhere. Hotel For accomodation, I stayed in Sukumvit over NY, then a few days at Pullman G, then the majority of my visit at my old favourite, The Rose. Pullman is lovely, no issues with guests. I note the elevators don’t require room keys to get to floors, which makes it easy to have a friend visit your room, or make a house call to another guests room:) I actually managed to hook up with another guest the old fashioned way - crusing each other at the gym and pool! The Rose has been discussed elsewhere, so all I’ll say is it remains a favourite. My only issue is because of its age it has no fire suppression system (sprinklers). I may review my stats here next time. Silom Nightclubs I checked out the new clubs in Silom. Rush was a big surprise. 3 or 4 floors, with the 3rd floor hosting an underwear party and the 2nd set up as a cruise area. Had a great time here on level 3. Lots of hot guys, almost all Asian. Some action on this floor (I was shocked about this!), but the main event was in the cruising area. I had a great time in there, playing with heaps of guys. They closed that zone around 2am, moving everyone to the ground floor before closing about an hour later. i ended up going home with 3 Chinese guys (actually 4, but one crashed as soon as we got to thier apartment). I couldn’t believe my luck. I had played with one of them upstairs and he wanted to keep going. Had fun with 2 of them while the third watched and took some photos/video. That was a wild night! I recommend Rush! Beef is the newish big boy club. It was very popular every night. I went a couple of times, one night it was too packed, so I came again after NY. Friendly crowd, great service. If you like the larger gentleman consider checking it out. Also did the staples, Balcony, Stranger Bar DJ Station. Always fun. GOD never lets me down either. I prefer the quieter nights. After 1am or so the toilets on the top floor are very busy. Met guys from Japan, Taiwan and of course China there. I have always enjoyed GOD. People seem extra horny there;) i didn’t eat a lot of this trip, but I did make my first trip to Madrid Pizza. Service was lovely and the pizza tasted fantastic. Gogo Bars For GoGo bars, I only checked out Fresh Boys and Dream Boys. FB had the better looking guys, DB the show went too long, with too many Drag numbers. i did note Super A Boy and New Nature Boy are still open, though I didnt check them out. I didn’t off any lads either so don’t have much else to say about the gogo bars. Saunas First night I went to Krubb. There was an event on at 8. I got there at 8 and about 20 people were waiting to get in. I figured not too many people would be leaving for a while so left and when back the next night. I got here earlier around 5 and took advantage of the gym. Even before the show it filled up fast, 90% Asian, 10% white. Mainly twink or muscle. Had a great time here. I love it when it’s busy, people are there to play and there and don’t care if people watch. I love an audience:) It cost 790B, but that got you free entry during the week, free food and drinks, and access to the event, which was 4 muscle performers who interacted with the crowd. i left there very satisfied. I went back on a Wednesday afternoon when it was far less busy but still had a great time. There was a hot Thai guy topping a Chinese lad in the steam room. I watched for a bit then joined them. Once they had finished I approached the Thai lad with the expectation he’d want to top me. I shouldn’t make assumptions, and ended up topping him just outside the steam room near the showers on the top floor. I also visited 39 Underground sauna around 5.30. Very very local. Not much was happening for me until I caught the eye to two local guys you could describe as twunks. I was on my knees swapping between the two when one asked T or B. I was only topping that day and it turned out he was a bottom. So I fucked him while his mate stood above us feeding me his cock. I ended up hanging out with them for the rest of the night, the top and I tagged a couple more guys. One a beautiful skinny twink, another muscle twink with a hairy chest. It ended up being the best sauna visit of the trip. No other farang while I was there, almost all Thai, but non-scene. i also went to R3, where I’ve had an amazing time in the past (at thier foam event). No event happening when I was there, but it was packed nonetheless. My charm and good looks failed me here. While the crowd was very hot, there was very little interest in me. I didn’t notice any other white guys. I didn’t want to hang around when I wasn’t wanted, so ended up leaving after an hour or so. Paid my first visit to Maxwell Onsen on a Saturday afternoon. Very nice place with easily the best looking crowd out of all of the saunas I visited (if you like young, fit, Asian guys). One floor wet area, one dining area, and one relaxation rooms;) All the action I saw happened in the steam room. It got very very packed. While I’d didn’t have guys fighting over me, I still had a great time here, playing with a heap of guys in the steam. Met (another) cute Chinese twink and spent some time with him on the relaxation floor. Apps i only used Grindr while I was here. Ironically for all the people in town, I got less views and responses then usual, perhaps the visiting crowd were not looking for a middle aged Aussie. I meet with a few guys, but guys I met had initially approached me. Two local guys. I plan on catching up with both in the future. My final night I met up with a muscle Japanese guy who was staying nearby. He had the most amazingly hard body I’ve ever seen. In conclusion, Bangkok is still amazing, so many guys from China are making the trip to town. With a little effort they can be a lot of fun! I was surprised by my stamina on this trip, hooking up every day, sometimes multiple times. I was tempted to try some chemical assistance but found it wasn’t necessary. For those wondering if they should check out the saunas, I would encourage you to. I’m no model, but I do workout a fair bit so I’m in decent shape. Confidence is sexy but don’t take rejection personally. Thailand never disappoints. Never had any funny stuff at Prime, but just today I got a foot massage near Siam Heritage and the cheeky bugger extended the foot massage to the Crown Jewels. Fantastic massage too.

I actually went and visited them yesterday:) I had the impression it was a professional, quality massage place. The Line account does show the staff, but fully dressed in thier uniforms. i booked a 90min aromatherapy session in the afternoon. The store is on the first floor and looks to be very new. I was directed to a separate waiting room where my shoes were exchanged, tea provided and selected the oil to be used. I was then asked what areas I wanted the therapist to focus on and any injuries I may have. All very professional so far. My therapist then took me to my room, a very well equipped space with a massage table with hole, shower and sofa. The shower cubicle has wood walls, with no grime or mould at all. So either it’s very new or they have an amazing cleaning routine. The massage was fantastic. Sensual without being sexual. I love when they maintain body contact with thier hand has they switch positions. He also used a very light touch at times. It was a very relaxing massage. I was quite convinced it was a completely professional shop. I now recall a Thai Government Minister at a press conference being asked if it was true half the massage places in Thailand are actually sex shops. He laughed and said no, they all are! My confusion was removed when he ran his tongue up my back and started nibbling on my ear. When I turned over I was presented with an “extras” menu on his phone, starting with a simple HJ for 1000B and up to 3000B for “you decide” or something like that:) i already had plans later that day so declined the extras, but still tipped anyway. I enjoyed my visit and was impressed with how clean and professional it was run. All the staff I met were friendly and handsome. As I mentioned, not much English spoken but Google translate worked fine. if your after something a little more classy then the shops in SK I suggest giving it a go.

Made my first trip out to Saphan Kwai today, booked two guys at 15M for 700B + tips. At that price it was worth the trip! Thier Line account generally puts out a notice around 1pm who is working that day. As far I I could tell none are waiting at the store, all are called in as required, so it’s probably best to book ahead at least an hour. Had a bit of back and forth before settling on the two guys Eak and Zai, both straight. Both looked exactly like their pictures, six pack twinks. They were both waiting for me when I arrived a few minutes early which I took as a good sign. The formalities were basic, pay and up you go. No complaints from me! The room is a little prison cell like, but does has a raised single bed in the centre now (I had read some rooms had a mattress on the floor). I showered and they started the massage with towels on. I didn’t protest as I can’t see them anyway and it gave them a chance to get used to working together without the embarrassment of being naked. once I turned over the fun started. One had is towel off straight away and put mY hand on his rising manhood. The other was slower to rise to the occasion and needed some help from his phone. Back in Bangkok and decided to hit up Aurora again. A recent update on Line announced they have closed the Sukumvit branch and are now operating from a place out past Lat Phrao. Figured I’ve never been out that way so why not. 1250/hour plus tip now. Made the trek out there and arrived a little early. It’s in a gated terrace development which seems a little detrimental to their business, but whatever. A good looking athletic guy opened the door as I approached handed me a bottle of water and directed me to take a seat. I was surprised I didn’t need to check in or confirm why I was there, but I assume as my pic is on my Line profile they knew who I was. I was escorted to the room a few minutes later. Very good condition, with a massage table in the centre and shower ensuite. My lad arrived shortly after and was just as hot as last time. He recalled our last meeting and was just as enthusiastic this time. They have 10 rooms on multiple levels available. I asked if business has dropped of since the move and he said no. Their customer base makes the journey. A mix of locals and tourists. I counted shoes out the front as I left and I’m pretty sure I was the only customer at the time. While I had a great time, the distance from town may preclude another visit. I’m thinking of hitting up 15M for a four hand Funtime next.

I spent a memorable night at Hyandae (I think) sauna in Itaewon years ago. It’s either closed or changed names now. An American soldier and I tag teamed half a dozen or more willing Korean twinks on the mattress. I’ve been back once since and it was very disappointing. I’m in Busan now and I’ve checked out one place. It was basically 4 sleeping rooms surrounded by a corridor. Very quiet and disappointing too. Too be honest I’ve have had very little action since arriving back in Korea. Hardly any hits on Grindr, when in other Asian countries I would get at least some attention:)

Quick update to the club. Was back in Manila and called in on Friday night, when they had a special event on! A lot busier than last time, with the sky at packed for the drag show, karaoke and go go boys. You were given a fluro bracket on arrival which indicated your preference. One level was nude with a cute worker taking care of the towels;) It was so much better than last time! I had a great time. The post is a little old but I just tried out Alpha Massage in QC. They advertised it was a pool party with unlimited drinks. I got there early Friday night and was greated by two ladies behind the counter minding a baby. I booked a massage and scrub. i hung out in the wet area for a little while. It was underwhelming. Pretty small with only a few customers milling around. i didn’t choose my masseur, but he was pretty cute. Fully dressed for the duration and no hint of any extra service. Massage was great and the scrub was intense. For a massage place it was pretty good, but there was nothing erotic or sexual about it all.

So went back Friday night. Checked out the address Macaroni21 had hunted down. The building has been demolished and is a construction site, so that was a dead end. I did end up finding it, hiding in plan sight. They have moved (at least once, maybe twice, due to the building they were leasing being torn down). They have taken over the PGHI Hotel on the corner of Alabama St and East Rodriguez Snr Ave. The entrance is around the back in the carpark. I was standing in front of it and couldn’t see it! To enter there is quite a process. Like all saunas in Manila it is members only, so you need to purchase a membership, from one month to a year. ID required. Once that’s done and you pay your entry you go to another person and they list your valuables which you put in a seperate locker. Then your patted down (I guess checking for phones, weapons?) and go through to yet another guy who issues you a towel. From there it’s pretty standard. Over four levels with a single hallway in each level with various rooms branching off. The bones of the former hotel are evident, which doesn’t make it the most conducive for cruising. There is a small bar on the ground floor in the wet area, a large outdoor bar/lounging area on the 3rd floor and a sky bar/karakoe lounge with an outdoor area on the 4th. As for the crowd, there really wasn’t one. Probably around 20 when I arrived at 8.30, getting up to 40 after 10. All local, 20’s/30’s. From conversations with patrons I gather it only gets busy during special events, so it would pay to check out their Twitter feed before you come. still managed to have some fun, the locals are pretty charming but seem a little shy in the public areas. The website gives the impression it’s a bar/cafe with a sauna attached. That may have been true at the previous location, but this is just a sauna (with massage) now. It has the makings of a great place. They could benifit from knocking down some walls and creating a more amenable cruising space. The wet area seems to have just been dropped into where it could fit. If they could attract a big crowd it could comfortably host a few hundred patrons and it would go off! But for now, with only small crowds it’s too spread out with just a single hallway on each for for punters to walk up and down all night. Staff are helpful and hot, I was more attracted to them than the customers. All up, a bit disappointing. I was hoping for something like Nadam Spa in HCMC or Chakran in BKK - big crowds and crazy group action. I don’t think that happens too often here. I think I had a better time at Bath Club due to the much better layout. Hooefully this thread will help out anyone struggling like I did to find the place. Entry is pretty hidden in the carpark. If you have trouble just approach the carpark attendant.

As for my hotel, it’s located in Chinatown and extremely basic, no opening windows, no fridge and no hot water! A review online said the hallways could be used for a horror movie. In saying that, the bed was comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful and the price was cheaper than the Hrab there. My advice, get a hotel near what you want to see, otherwise spend half your visit in the back of a grab. I’ve travelled a fair bit, Manila traffic is something else. There are very few major roads in the metro area so congestion is a fact of life. In fact I’m in it right now!

Well, I don’t have too much to report:) Only arrived yesterday and fly out for Boracay tomorrow. Heaps of interest on Grindr with lots of guys wanting to meet. I prefer to hit a sauna as it eliminates the catfishing aspect and it’s far easier to remove yourself from the situation when required. While I like getting to know someone and chatting, I don’t want to be constantly hassled to catch up again. Failed to find F Cafe after walking all around the area. I would swear it was in a building that has been demolished (that’s what Google street view leads me to believe) but their socials are extremely active. I’ve reached out to them and hopefully I get a chance to check it out tonight. so when I have up I headed to Bath Club. Registered online on the way (that’s a strange process) and arrived early which wasn’t a problem. Only about 20 guys there, all local from 25-40. None really my type but I played around with a few in the dark maze. They were very interested and didn’t mind playing in a group which I love. only hung around for about an hour as I was hungry and tired. Today I’ll head to the Mall for a look around, maybe a massage at Extreme Touch and then Fahrenheit Cafe hopefully. I’m a sucker for punishment. off to the islands for a few days then off to Bangkok for about a week. any suggestions are welcome!

Gave up on the end and got a grab to Bath Club. Pretty quiet, but an interesting place regardless.
