Just realised I haven't posted a full report about Cairo stay this January. Got lots of useful info on this forum before the trip but had my own thoughts as I was only doing unpaid activities. 33 yo, average looking guy. I stayed 2 weeks in Old town next to the palace - lots of guys around but lots of sketchy guys, obviously lots of rubbish and poor people on the streets, not a pleasant experience. Had lots of interest on Tinder and Grindr. Was trying to get everyone on whats app straight away to swap pics and get an idea if they are legit and safe. To my dissapointment there were not a lot of attractive guys, not even halfway cute guys for unpaid stuff, lots of them had below average dicks as well. I am picky, and i've just realised i had very limited choice, felt like any decent looking guy was automatically an escort. HOWEVER, i did find a few cute average looking guys with good dicks. Just to give you a few examples below. I was staying in airbnb, and in the Old cairo most of those have a door man and mine was watching pretty closely, however I had friends joining me for a few days ( from the US and Russia) and the guy didn't ask a thing so I realised i'm allowed to bring anyone and just met guys outside and came to the flat with them acting as know them. Had no issues re:safety, most of the guys spoke decent-ish or at least some english. Loved a thai restaurant in Maadi and been going there a few times but didn't have much action there, and the choice for guys there was limited IMHO. Then I moved to New Cairo for 2 weeks, nice huge flat in a small house with a terrace and the doorman been living onthe UNDERground floor,so I haven't even seen him and been bringing guys freely. Lots of houses in New cairo had no doorman or the doormanwas god knows where, i've noticed. Surprisingly,there was much more choice of decent looking guys and educated/well spoken people so I manage to actually find some company for activities, go to places and obviously fuck. Lots of youngish guys, found some hung ones (pics were expiring so havent saved them) - and the area was more enjoable,cleaner and relaxed. One of the guys was coming to me twice on the car from Old Cairo and a couple of other ones also had cars, wanted action there but I had place so they just came to me, were quite discreet. There are not as many people in New Cairo but surprisingly, those who were there were just a better fit to my needs, literally zero escorts and just horny guys. It was my typical "working from somewhere warm in winter" trip so I had a nice time, but overall was dissapointed with the choice, quality of sex was also very average. However, it's a great expirence,especially if you're into manly looking arabs and masculine guys - there were plenty of them,and it's not all about money there. But I had sex a handful of times through the trip, it wasn't asex maraphone for sure. Colombia is my next trip and I hope for more success there but the safety there is another issue - in Egypt I felt pretty safe, with the guys, on the streets etc. I've notice some "police" on grindr, but I made super clear i'm a tourist, not into drugs etc and those sketchy profiles were not bothering me at all, they would either don't care and won't respond after a few messages or just block me. Give a try to Tinder as well - found nice guys there, just move them to whatsapp for pics and more "straight to the point" sex related convo.
