i'm a bit sceptical about that point as i've just googled how many tourists were killed in London this year ( out of millions of visitors) and the answer is 0 which sounds drammatically lower vs 30 tourists killed in Medellin:) But i get your point about staying in safer areas to reduce the chances;). i'm in Florida in the early-mid Jan, so my Medellin part of the trip is going to be around 25 Jan- 3 Feb. Haven't seen a single attractive taxi driver there, but that might be my taste in men is different to yours:) Maadi was okay, but too quiet and far away from everything central, however the Thai restaurant was good enough for me to go there a few times. No hammams for me, too shy for that:)

Had a bit of a reality check and regret going to Medellin😂😂😂 Chatted with a few guys from skokka and Cali guys and even Bogota boys were okay to negotiate to 50COP-100COP max, while average looking Medellin guys are demanding 150-200 COP as the lowest and even 100 USD! (one sincerely ugly guy with a big dick claimed he is a local star and that's what he is paid). Oh boy. I'm going to find lots of touristy stuff to do in Medellin as I'm clearly not getting any sex there 😂

Found this map with population density and audience profile for Bogota - clearly north of Chapinero is the way to go Cedritos is the most highly populated "wealthy" area in the north and surrounded by even more populated less affluent areas,so that's a good choice for the first accomodation I guess. I hope i'm going to survive in Cali and Medeliin to verify this statement about Cedritos and report. For the second week i'm going to look at Chico and around it as recommended by @speedoo1, but struggling to find any non guarded appartments there, most of them are official rentals that reqire registering guests etc. So i'm still investigating!

I get the idea but I don't have an Explore function on Grindr and I don't have reliable sources for data for safety/quietness as it's subjective and can vary by the street apparently. Agree, Cali is my best bet here as Medellin and Bogotá won't be as cheap, and if you think about the length of my trip, even 100 mil per day X 35 days is 3,500 COP (800 Euro+). And I want a lot of sex (ie 2 guys at the same time, or one in the morning + one in the evening easily, which would put it me into £2,000+ spend). It might sound okay to you considering prices in Europe but won't be cheap for me, I just can't afford to spend on sex that much. However, I'll allocate some budget to paid sex for sure! I normally able to get free sex in any countries I go to so I hope Colombia won't be drastically different. I'm not a model but I'm still relatively young looking and relatively fit.

Yeah totally get that. My issue is the budget, SA trip itself is a lot of money for me especially for the long periods + paying for sex on top of that is just over the budget.
