  1. Well said @Enchanted_Elixir... and then there are the places like Kmann that bascially put it all out there, like a menu at a restaurant. I'm glad they do but always surprised that they can.
  2. @vinapu now we know you are a big pre-cummer and don't need lube.... hee hee
  3. This is also a case of everyone has different experiences everywhere. I went to S'sense 2 years ago and literally had to stop the massage and leave. He got "stuck" on my calves and just masaged my lower legs for 30 mins. I told the owner and he said that therapist was no longer with them. Obviously there are some good ones there. I think for guarantee of what you want, and if money is no object, Jey Spa should likely be at the top of your list for your first time, then Kman (not as nice, but still good service) once you start to feel more daring.
  4. @NL3456 I am going to go next month, and will let you know what I find. I think we are looking for the same things. I agree with the "go with the flow" concept, but what if they want to use that cheap massage oil for lube instead of proper lube? Do you guys just bring a 3 liter pump in the room with you?🤣
  5. All good advice. My approach is to get the good massage only from Prime Massage (strictly no extras there) and then go elsewhere for "massage" and "more"....
  6. What Stars and Kman does well is they are really clear on the tip, the size, and t/b, etc so there's less guessing theoretically. It sounds like from some other posts, though that some of the top's are bottoms in disguise. Has anyone had experience with the therapists marked as "gay" being more into it, not looking at straight porn during session etc? That hasn't happened to me but I think that might distract me unless it's really good straight porn... 😀
  7. Online visa application for Vietnam was fairly easy. Thanks for warning on the passsport details - double checked to make sure they are correct. Looking forward to my first trip to Vietnam next month.
  8. I am headed back next month and am eager to read abour your experiences. I had not heard of "History of Massage" but on Street View it looks like maybe it's another version of S'Sense? Have a great time!
  9. Same experience more than a year ago... I think it's their business model. I lay there while he worked on my calves for 30 minutes just rubbing them, not even really massaging. It's the only massage where I have gotten up and left in the middle. Won't be back.
  10. Nine-Teen is definitely a mixed bag and I have had more bad experiences there than good. Check out Relax a few doors down.
  11. I always assume everyone has every disease ever imagined. I'm pretty sure I caught COVID last time from a masseur who was sweating a lot and in retrospect likely had a fever. I always play safe though sometimes it's really hard (pun..) to do that. I think it's safe to say that they are not compelled to have checkups and until there is some sort of government regulation (which would mean admitting what goes on...) that will never happen.
  12. I can highly recommend the breakfasts at both the St. Regis and the Waldorf. Over the top fare with amazing service and views.
  13. I bet they made it rain...
  14. Haha I love that @reader!! I would much rather agree on 1000 and then maybe give another 500 or 1000 if my world is rocked... Did he tip you for the fun? 😂
  15. If a masseur interrupts a massage to ask for a 2000 baht tip, not only is the price going down but so is my cock.
  16. Exactly. I just carry 1000's and 100's and always tip minimum 1000 if special services (for me, not special for them haha) and throw in a few 100 more if they (a) don't discuss money during the massage and (b) provide above and beyond services (showering me, hug at end, generally happy environment.) I have been to the same masseur twice and had totally different experiences on multiple occasions. Sometimes the stars align and sometimes they don't...
  17. I think 1000 at Green would send them over the moon. The guys on Soi 6 seem to be pushing to 1500-2000 on my last trip... I still owe you all a trip report! I asked him for 500 if I made him come.
  18. The point is I could care less if he climaxes, has a nice dinner, gets a present from his girlfriend... I am paying for his services for 90 minutes and that does not entail me paying him to get off. If he gets worked up and comes, good for him, but this is not a lover, this is an employee, and I don't care if he comes. I know, it sounds harsh, but I just thought it was comical. "You do you, honey, I'm good over here." Having said all of that, I totally respect if a client likes to see a climax and is willing to pay for that specific service, so for those who are into it I guess his offer makes sense. But for those not, to me it was a humorous moment.😆
  19. Definitely Green Massage can go spicy. Prime Massage? Not so much in my experience. But a great proper massage.
  20. Yes, they are completely fluent on LINE and in person there's a guy at the front desk who speaks very good English. Unlike some of the other places (like KMAN) they don't try to upsell you more services (more expensive oils, longer session) and are very polite / customer service oriented.
  21. The best shop I have found in Silom 6 is RELAX... they have great response skills on LINE app and the masseurs are all very friendly. Rooms are clean with shower and have GREAT AC which the others (like Paradise) do not. No fun sweating in a massage before all the action starts.
  22. You're right, typo on my part... jet lag. For some reason you can't go back and edit a post already entered? I like the places that establish minimum tip up front... I don't like to interrupt the flow with a negotiation. But to me the funny part was he wanted ME to pay HIM to get off?!? hahahahah
  23. Halfway through a massage at Relax in Silom 8, the masseur stops everything (I hate when they do that) and starts negotiating (which I really hate) and says it will be 500 baht extra tip for him to come. I couldn't believe this as I could care less if he comes - that is not my goal here - and asked him to repeat his proposal. He repeated it. I laughed and told him if he comes he owes ME the tip! He didn't come. I did. Don't you love a story with a happy ending?

And Mango Tree! Right next to all of the action, delicious food and great people watching (I might have a crush on the owner/ manager).... 11 am massage at Prime, then Mango Tree, then more massage after lunch.... have to order carefully so I'm not too full for massage!
  25. I'll respond to my own message in case anyone is searching in the future.... I stopped by this week and the mamasan was very pushy. He asked what type of massage and I said "Oil" and he said "no, AROMA oil, much better, less sticky" and then demanded a "deposit" to reserve my slot 2 hours later... in an empty shop on an almost empty street at 2 in the afternoon mid-week. The whole place smelled like gin and regret (cue Beverly Leslie)... and lots of cigarettes. I ended up leaving and going to Relax, which will be part of my trip report I will write once this jet lag is better...
