I liked the Ibis Styles. It was in a good central location for getting Grab to wherever I wanted to explore around the city, there were plenty of street food vendors and malls very nearby to satisfy whatever you want to eat (typical for Asia in my experience and something I miss when I am in Australia.) I can really see myself retiring to Thailand in ten years or so to an apartment in Silom or a traditional Thai house on the outskirts of Bangkok (who knows?). I'd be best to take a few more trips to Thailand between now and then to confirm that's what I want to do. When is my next trip? December 2023 already booked! 🙏 PS.
