hi guys, I've just arrived in Rio. Everything's smooth and sweet domestic flight . I had a blast in São Paulo, and now I'm in Rio, although I arrived kind of late. I went straight to 117 since the Point 202 is closed on Sundays. So far, so good. I'm getting used to the sauna layout. I've already seen some beautiful GP, but I'm just checking things out and getting used to the place. It's a plus to have such hot guys around on a Sunday this late. It was supposed to rain, but it didn't. I was able to exchange Brazilian Reals at a great rate. However, I did encounter some trouble using Banco Santander. Usually, I use the one in Paulista Avenue Shopping Center 3, which is very convenient. For some reason, it didn't work this time. Thankfully, at the intersection of Paulista Avenue and Consolação, Pao de Açúcar Supermarket, at R. da Consolação, 2581, there's an ATM that gave me all the money I needed. I discovered this while going to a place called Cabines Bar Paulista. It opens at 2 pm, but every time I've been there, it's been empty, it has glory holes and cabins. However, on my previous trip, I was able to buy poppers there. Luckily, I brought them with me this time because the guy didn't have any. He said he would have some on Friday, so I plan to stop by to buy some for Rio. Lagoa, what a wonderful place! I forgot that the towels come in sealed plastic bags. On my way to São Paulo. I will do another report, and I will try to visit some other places I didn’t have the chance to go on my previous visit, like Chilli Pepper Hotel and Upgrade (that I strangely didn't visit last time) I might repeat Hot House, depending on the quality of the interactive, and visit Thermas Lagoa daily. Hi @12is12 found a good stay? My pick: I visit Barcelona 2-3 times/year, love it there. My Favorite provider used to live there so I went there quite often . No Airbnb for me. Eixample hotels work best—close to all needs, lovely area with ATMs and good food. Top 3/ 3 starts hotels: Hotel Soho, Gran Via Leonardo, Casanova. 2nd choice: Sunotel Central/ Villa Emilia and of course: Axel and Two solid, Axel in nice area. Checked November 2024 prices and they are really good Axel's clean, friendly, not a cruising hotel. Complementary rooftop drink. Of course you can find higher-end hotels 4 stars and up. I walk, taxi, or use Cabify everywhere. good luck
