Chinese Lunar New Year, or Spring Festival, is one of the most significant cultural celebrations observed by millions worldwide. In 2025, Chinese New Year begins on Wednesday, Jan. 29, with the Year of the Wood Snake lasting until Feb. 16, 2026. The celebration ends on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025, as February’s full moon, the “Snow Moon,” rises. 2025 is the Year of the Wood Snake, the sixth animal on the 12-year cycle. The snake is meant to symbolize wisdom, growth and renewal. The snake can shed its skin, which shows transformation. Loy Krathong 2024 at Adam’s Apple Club Chiang Mai We are pleased to invite you to celebrate with us Loy Krathong Festival, Saturday, 16th November 2024 @ Adam’s Apple Club Chiang Mai. Loi Krathong takes place on the evening of the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Thai lunar calendar, thus the exact date of the festival changes every year. The name could be translated as “to float a basket,” and comes from the tradition of making krathong or buoyant, decorated baskets, which are then floated on a river. Day of German Unity 2024 Celebrate German Unity Day 2024 with us, Thursday, October 3rd With all our hearts we wish our friends from Germany a happy German Unity Day. German Unity Day (German: Tag der Deutschen Einheit) is the National Day of Germany, celebrated on 3rd October as a public holiday. In other words, it commemorates the anniversary of German reunification in 1990, when the Federal Republic of Germany (West Germany) … … and the German Democratic Republic (East Germany) were unified, so that for the first time since 1945 there existed a single German state. Adam's Apple Club organizing a fundraising night to help support those affected by the floods in northern Thailand Adam's Apple Club is hosting a benefit evening next Wednesday, August 28th, with proceeds raised to help our brothers and sisters currently affected by flooding in many northern provinces. As a person from the North, we would like to send our heartfelt support to everyone who is suffering from this flood. We hope that with our modest help we can help the people in the affected regions a little. Adam's Apple Club would like to encourage all people suffering from this flood. You can also donate directly to our nightclub. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to various civil society networks in Chiang Rai, Phayao, Phrae and Nan provinces
