I flew from London on MH, booking economy return. I managed to upgrade both legs on MH Upgrade for £800 each way - pretty good value. The nicer hotels in KL have spas (sauna, steam, jacuzzi etc) for guests, usually with outside memberships. Notable examples are Mandarin Oriental, Hilton/Meridien, Shangrila, Grand Hyatt and Sheraton. They can all be very active for hook ups. Weekends are especially fun as Malaysians like to do KL staycations and other Asians hop over for a cheap weekend. KL hotels are absurdly good value compared to other Asian cities. There's plenty of rent boys on Grindr. Always ask if they are MB (money boy). Some non pros will just ask for 100-150 myr to help them out, the pros ask 250-400myr. No issues bringing guests to rooms. Ive stayed at all the above hotels over the years. I tried the massage place in Fahrenheit 88. Boy fucked me beautifully after nice massage for a decent tip. No luck in other 'mens' spas' - not even HE. Some of the skankier straight massage places on Bukit Bintang have masseurs keen to play. It's pot luck though. Use your gaydar before agreeing for massage. If they tout for body massage, not foot, then it's more likely they're looking to play and earn a tip. 50myr is enough.

I contacted a couple of masseurs there and was quoted circa £200 for an hour at a hotel - the lad started nearer £300. I declined. I was en route to KL where similar Indonesian lads will readily accept £50 or less.

I was in Athens last week. Omonia was again a disappointment. I met one Egyptian who was a great top. Promised 30e but I increased the offer mid flow to 50e if he slowed down a bit. Worth it. Victoria was too cliquey and little of interest. Had a Greek lad but not really me.

I prefer to keep some things as a surprise. One pleasant surprise is worth several disappointments.

Was asked if I wanted anything extra and I agreed to the 30e being asked. There was no discussion of what I might or might not get for the 30e.

The porn cine near the Economy Hotel has some real dregs. I did have a nice massage with bj ending in a porn cinema near Syntagma. 45e plus a tip. Few hotels in Athens check guest id. I just go up to room with my new friend with a sense of belonging. It's worked at Grande Bretagne, Crowne Plaza, Melia, ICH, Novotel, for me, anyway. As a rule I don't touch the Egyptian or N African rent. From experience it's always a hassle with demands for extra money or severe personality issues. The Cosmopolit Hotel has good st room for 10e. Better than Easy Access.

I popped in to Thermas last month. It was half an hour after opening. There were next to no other clients and about eight boys. I agreed 40e for a cute Puerto rican to fuck me. Such was his enthusiasm I told him 50e after a few minutes. Very happy punter.

When I was a pretty 18/20 tear old in the mid 80s I expected a minimum £60 for a short time from a pub pick up, but could get £100 to £150 from a sauna contact. In today's terms that's £200 to nearly £500. Now that the boot is firmly on the other foot I'm grateful for open borders immigration that means that prices have decreased significantly. 500-1000e is crazy, unless you're a stunner and get very lucky.
