Mushy peas are for Fish and Chips! Pie, peas mash and gravy is a standard in the UK. Or switch the mash out for chips!

German Pattaya businessmans remains found in Thai freezer

Whatever the full story is, the police have been quick and fast on running down suspects. They don't appear to be dragging their feet on this one. -
I believe this is all part of failed Western culture, where young folk now believe they are entitled, invincible, and untouchable. They have an upbringing protected from reality and told how important they are. They have no understanding of the world outside of their protected bubble and pretty things on social media. The reality is, when they do travel to the "real world".... It's not all fun and games. It reminds me of this article recently: https://loyaltylobby.com/2023/07/06/live-streamers-arrested-awaiting-trial-in-thailand-after-debauchery-involving-sex-toys-lingerie-at-luxury-hotel-restaurant/ The story of a bunch of USA idiots who thought they could play their idiotic "pranks" in Bangkok, to get internet likes from other American basement dwellers. They decided to fuck around in Banyan Tree in Bangkok.... Not smart to mess with Hiso Thai's. I'm actually hoping they don't get deported and spend years rotting in a hole. Normal people, at home or abroad, don't fall off balconies. Idiots do... Victims of murder do...

Common sense. "I am going for breakfast, do you want to come eat with me?" .... Yes "I am going for a STD test, let's do it together!" .... yes ok

Last Saturday an expat friend walked around the complex at 9-10pm, and out of the 31 bars, counted 46 farang. Keeping in mind Jomtien Complex is usually a lot busier than Sunee or Boyztown, one can only guess the numbers there. The simple fact is, there is nobody here, and with the airfares as high as they are people are staying away. Low season's new name will no No Season. So why not start up a business? If there was money to be made, I am sure they would. A friend of mine did a complex cost analysis on this just to see if it was viable. While I don't remember the exact figures it was something like averaging 100 drink sales a night, year round. Rent, Utilities, Bribes, Licences, Staff, Stock turnover. Possibility of tax and work permit costs depending on ones situation. The lists of costs is endless. There isn't a lack of people who want to open a bar. There is just a lack of people stupid enough to do it in this climate.

Not the case. There are a couple of beer bars available for rent, from 3000 baht a month last I heard.

If they didn't there will be a news story later today I'm sure. They always pay.... I have seen people escorted to ATMs multiple times. Sometimes by the BIB! -

Canada - Comrade Trudeua - 33% of the electorate USA - well. Let's not get started. Put the rotten troglodyte in a care home already. UK - Unelected banker, criminal, tax dodger. I miss Soi Twilight. For me, it was the heart of Bangkok's nightlife. When it closed, Bangkok was really ruined for me. I don't dislike Bangkok, I just prefer living in Pattaya, specifically Jomtien. The major problems for me in Bangkok is the pollution, the never ending traffic and the heat. -

Vote with your feet. If you don't want to pay it, don't go. There are cheaper places to have fun if that's what you are looking for. I wouldn't pay it, and I certainly wouldn't suffer the screeches of females in the audience. No thank you. Get the bus to Pattaya (143 TBH) and go to Nice Boys or something. You will have more fun there. -
Yet every boy will tell you they are a "money boy". Still waiting to hear "I money man"... Woke idiots needs to get over themselves. Thailand isn't the west, and the wording is ingrained in the language/culture here. Admittedly, it doesn't translate so well to English. But why should Thai translate to English? Their language was created for them. The LGBTAWGTQR++-34.2 people do my head in. What a load of woke nonsense.

I think the main issue is normally when people are posting photos and personal sexual information about people. Saying I met a boy called BEER in whatever bar is not the same. It's not their real name anyway. Just an alias many change every few months.

Yes, for the purposes proposed by the OP lol 🤣

Sorry friend. Everything you wrote is illegal in Thailand. Good luck!

Sarcasm dear.....

Thai immigration are known for issuing work permits to nationals of Morroco, South Korea, Japan, Philippines and Africa to work in bars and short time rooms. It's just a formality. Really. It's not a protected profession only available to Thai nationals. 🤣

I'm in the mood for some comedy. This should be funny as fuck 😆I hope someone can attend the opening night and get the police raid and arrested on video 🤣
-
Maybe so. I have no love for Russia or Ukraine. I have even less for the USA. Shocking.
-
Good luck America. You need it...
-
I would be very interested to see what % of Thai imports come from Ukraine. More rubbish propaganda and fake news. Ukraine is a pond of corruption and scum that most people, specifically Americans couldn't even point to on a map.

A good budget restaurant is Cheap Charlies on Soi 5. Great English breakfast. You get what you pay for. If you want a really nice dinner (where we were last night) go to Cafe Blu up Thrappraya Rd. You're going to pay a bit, but the food and ambiance is fantastic. It's owned by Blu (The same guy who owns Cafe Des Ami). And yes, if you want the best restaurant in the city, go to Cafe Des Ami. Order the steak, it's unbeatable. Pig and Whistle is now "Paddys". Their food is microwaved frozen shit. We WERE choosing Hemmingways for group dinners but sadly they are slipping these days. Last 3 times we went there it was fucking terrible. Having said that, their Pizza Tuesdays for 199baht are still good. They also have the best draft beer and cider in the area. I think a good rule in Jomtien is to stick to the daily specials. At least you know it's fresh food with a high turnover. If you want a Thai snack *I never ate western food there*, Fat Bunny is really good. You can sit inside out out, and it's just opposite the Complex entrance near Tinnies. Their main problem is they are a very small place and have become extremely popular. I wish them the most success. If you go, try one of of their fruit smoothies!
