I have no problem paying more than the locals because I have a lot more money than them. To me, it's not the cost I worry about; it's whether I think I'm getting value for money. So I don't care what the locals pay - compared to the price the guys in Australia and Europe charge, I'm getting great value for money, whilst associating with nice, honest and friendly guys. And lifting their standard of living at the same time! 😂

If anyone needed further proof that Emmetk is trolling the board, surely this is it!

"Why would Dementia Joe attend the inauguration of a man he called Hitler? " I guess you could ask Vance the same question.

I usually focus more on 'yari-zome' - first fuck of the year in Japan.

Don't forget that many Vietnamese guys are very well hung!

Because of my gaijin (farang) face, nobody in Japan thought I could understand Japanese so I heard a few comments about me on the train (usually late at night) about gaijin having big cocks! Lol When travelling in Europe I often latch on to Japanese language tours. The only time I got caught out was when the tour guide told a joke and I laughed. I wish I could speak Thai because I'd love to know if the guys are saying something -good or bad -about me.

In my experience, the guys have never turned to me and criticised a customer sitting in the bar. However, they have told me of various unhappy experiences they've had over the years with farang.

No action, as I spent most of my time in Macau.

The boys handed in what must seem a fortune to them. I hope they are suitable rewarded. On a few occasions I've mistakenly handed over a 1000 baht note instead of a smaller denomination, often because it's too dark to see properly. I always let them keep the money as I think honesty should be rewarded. I like to think that the vast majority of people are honest. I hope that's true.

Methanol is also mixed with alcohol in Bali. Last year a young guy went blind after drinking at a bar on a beach.

Circle in a circle usually means 'ok'.

There is nothing on their website mentioning 10,000 yen fee for foreigners unable to speak Japanese.

Me, too. Unfortunately, he's standing too close to the piano, if you get my drift!

Rob, if you go back to Space Bar again, can you please ask how the handsome young guy who was a candidate in the Mr Cambodia competition fared? Unfortunately, I don't think he won but it's hard to get info about the competition on the internet.

I'd like to think that those who voted from him are simply deluded - or just plain simple. They believe that Trump actually cares about them but it reality he couldn't give a shit about those who voted for him - most of whom he considers losers. And they obviously believe that Trump would hang out with them in real life. Just wait until another pandemic comes and they are denied access to vaccines. Or until tariffs are applied to foreign goods and prices rise, along with inflation. The most frightening thing is all is watching him choose his administration from a motely bunch of characters whose only qualification for the job is their loyalty to Trump, rather than to the constitution. I mean, what other country would appoint a TV presenter as Secretary of Defence and put him in charge of a trillion dollar budget? The guy hasn't run anything in his life.

They are probably hoping you'll round it up to 600 and say 'keep the change'.

Me, too. I'm wondering if there is another example of a candidate convicted of rape and fraud being allowed to stand for office in a democratic country. If you apply for a government job in the U.S. don't you have to declare your criminal record? If so, does Trump's election mean that this is no longer a requirement? How can a president who is a convicted criminal run the justice system? And how can the Supreme Court be biased in favour of a political party? How can someone who has been bankrupt at least 6 times run the economy? How can the military brass salute a commander in chief who is a criminal and who has never served in the armed forces? How can any self-respecting woman vote for a man who boasts about grabbing women by the pussy? That woman could well be their own daughter. Would they be willing to allow her to be alone in a room with Trump? The list goes on. All I can say is, my image of the U.S. as a beacon of democracy has changed completely. It is no longer the country I knew and respected as I was growing up.

That's him. He's been around since the early 2000's in Soi Twilight. He indeed has a great toned body and a huge cock- he's often the first guy in the big cock show. If only he would smile and show a bit of personality!

The Rose was my go-to hotel when I first started visiting Bangkok back in the early 2000 's. Even then it was rather old but it was very conveniently located. The front desk was 'manned' by 3 wonen who, so I heard, we're sisters and owned the hotel. Every day I'd bring guys back - Mr P in the afternoon, Mr O with the big cock in the evening. Sometimes I'd bring other guys back and on the odd occasion they didn't have proper ID, they would 'interview' them and then tell me whether or not I should take them. Sometimes when I returned without a guy in tow they would ask : "You no have boy today?". "I will later. I've just come back to get some more money." On my last visit to Bangkok earlier this year I made a point of seeing if the Rose was still there, and it was. I was tempted to drop in and see if the women were still there and if they remembered me. I changed to the Tarntawan and that became my regular hotel for many years. These days I stay at the Raya.

"it's a new bar, Mr O's kitchen or something like that. I always had a good time with him, so I went in to buy him a beer 200 baht. " O used to be my regular guy in Bangkok. We met when he was working at Nature Boy. He is one of the sweetest guys you'll ever meet. His huge fat weapon is a bonus. I get hard just thinking of the wonderful sex we had every day at the Rose Hotel. Then one trip he told me that because he had been promoted to the manager of Nature Boy, he could no longer go with customers. I was devastated. I also suspect he might have found a farang sponsor. I dropped by his restaurant on my last visit but I couldn't see him there. I wanted to buy him a drink for old times sake. I'll visit him on my next trip to Bangkok. The owner of Nature Boy (and the now -closed Golden Cock) is a farang. He sometimes turns up in Bangkok with his wife and they party with the boys and customers in the bar. I've had some great times there. They often take boys away for holidays and one can only imagine the fun they all have together! Nature Boy couldn't possibly have made any money, as I was usually the only customer, but I guess the owner kept it as a hobby.

How have you dealt with religious/disapproving families?
a-447 replied to unicorn's topic in The Beer Bar
No, most unlikely. I even managed to conceal it from my classmates all through high school. If they had known I would have been crucified. I came out to all my friends after I'd graduated and they were shocked, to say the least. We are all still close friends today - apart from a couple who found it too hard to accept - and over the years I've flown back and forth to Japan to celebrate their wedding anniversaries and the major milestones in their children's lives. The one thing in common they all have is a lack of any religious beliefs. -

All this drama involved in coming out is so sad. When I told my parents during dinner, my father said: "Really? Can you please pass the salt?" -
"Elderly" for a gogo guy!
