  1. When I went to hatha khmer massage, there was a small bar of in the garden. I'd sit there every evening with my chosen one - Mr Bubble butt - and fend off his constant requests for a scooter whilst trying to enjoy a pre -fuck drink. Is that the place we are talking about?
  2. And Elonia - the real power behind the throne - gave the nazi salute. Twice. When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time. Bye, America, it was nice knowing you.
  3. I once stayed at the City Hotel Lonestar in the Shinjuku ni-chome gay area. It was perfect for taking guys back for fun but even they had a strict no - visitor policy. Go figure. Still, Japan is the country of short time love hotels so it's never a problem.
  4. Download an app called Google Lens. You point the app at the written word and it translates it into any language. It tells me that the first 2 guys will be there from 7:30 pm. It also has a search function. For example, if you see a building and don't know what it is, point your camera at it and google lens will find it for you and tell you what it is.
  5. It all comes down to the length of the vowels - a bit like 'hit' and 'heat' in English.
  6. Actually, they are not similar at all. But context will tell the listener which word you mean, unlike in Thai where they listen for the tone. I've stood in front of Thais and repeated a word with each different tone and they still don't understand! 😂 It's why I didn't put too much effort into learning Thai, as I knew I'd never get the tones correct. It's too confusing. For example, take the word glai. Depending on the tone, it can mean 'near' or 'far'! So when I tell the taxi driver that the hotel is near a certain landmark, I could be telling him it's a long way from it. With the google translate app, I don't need to bother any more.
  7. “I believe that God turned his head and saved his life.” said reverend Graham, referring to Trump's survival. So, how does he explain the death of the guy sitting behind Trump who took the sniper's bullet? Just more religious stupidity.
  8. Yes. I've been there. Unfortunately, I didn't see him!

    Over 65s

You'll find this in Japan, too. Last year I went to a gay cinema in tokyo which was frequented by old guys, yet managed to hook up with a couple of younger guys who preferred mature men. The same happened at the 24 Sauna in Shinjuku. I had sex with 2 younger guys, one of whom was in his twenties!
  10. Do they wear masks in Atlas?
  11. I had a great experience at the Bangkok Christian Hospital a few years ago - if you can call a hospital visit great. I was up all night, standing by the toilet trying to piss, but couldn't. In the morning I walked to the hospital from the hotel and within 30 minutes was having my bladder drained. I think the cost was about 3000 baht, including 7 days medication.
  12. I find most non -Thai guys working in Bangkok bars can speak Thai but, in my experience, few can read it. I use the google translate app which allows you to speak in English. It appears on the screen written in the target language and you can also click on the speaker icon and it will read it out aloud. This helps if the guy can't read. BTW, you can always tell if a foreigner has leant Japanese from a textbook, because he gets the pitch wrong. For example, SHIro means 'white' but shiRO means 'castle'. Context is everything, so it's never really a problem. Just sounds funny, that's all.
  13. Wow! I LOVE a wanking show!! Is it for real? I mean, does the guy cum? A number of bars used to have guys sitting on chairs, wanking. They'd stand up at the end and shoot cum all over the stage. Some of the guys produced very impressive loads. I wasn't a fan of the wankers at the old Tawan bar, because they wore masks. I want to see their faces.
  14. What did you expect from a poorly educated real estate agent? I mean, it's not as though he has any expertise or experience in any of the fields of government for which he will be responsible. His first disastrous term is witness to that.
  15. Where are all those Republicans and maga-morons who continually criticise Biden's mental capacity? Such blatant hypocricy.
  16. Probably eating at the food market and visiting a temple of 2 in Ueno Park in Tokyo.
  17. This discussion seems to be a storm in a teacup. Reader always titles his posts, so you can quickly see what they are about. If you are not interested in a topic you can quickly just keep scrolling. No need to "wade through" anything.
  18. Ronald Reagan continued as potus well after he had lost the plot and needed to rely on Nancy to prompt him when answering questions. Why hasn't that been pointed out, I wonder? 😂
  19. In sunny, but bitterly cold, Tokyo. Traditional Christmas fare is KFC and these days everyone is offering fried chicken take-aways. We'll give that a miss and might end up at an American run restaurant specialising in wagyuu brisket and ribs. Or maybe wander around one of the dozens of Christmas markets.
  20. I don't care how good something tastes of I don't like where it came from. I refuse to eat blood and intestines and my diet has little or no fat or oil. Not even olive oil.
  21. Trump's lack of loyalty to his ass lickers is on full display. Vance has been totally sidelined in favour of Musk. But Musk won't last long because he is taking the limelight away from Trump, who feels belittled when Musk is jokingly referred to as Mr President-elect. He is getting too big for his boots and this clash of egos won't end well.
  22. I'm comparing it to prices in Australia. The yen has fallen dramatically against the Aussie dollar so I find the cost of living very low in Japan - from food, clothing, local transportation, etc. For dinner I always eat at an Izakaya pub, which apart from alcohol, serves a large variety of small dishes. Here's a receipt for a pub meal for 4 people. You can see we had around 19 dishes and 6 drinks - 2 glasses of shochu, 1 large beer, yuzu and honey cocktail, a high ball and an oolong tea. The bill came to 10916 yen (2400 baht, 68 euro, US$71, £56). I would hate to think what such a meal would cost on Australia.
  23. Relocate to Tokyo. It's got everything you could ever want in life. There no chance of becoming jaded there, that's for sure! Plus it's incredibly cheap.
  24. Then you won't find a bigger dick than Trump!
