The owner keeps it as a hobby. When in town he and his wife sometimes take some of the guys on a trip somewhere for a bit of fun.

I asked the tout outside Hotmale tonight. He said it was opening next month in its previous place.

I saw that advertised at the hospital. I would also be in interested in hearing anyone's experience.

The original Golden Cock has closed and is now combined with Nature Boy. Jay from GC is now the mama-san and my guy is now a freelancer there. We arrange to meet during the day. The bar only has a couple of regulars.

The doctor asked me how long has it been since I was having trouble pissing. I told him I started having problems about a year ago and that I was getting 4 times during the night. -Why you not se doctor before? - I just thought it was part of getting older. - Well, at least you still alive. - Gee, thanks doc! Are you taking the piss? - What you say? - Never mind. He gave me some medicine to treat an enlarged prostate and it's working fine.
-
Yes. That's what the doctor said.

Having made contact with my regular Bangkok guy and ascertaining that he was still in Bangkok, I decided to fly up to meet him. We arranged to meet in Nature Boy/Golden Cock and to celebrate catching up after 3 years we started drinking beer. We had 3 beers each and although that probably doesn't sound a lot to many, if you are basically a non-drinker like me, it is. We returned to my hotel to catch up on lost time. After he left I really needed to piss after all that beer but was unable to do so. I stood waiting for about 10 minutes or so but even though I was busting, nothing happened. Not a drop. Not a dribble. It goes without saying that the urge to piss kept me up all night and it was unbearable. I thought there might be a blockage somewhere so decided to go to the hospital to see what was happening. As soon as I walked into the doctor's office he asked me if I'd been drinking. When I told him I had, and that I normally stuck to Coke No Sugar he told me that that was probably the cause. The bladder was too full to be emptied. So I had to take my pants of and lie down on a table. The solution? He stuck a catheter up my cock and into the bladder and began to empty it by pushing hard on my stomach. He was abley assisted by 2 female nurses and the whole procedure was witnessed by others waiting outside the curtained-off area as they didn't bother to close the curtains fully! Anyway, as uncomfortable as that procedure was, it solved the problem and I was on my way. So if you are not a big drinker and decide to over-indulge, you have been warned!

Just look for guys from Isaan. There's something in the water up there.

My friend and I will be here in Kanazawa. We'll just wander over to one of the temples for the traditional ringing of the bells to signal the new year. Then a bowl of noodles - another NY tradition and of to bed. No gay activity as my friend is straight. Not that he'd mind if I went out to look for some fun but there's no way I'd leave him by himself.

China Madness: Allowing Tourists In and Out of the Country
a-447 replied to PeterRS's topic in The Beer Bar
Some people are unable to appreciate that the Covid situation is fluid. The Japanese government had 2 competing stakeholders to deal with - the tourist industry begging for the country to reopen and the average citizen who didn't want foreigners anywhere near Japan. They decided to try to please both sides of the argument by first allowing guided tour groups, starting back in August. That didn't work out. They then spoke about possibly allowing individual tourists with strict anti-covid conditions to be allowed into the country. That's when I first made plans and started looking for airline tickets. When the country did finally open in October I followed the rules in place at that time. The rules will change again. Nothing in Japan regarding Covid stays the same forever. What is true today may not be true next week. You need to keep checking. It is important to keep an open mind. -
China Madness: Allowing Tourists In and Out of the Country
a-447 replied to PeterRS's topic in The Beer Bar
I arrived in Tokyo on Dec 22 at Haneda Airport. Before arriving in Japan I had to fill out forms online and get 2 QR codes and upload my 3 vaccination Covid certificate. So there was no Covid test at the airport. The Japanese consulate at home told me I'd need to present a vaccination certificate. -
China Madness: Allowing Tourists In and Out of the Country

I’m in Japan at the moment. There are lots of Chinese from Taiwan and lots of Russian tourists, too. To get into Japan you have to jump through quite a few hoops. You also need proof of 3 vaccinations and not all are recognised. I don't think the Chinese ones are on the list. If that is the case it will take a long time before any prospective tourist can come to Japan, as all 3 vaccinations must be completed. I think that takes about 9 months altogether. Surely Thailand has a list of recognised vaccinations. If the Chinese just have to pass a simple Covid test, that will spell disaster for Thailand and they'll be back to where they started 2 years ago, with no tourism industry to speak of. Surely the government is not that stupid. Then again,......... -
Guys and ruins, ruins and boys -trip to Cambodia in Oct 2022
a-447 replied to vinapu's topic in Gay Cambodia
Local guys turn up late in the afternoon, probably after work. They lie down on the sunbeds, have a swim and many then head to the sauna and jacuzzi area. During the day the place is rather quiet as most guests seem to head out into town. Hmmm....maybe it's time I made another visit to Phnom Pehn! -
My friends and I often went to a public bath, even though we all had baths and showers at home. People go there to enjoy the social atmosphere. Many just go to look at naked guys, with the well-endowed ones walking around flaunting their wares. A public bath near a university is always a good bet. If you go to a public bath or a hot spring and want to go into the really hot pool, here's a little tip - slowly lower yourself into the water and then sit perfectly still. Don't move at all and very soon you will stop feeling the heat. The hot pool is especially good in winter because you come out pink and your body is thoroughly heated through. It means you can walk home in the cold and not feel a thing. I'm off to Japan next month with a friend and I can't wait to introduce him to the joys of the public bath.

King of College Japanese website warns punters that when it comes to anal, the guy may not be able to get it up. The English site just says : "The boy could be not as horny as you want because of his health or any other incidents, we would like your understanding." Be warned!

3P means a threesome Circle means ok, triangle means maybe and cross means no. There is no explanation on the site but I think B refers to the customer and what he can do to the guy.

As a general rule, if you have sex in the bar you have to pay the off fee as well as what you would normally tip the guy if he were to go to your room. If the 1000 baht was collected from you on behalf of the guy, chances are he did not get it all. Is the long-haired ladyboy mamasan still there? She's a very nasty piece of work. She'll screw you for every baht if you let her. On one occasion she refused to hand over my change, insisting that I give it to her as a tip. In the end she gave it to me and in return I gave her a tip - you try that again and that will be the last time you ever see me in your bar. The tall, short-hair effeminate mamasan is just as bad.

Watching that guy in the second photo seems to have really turned you on, Nirish!

I have never found the guys to be clingy or demanding. As Nikom says, guys will often recommend their friends - they seem quite willing to share the money around and help each other out. It's one of their many admirable qualities.

It's easy to get bored in Western Australia. You have to make your own fun here. That's one reason why we travel so much.

These days google maps, rather than printed maps, is a better way to get around. Unless you are familiar with Tokyo -or any other big city - it can be a total nightmare! If I remember correctly, I was using Google maps in Osaka and it was actually showing not just the map, but a photo of the street which constantly changed as I was walking along! I'm not sure the City Hotel Lonestar is still open. In any case, as Peter says, the rooms are really small. Also, when I stayed there, you could not bring guests back.

What was your favourite TV show?
a-447 replied to Olddaddy's topic in Theater, Movies, Art and Literature
My favourite show was called "Keiji Koronbo". You know it better as "Columbo" starring Peter Falk. -
Nice looking guys. Min would be mine, but Nu would do, too!

One of the most interesting forum posts in a long time, Ruthrieston.. Thank you.

That reminds me of another incident. I collect watches as a hobby , but I never take anything expensive with me when I travel to Thailand. However, on one occasion I was sitting on the plane and when I checked the time, realised that I'd forgotten to swap over to the cheap watch I bought at the Patpong night market. I went to a massage place near Tukom in Pattaya. I took off my watch, placed it on the side table in the room and had a shower. After the massage I got changed and left but within a minute realised I'd left my watch behind so went back to get it. Needless to say, it wasn't there. The masseur and the boss pretended to search for it but, surprise, surprise, it was nowhere to be found. The masseur had a small bag and I should have asked him let me search it but I thought that might be going a bit too far. I returned the next day and offered a substantial amount of money as a reward if it were found. I was told they'd have another look and to come back the next day. It hadn't been found. It had obviously been disposed of, probably for a few hundred baht. I blame myself rather than the masseur. I should have put the watch in the safe and gone out and bought a cheap one. And the temptation for the masseur was too great, I suppose. Lesson learnt.
