I am surprised by this - very different from my visit. Gay sex is still illegal in Ghana and you can go to jail, so I did not venture out much. Nor did I see much activity on the streets - most of it is done very discreetly and well hidden. I advise caution.

So let us consider your actions. By not taking precautions you became infected with HIV and, by your own admission, had unprotected sex with many men...who knows how many you infected. You also claim to love Brazillian men - what is your definition of love? Mine includes to care and to protect. That includes to care about, and to protect from HIV. Perhaps a better word is 'selfish'. Or perhaps 'irresponsible'. Maybe 'uncaring'. I am not trying to be harsh, just keeping it real. Your actions have consequences.

Could not agree with you more regarding Heathrow. Just travelled through there again last week and it was a mess...I mean even if you stay in Terminal 5 and are just switching planes they make you go through security again. And for us, they made us take a train to the main building of terminal 5 to go through main security - security desks in adjunct buildings were closed. Took moew than an hour to end up back where I started.

Interesting. So apparently the rental market is hot because there are a great number of ghost properties - they were bought but stays empty most of the time and used by visiting owners only. Many of those are now for sale so there is an oversupply on the sales front. I do worry that many of these new buildings are not the build quality of the earlier generation.

Reviving this thread since Ive been trying with the idea of finding a beach facing apartment in Thailand. I heard there is a ton of "ghost properties" due to overbuilding since Covid and that prices have been dropping. Any insights from those that have spent time in Thailand recently or even purchased recently?

Believe what you will, but if it was a simple "compliance issue" Grindr would have resolved it years ago to access the market in China. I agree - will spend my vacation money where I and my friends are welcome.
