Very sad news! He was, as you say, quite popular in the 50's-60's, writing a lot of funny songs & performing. But then, around 1970, he just stopped & went back to his scholarly career. He is quoted as saying: Political satire became obsolete when Henry Kissinger was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. I think that his decision to withdraw from writing & performing may be one cause for his obscurity.

Unfortunately I have also encountered very promising looking guys hanging out in front of Da Nang massage shops but I realized that they are just touts & the services in the shop are all provided by women.
