I will be in Salvador in July. Not sure where to stay. I prefer hotel. I would like to be close to beaches and the old town and the GP Saunas And I like Hotels with 4 stars and more. Any recommendations?

Hello, I made my decisions for July now. Will be in Rio and will make a 4 days Stop in Salvador - because of Weather and Culture. I am not only in brazil because of the saunas (wich I enjoy very much, too :D) but also because of culture, food, weather. So I would like to enjoy the old city of Salvador and the Beaches. I have seen that Florida Beach is mentioned as a good choice for beaches, but its far away from old city. And i love good bit luxurious hotels (like Ferara Hotel ) and did not see any near beaches. So...any recomodations for a hotel: bit luxurious (boutique hotel), near old city AND beaches.

Hi, yes, I was and it was great at all. Restaurants, Cafes etc were open. I am not sure how the situation is NOW. Sauna was open regular. Some rentboys around. Two very big muscled brazilians. Mostly slim guys. Nice atmosphere at all.

I would recommend Brazil. U will be able to get most of what u wish.

Have never been to Bogota or Medellín. Love Rio and SP. The cities are extraordinary with a wide range of good restaurants, museums and ...yeah,...saunas. Are the Sauna culture in Medellín the same (with GP/RB?) or how is it in Colombia?
