Tattoos are a tragedy. I for one hate them.

I can only repeat I was there on about 3 occasions a fortnight ago. It was a chubby chasers bar certainly not a muscle boy bar we knew from the hey day of the Tawan. The “boys” were fat and heavily tattooed. Dreadful.

I had a cut Moroccan on my most recent trip.

Has anyone visited this spa for a massage lately? If so what was your experience?

Unfortunately most are disfigured with hideous tattoos. A tragedy.

How does the Gran Via compare with Thermas in terms of cleanliness and facilities? Can you rent a room at Gran Via like you can at Thermas?

His name is spelt Nicky. I should add the photo of him on their website in no way does him justice. In my eyes male perfection.

One of the Moonlight models named Nicki is an absolute stunner. Very handsome, a muscular, lean flawless body and mercifully no tattoos.

There was a time when the Tawan had a large stable of spectacularly fit stunning muscle men. This has long ceased to be the case. I was in Bangkok in December 2018 and the Tawan had deteriorated to the point of being a chubby chasers bar. The One has continued this deterioration.

I gave The One another try tonight. Arrived at 10 worse than tragic. I was the only customer a few fat tattooed “boys” bored out of their brain playing with their mobiles. Don’t waste your time.

The difference between providers and customers is on average 30 to 40 years and 30 to 40 kilos.

Just one observation. I would be very careful about walking down those steps from Dreamboys particularly after a few beers. Treacherous.

I ventured out again last night. The One can only be described as tragic. Overweight, heavily tattooed “boys” who looked bored out of their brain. At least I wasn’t only customer, there were about 4 or 5 others present. At least some of bars I visited were better than the previous night with a number of boys on offer and quite a few customers. I will be out on the town again tonight.

You’re right I was talking about gogo bars. Last night they were as dead as Julius Caesar.

They were nowhere to be seen last night.

My second night in Bangkok after an absence of five and a half years. Did an early bar crawl of all the usual haunts and found things very quiet and dispiriting. Very dull with few boys and even fewer customers. I visited this new bar The One at about 10 and the boys were wearing singlets and shorts. I spoke to one “ boy” I first met at the old Future Boys bar in December 2000 who took up bodybuilding and became one of the “stars” of the Tawan. He remembered me. He is still handsome with a great body which is more than can be said of the others on display tonight. The scene in Bangkok is a sad travesty of what it was in days of old.
