As I have written previously on my last trip to Bangkok the Tawan was a tragic shadow of its former self. More like a chubby chasers bar with hopelessly out of shape tattooed “boys” way past their prime.

I suspect the Pentecostal churches here in Australia are very similar to those in the United States. The main one is Hillsong, which has had its fair share of scandals revealing the leadership to be first class hypocrites. On May 21 this year the Australian people voted out our first Pentecostal Prime Minister, Scott Morrison. Blessed relief!

I was mugged by 3 thugs almost in front of the Copacabana Palace when it was barely dark in full view of a number of on lookers who just stood like statues watching and did nothing to come to my aid after the assailants had fled. Believe me crime is a reality in Brazil.
