The Mpox vaccination question: Still predominantly MSM age 18-39 infection case susceptibility, but WHO’s epidemiological tracking for Thailand indicates that from November to mid-March the new case incidence for the country averaged merely about one per day, consistent downward trend from last August.

Draden’s 3rd question posed above: My observations on Airbnb: Where possible, I often take Airbnb lodgings particularly for longer trips. This winter I booked 30 nights in a large one-bedroom apartment. It was decent, well-managed, excellent location easily walkable to the Silom/Surawong area action. I also took a nice hotel room for the trip for entertaining without any valuable belongings to worry about, with bottomless towel supply options, and without dealing with the impossibility of sleeping with the usual paper-thin walls and constant inconsiderate slamming of doors that typically occurs in hotels. There would not have been a problem bringing guests, within reason, to the Airbnb condo. My “trainer” came up a few times. I don’t do overnights with guests. I was to check in on the 4th day as I technically needed 27 nights but I aligned with the one-month guideline. There is a lengthy thread here from around March 2023 on this subject. The “Superhosts” objected to the add-on because they thought it was unfair and unnecessary. Their point was that it’s up to me but they preferred to not take the extra fee needlessly. I had raised my concerns regarding lodgings regulations and they proclaimed that they were not operating outside of guidelines. Most of the many stellar reviews appeared to be short period stays. They capitulated to my insistence. There were no hassles whatsoever. Key pickup was from the reception staff and there was no prohibitive sign anywhere. I needed a few minor items for the kitchen and the hosts ordered them online and communicated with reception for delivery and pickup. Reception clearly knew I was a farang. I had even printed off the contract in case airport immigration were to have grilled me but it was stamp-and-go. The building had a few shops in the lobby. Other buildings in the area were similarly structured with mini-malls and some had Airbnb logo signs prominently displayed. In October the national Hotel Act regulations were revised. A lot of dwellings qualify for hotel licensing exemption and hosts can apply formally using an online form. The room threshold was lifted from 4 to 8. The examples include villas, tents, rafts, and shipping containers. (Note that shipping containers were part of Qatar’s World Cup accommodations options). Condo apartments are neither listed as an example nor excluded. Clearly the aim is greater flexibility. Some cities globally require that hosts must reside in the unit as a principal residence and only let their unit when they are willing and able to vacate it. Such a stipulation does not exist in Thailand. My sense is that condominium directorship boards can nevertheless trump the above workaround and behave as a separate entity to restrict short-term rentals. My advice, then, is to clarify with an Airbnb host that they are not operating under the radar … that they have formally sought and obtained permission for the hotel license exemption, that the building has not imposed restrictions, and that they are operating within any requirements regarding lodgings inspection, income subject to tax, VAT obligations, etc.

It opens for me. It’s an Instagram page so you must have Instagram activated. I have not been in spite of ample opportunity. It does not particularly resonate with me as worth the additional effort. I prefer a more sure thing. I am also more likely to take a side trip to a different city and blend sightseeing with exploring trade venues that might be on offer.

This analysis is out of Quebec. I had hoped to read it but there is a paywall. I have personally conducted PCA statistical techniques in my own research. Speaking of Quebec, I have personally experienced a handful (teehee) of two successive orgasms (mine) in lap dances, past middle age. The lapse duration was brief, a few minutes, and circumvented both reduction/ absence/ waning of erection and typical refractory period manifestation. The stim did not mimic squeeze technique that may have suppressed the robustness and completion of the initial ejaculation, where in a sense subsequent orgasm might represent residual ejaculation potential left in the tank. The dancers in these isolated cases were insanely hot and did not truncate the exchange immediately following first orgasm; indeed, more songs more paycheque. It felt like starting over, immediate déjà vu. I interpreted it as profound arousal overriding the usual pattern of single orgasm. It accounts for a minuscule fraction of lifetime orgasms. If the background song was Do That To Me One More Time, thank you Captain & Tennille.

The original question is loaded with multiple supplementary questions: Is erection sustainable following orgasm? -> Yes, erection-facilitating biochemicals operate alongside erection-neutralizing biochemicals. The latter usually override the former, as in steady state balance for most of our time and in sexual activity post-resolution, but the opposite is possible if desire and both physical and psychological stimulation override the latter, even without artificial PDE5 inhibition. In fact, we know that suppressing erection-neutralizing PDE5 may lead to problematic priapism that can persist well past the length of time that an erection may be sustained out of a natural motivation and desire for it. Is orgasm without erection possible? -> Yes, some men ejaculate without the tumescence that they would prefer but that alludes them. Other men (rarely) idiosyncratically prefer non-erect orgasm because they incidentally experienced orgasm, usually when young, albeit with desire a motivating factor yet without a phobia of erection, and became habituated to it. They may run into problems if and when it is expedient for orgasm to occur with erection, as in intercourse and/or natural reproductive goals. [As flaccid state is the primary physiological characteristic of refractory period, the notion that refractory period is categorically devoid of profound subjective arousal beyond cognitive motivation is, therefore, overly simplistic.] Is erection possible without subjective desire? -> Yes, of course. Is orgasm possible without subjective desire? -> Yes, of course. Is orgasm possible without subjective arousal? -> Yes, of course. Is orgasm possible without a typical refractory period inclusive of non-erection and apparent resolution and satiation? -> Yes. It seems to be rare; is poorly understood and has received little research attention; and the orgasms may be heterogeneous, that is, they may subjectively feel the same or similar within a sequence, but may differ across physiological and hormonal dimensions. By analogy, the bullets of multiple orgasm may differ among themselves when clustered in the chamber more than one single bullet differs from the next one in a single-orgasm sequence with typical refractory period. There is probably neither any strategic “trick” to accessing them nor use in pursuing them.

When asked about what refractory period I could anticipate the Thai trainer stud in Bangkok started sets of one-hand pushups to demonstrate, but looked at me suspiciously and with reservation when I suggested I lay across his back.

I thought it was “reload”, but who cares what it’s named? I’ll happily subscribe to each issue of the magazine.

Abandoned building in a mostly inhabited town, obviously not up to code. If it’s the polished balcony in the photo there’s a car flying close to it. Georgian residing in Greece, I believe. Reckless. Sad. The riverbed is dry outside of rainy season.

Paris did melt away in the narrative and couldn’t hold a candle to a full Montague. -

It’s usually a derogatory term applied to women, such as “she’s beautiful everywhere but her face”. Not a metaphor utilizing a dairy product. I’d have no problem putting my butt on his face. It could be the default position because a two-choice dilemma of butt or face is a pointless entry. -
Right, the area within which this unfortunate incident took place does look “forest-y”. It seems to be situated within, bounded by, a fairly developed area. An unusual extended pattern of one or more barking domestic dogs apparently figured somewhat in alerting a local that something was amiss. As I wrote previously, I read the word ‘grove’ in one piece and ‘forest’ in another. I think, however, that a grove may be a few acres but would be lacking the extent of underbrush and other vegetation bridging the distance between the taller trees as seen in the images. An addition to the thread less tangential than has already occurred might be the nomenclature of a cake named after a wooded area that has a cherry orchard, cacao trees, and a cow pasture situated within it. Attached are perpendicular vantage points at one corner of the space.

This surprises me somewhat, as I view you as objective and fair. I did not see the member’s post as a comment about duration of membership somehow quantifying opinion merit. Seniority is not a valid chatroom construct. I saw it as a reaction to the temerity of a member with an undeveloped grasp of the board’s code of conduct. Surely by the two year mark it is understood that you don’t utilize knowledge of somebody’s personal information, however obtained, in plotting and urging the board as a collective to sabotage a member’s livelihood, however dramatic a difference in world view associated with the explicit scheming. I would be blowing my lid off, spitting tacks, and I have no objection to any less than ideal phrasing the recipient of the threat may have employed. Nobody should be backed into the position of rebuttal against the type of intimidation that a miscreant gratuitously introduced. Let’s please be clear about who is behaving poorly and is snubbing his nose at anybody calling him out as if he alone possesses impunity.

But an additional $2,000 for the stripper’s half-hour attendance to leap up out of the cake and sensually cleanse off buttercream and fondant in the makeshift shower.

72 hours is the standard industry cooling off period for the average Bridezilla’s venting of angst and traumatic issues that often have a way of working out without said planner’s 24/7 on-call intervention.

Yeah, I was looking as well. The road identified is Thep Prasit Alley 9, spanning south from the top red bubble and west to the lower red bubble. Plentiful vegetation, denser on the south side where you pinned the bubble where the road veers west, and exactly where the motorcycle rental outlet is depicted in the news-issued CCTV photo released.

Could that mean when we were getting under adults’ feet as children in the far north and our elders said “go play in the bush a spell” it was intended as a patch of nature contiguous with the property and wasn’t truly negligent parenting? This would upend the narrative.

A few local newscasts termed the site a wooded grove, a far cry from, say, the northern boreal. Probably an unintended artefact of the language translation process.
