Definitely. It looks like an hour at an SK spa fee+tip is less than USD50. Even if the experience is mediocre, I can just try a spa down the street at that price. lol

My initial plan was quantity over quality 😆 but I will probably rethink this and consider places like Jey Spa, Senso, etc., at least for one or two visits. 🤔 I was just checking out their website yesterday. They have some possibilities there but they seem to skew more towards muscular guys when I want twinks. I will probably try a mix of different "levels". Some of the cheaper, seedier spas in SK offer a certain appeal, but as it has been pointed out, they can be more inconsistent. Paying more for a higher quality experience definitely has it's advantages. And all things considered, a massage with full service at Jey Spa or similar is still cheaper than an escort in the States. Thank you. Yes, it makes sense. I recall a massage at one of the more neutral touristy massage spots with men and women giving massages in a shop with floor to ceiling windows. I still chose the cutest guy, regardless if there was practically zero chance of any extras. The ground floor was mostly for foot massages, mani-pedis, etc. so we went upstairs for the Thai massage. He gave a pretty straight forward massage (no pun intended) but of course I let my fingers wander a bit when the opportunity presented itself. If memory serves, I also took my underwear off before changing into their massage clothes. Anyway, he ended up fucking me, which I never expected from anyone in that shop. I was hoping just to blow him at most. You never know! Still, I'm hoping to find one or two "H" spas in Silom rather than "S". I don't mind the trek to SK. I will probably go there at least 2 or 3 times and try the various spas from the "Massage shops on Sutthisan Winitchai Rd." thread. No guarantees there either but the chances seem higher for what I want (I think...)

First, thank you to all of you for sharing your experiences and knowledge. I have visited BKK many times, but it has been awhile for me due to Covid and other recent obstacles. I know that BKK has changed a bit since I was last there in 2018. This forum has been great getting me back up to speed for my upcoming visit! When I was last in BKK, I used Bonny massage and one other "massage" spot in the Soi with the go-go bars (Boystown?) when I didn't want to deal with finding a guy in a go-go bar and offing him back to my hotel. I loved that I could go in, say I was looking for a bottom and they would line up that evening's options. I see so many options for massage spas in Silom and SK but I feel like most of them lean towards offering more HJ/HE rather than full service. Should I look more towards the spas in SK for full service with top/bottom options? If Silom has spas that offer that, which ones would should I look for? (I'm not interested in Arena...) I already have added some of the SK spas to my Line acct (thanks to the 21+ pages in the other thread on SK!) and they seem very clear who is "T" and "T/B". However, SK is going to be upwards of an hour each way from my Silom hotel. Some options specifically in Silom would be very convenient. I'd appreciate it if some of you could point me in the right direction!

I just finished seasons 1 & 2 of You on Netflix. It has a bit of a Dexter vibe to it. I also liked Good Girls. Watched the first two seasons on Netflix and was able to watch season 3 via a combo of on demand and DVR. HBO's Barry is great. Very funny. It's about the struggles of a hit man who wants to quit killing and live a normal life rather unsuccessfully. And I'm currently watching The Morning Show via Apple TV. Very enjoyable so far. Great acting. Looking forward to seeing Hollywood soon too!

Damn... I've had my heart set on a trip to Bangkok in the spring for the last 6 months. I'm still tempted to go in March if the numbers remain low. The numbers (according to this website at least) are showing a total of 25 infected and holding relatively steady for the past week, not that that means much. If it remains that way (more or less) for the next 4-5 weeks, I think I will take my chances. The southern hemisphere seems relatively unscathed at this point, but I don't know anywhere in that area that offers what I like about Thailand. Besides, I'm comfortable there because I know the area fairly well.

Agreed. If you are a US citizen, it doesn't matter what the legal age is elsewhere - 18yo is the youngest you can play with. If there's a place where the legal age is 19/20yo etc., then go by those local laws. Otherwise, always 18 or older.

I was tempted to try and return under another name, even use a VPN to disguise my IP address, which was blocked. However, the more I thought about it, I realized I didn't need to contribute to the conversation there and share my sage wisdom, such that it is, with the clientele on that board. I can still peruse the boards and get info as needed, but contribute here. The main reason I still visit that site is for their massage section. I don't really see a comparable thread or forum here (unless I missed it), and I do love a nice erotic massage. Even though the NYC spa thread on the other site is 150+ pages long, I know I can scan the last 10 or so pages and get current info. But I will no longer add my 2 cents over there.
