  1. Just in case someone is lost, we are talking about this guy.
  2. You should feel him in person. He is probably the sexiest man I have ever been with. Not the most beautiful, but indeed the sexiest.
  3. First of all and before anyone says anything, let me point out that my anxiety is getting better. This time I am opening a thread "only" two months before starting the trip. It is booked. I am flying American, the ticket was about U$S 800-900. I convinced two friends from Daddy's (one of them was my trip partner to CDMX last April) to join me. I thought, if had so much fun by myself, imagine if we are a group. They are planning hiking excursions I am not going to join. I am planning days in the beach and orgies. We will meet in the saunas I am sure. We rented a 4 BRs Airbnb about two blocks away from the place I rented in July, in Copacabana, close to Posto 5. It costed about U$S 100 each. The description for the place states that parties are allowed, so I am already having quite intense fantasies. If anyone is going to be around, it would be great to connect. Italo is teasing me through WhatsApp Italo from WhatsApp.mp4
  4. I am researching Rio because I am going back in November. The average hour in vivalocal.com is 150-200 for one hour.
  5. I am not surprised. Sao Paulo and Campinas were very highly regarded institutions in South America already back in the 80s, when I was in college in Buenos Aires.
  6. I was about to open a thread about this. Here you have the report from an Argentine conservative paper. Good if your Spanish is not strong and/or need to use a translator. Here you have the report from an Argentine progressive paper. Good is your Spanish strong, a translator would not help you to appreciate how well written it is.
  7. I guess the author is trying to scare the competition for GPs.
  8. Let's not pick on SP, that narrative is ridiculous to sell any big city around the world. It is really weird someone would write something like that, and even weirder getting it published.
  9. Ha! I don't think it is a good analogy.
  10. Isn't 300 too expensive? You can get a garoto for 100 in a sauna, or local porn stars coming to your place for 200. Is Sao Paulo more expensive than Rio or Salvador?
  11. I hope it stays that way. I am coming back to Rio in November.
  12. Yes, you were. I paid $150 to have a GP from 10 AM to 6PM. Of course all the expenses while together were up to me.
  13. If you are in SP, just call Jonathan. This is his ad. This is my review .
  14. Oh, I am still enjoying the beach, but July was quite good to me fr the beach, even when Cariocas would complain about the cold.
  15. That is one of the issues, Colombia is much more affordable in that season. I think you also referred to my other issue in your cryptic one-liner post. Weather. I do not handle well the heat. I think I should keep July for my visits to Rio, and December for any where else.
  16. I was thinking of doing DC-Cartagena-Bogota-DC. Christmas in a Caribbean beach, NYE in the Andes.
  17. I was not considering that possibility.
  18. Right now I am debating with myself whether should I go to Colombia or to Rio this December.
  19. Did you use it with good results? I took a look to all the countries, and it looks quite sketchy to me. Thanks for your reports, they are informative and educative.
  20. I checked out from my airbnb this morning. Right now I am at my sister's home. I am exhausted, my flight back home leaves tomorrow night. Let me briefly report the few things I have to share since I left this log, last Thursday. That night, I had my second meeting with Fran. It was even better than the first one. This boy is amazing, my first Argentinean crush in a long time, as I have been absorbed by immigrants to Buenos Aires. I cannot recommend him enough, almost at the heights of Italo Andrade, both lovers I will not forget about. And that is a lot to say considering my bad memory and my slutty ways. On Friday, "Angel" came over to make up for our lost appointment Wednesday night. He stayed with me until Sunday. I have not had this much sex in a long time, and had to use some of my Viagra (I do my shopping here, it is much cheaper) to satisfy this boy. It was hot. He likes role playing, we played a lot with our age difference, acting up pervert grampa situations. However, my favorite one was the pimp scene. Knowing he is an escort really drives me crazy. On Saturday night we ran out of weed. I had almost no cash and did not want to pay again the fee for withdrawing from an ATM. "Angel" left to service one of his clients, and with the money he got we looked for weed in Grindr. This whole situation was smoking hot. Needless to say, I did not go to KM ZERO or anywhere else. Meeting him was great, it rejuvenated me and made me feel a way that I have not in many, many years. 48 hours of free sex and romance with a 25 years old hottie is something that has not happened to me in a long time. Unfortunately, my adventures are over. Actually, I am tired and ready to go back home. I need to recover strength to meeting my room mate in DC, he has been teasing me through WhatsApp. This entry is probably my last one in this thread, I need to get to work on my blog. Next trip? I have not yet made my mind. I have been very much tempted with Santo Domingo, but I think it is a better match for a bottom than it is for me. Right now the two strongest contenders are Colombia and Brazil. Perhaps Barcelona? Let's see.
  21. I doubt anyone will be able to give you s better insight than @Tomcal's above. You should take it and forget about hotels.
  22. In my own little experience, any airbnb in a strip of 300/400 meters from the beach in Copacabana or Ipanema will be safe and you will be able to have visitors without answering any questions. All building usually have 24 hours staff, your visitors will be announced to you if you do not bring them, with no issues.
  23. Montevideo was sweet but cold. My ferry was departing at 7:30 AM and I, following directions, planned everything to be at the port at 5:30. I got up at 4:30, took a shower, called my Uber, sat in the front seat with the Uber driver because in Buenos Aires they still are in the hide, and was at Buquebus terminal at 5:30 My last time there had been 25 years ago, the improvement was impressive. A crappy deck had turned into a huge, modern, International airport-like building. But of course the only visible humans were security guards and passengers, fuck my punctuality. At 6am the rest of the staff started to arrive and get ready for checking in and boarding. There were no delays, though. Customs, migration, and security checks were very smooth and easy. I noticed many English speakers, and for them it was just as sweet as it was for Mercosur citizens. I wanted to enjoy the view through the ship windows (it is a high speed vessel, you cannot go outside and there are no open windows) but the seat was comfortable and slept the whole trip. We departed on time, at 7:30am, and arrived on time to Montevideo’s port at 9:45. The port is right in my favorite neighborhood, la Ciudad Vieja (Old Town), and my plan was to walk around and in the rambla, until meeting with Will, silly me. All my previous visits to the city had been in the summer, when the beaches were booming and the rambla was an exciting mix crowd parade. But now it is winter. Not only the temperature was cooler than in Buenos Aires, but the wind was merciless, being the neighborhood in a peninsula. It was Tuesday, 10am, and everything look deserted, the businesses closed, and the people just waking up. I forgot about walking around and looked for a shelter in Google Maps. I found a place a few minutes away that was opened: The Lab Coffee Rosters. I am not translating the name, it was originally baptized in English. I picked it because despite being 10:30am everything else was closed. It ended being a great choice. They were in Calle Sarandí, probably the main pedestrian street in Ciudad Vieja, had a strong wifi, and knew how to fix a delicious strong latte. I arrived to the place well passed 10:30, and they were just opening and setting up. A coffee place to have breakfast. A Tuesday. Only in Montevideo. Even Argentinean small towns wake up earlier. There were just two customers when I arrived, and soon a group of five walked in. Everyone was speaking in English. The group seemed to be real state investors and developers. The two lonely customers were college age kids. One of them, a read hair girl, was joined by other two young ones, all of them English speakers I got to work on catching up for my blog. Meanwhile, I was in touch with Will to coordinate our meeting. He works as a nurse at a local clinic, and would be busy until 2. Will recommended me another coffee shop, called 11:11, also in Calle Sarandí two blocks away. The owners are his friends, and you are supposed to be able to eat loaded brownies with your coffee. I could not resist such a temptation however the place would not open until 1. Will would call his friends and we would be able to have the interview right there. At 1 I paid my check and moved to 11:11. The city seemed to be more alive now, and I walked around before getting in the cafe. The wind was freezing. Everyone seemed calmed and in a good mood, such a contrast against Buenos Aires craziness. I finally got into the place. It was in the third floor of an old building climbing through stairs. In the second floor there was a cannabis dispensary. Let me introduce here a report for our friend @numazu1. He asked me not for him but for a friend, I wonder whether or not he is Tomás. Numazu, you and your friend will not be able to buy anything in the dispensaries. Even Uruguayan citizens and permanent residents, who are the only ones who can purchase cannabis in an official store, must be registered and get an ID in order to trade legally. So the options for your friend are 1. To find a national who is registered and can buy for you, or 2. Buy in the street. I do not know how easy to get flowers is, but in my short walk at noon I heard several street vendors offering cannabis oils. Will’s friends were actually traveling abroad. As an example of how risky it may be for a business to break the regulations, 11:11 was not offering edibles without the owners there to make the decision and take the risk. So, Numazu, getting weed in Uruguay may not be as easy as you would expect in a country that has legalized production, trade, and use. I liked the atmosphere in 11:11. The coffee was not good, and neither was the alfajor I ordered, disappointed at the lack of loaded brownies. But the wifi was strong (apparently Uruguay has better wifi than Argentina), the music was great, and I loved the staff. Very young boys and girls, local cool hipsters, the oldest one was probably in his late 20s and was cross dressed with a long skirt and a long hair wig. No make up, and not recently shaved. Passed 3 pm, Will asked me to meet him at Sarandí to have lunch. We went to one of “La Pasiva” locations. La Pasiva is a chain of restaurants. Originally was a fast food Uruguayan chain, that has evolved into more standard restaurants serving hybrids between fast and regular food. You can get there amazing Uruguayan chivitos. I usually enjoy them in a sandwich, but this day we ordered them on a plate, no bread. It was my first time talking face to face to Will. He stroke me as smaller and shorter than I expected, but not less beautiful and charming. He was very thankful because I recommended him to Rhyeim, and he ended in the group of Brazilian guys he summoned during his trip to Rio and São Paulo. Everyone who participated in that event got huge bumps in their followings and talks with American and European studios. I find him not only adorable physically and politically, but super interesting. Nowadays, when it is a trend to talk about and analyze intersectionality, here we have a very special case for the Rio de la Plata. Will has not double or hidden life, he is who he is everywhere and with everyone. He is Black, Gay, Bottom, and a porn star, besides being a political activist, model, DJ, nurse, and student of Nutrition at college. We ate, went back to 11:11, set up my phone on a tripod and perform the interview right there, in our bad English. I hope it can be understood, I do not know when I will have time to work on it. Writing reports on my meetings with escorts is easier than editing and presenting an interview. Then Will escorted me back to the port to take my ferry. We hugged goodbye at 6:30 and it was already dark. The check in and boarding process was as easy in the Uruguayan side as it has been in Argentina. Soon I was on board and once again, I slept the whole trip. This one was a little bit shakier because of the strong winds, and we arrive 10 minutes after the schedule time. My old friend Ariel and his boyfriend were waiting for me. It is such a joy meeting him again after 20 years! We chatted for about 4 hours the day before, bt did not have enough and he wanted to introduce me to his man. We ate something not far away from Puerto Madero, and then walked up to Recoleta, as it was not as cold in Buenos Aires. At 2 am I was arriving home and falling dead in bed, exhausted. Today I had lunch with my mother and nephews, and then came to my base to prepare for “Angel”. We were still running our role play situation in our communications. I did not have sex in two days and I was horny. I am horny. When he was in his way, he sent me a very weird communication apologizing and saying that something had happened in his way, and had to go back, and mentioning something about an old lady in troubles. There was a weird back noise, and he seemed to be ready stressed. So I am concerned and without knowing what is going on, besides being horny. I tried to reach out to Douglas, but he is not responding. Grindr has been so far fruitless, many hits but not one worthy. So, I am writing. I wrote that last night. After writing I called one of the local apps for food delivery, and got some comfort food to comfort me for the lack of sex. At 1am, "Angel" called me. He had been caught in a drugs operative in his hostel. He was not in trouble, but the police retained him as a witness and was not freed until that late. I was relieved to know he was OK. Our role playing date was fucked up, but we will meet Friday night. Tonight, I will have my second meeting with Fran, probably my last one with a provider. I talked to Carlos Aleman this morning. He has decided to not make himself available for anyone, national or foreigner, and keep working only for the few regulars he is keeping. He is too expensive, and I am having very good sex for free, so I am not going to invest more o. him, but we will probably meet for a drink. Although he is retiring from Buenos Aires market, his plan right now is preparing an escorting tour to Europe (he does not think an American visa is at his reach). Right now I am at the condo that used to be my residency and is now my sister's. We are about to have luh with her, my twin nephews and my mother. In my way, I saw these prices that you may find interesting. These are offers from a fancy butchery in Recoleta, you can find much better prices in other places. Remember the prices are for Kilogram.
  24. I have not noticed any changes in meals times. The ones you mentioned are correct, although dinner can start even later. I have not noticed the concerns about insecurity that in other visits the locals shared with me. In my decades of experience with Argentinean trends, street security has been manipulated by governments and press, according to their alliances. Right now, La Nacion and Clarin, the two most important national newspapers and simultaneously flag vessels of major multimedia emporiums, are fond of President Macri's administration effort to be reelected in a few weeks, and there are almost no news about insecurity. Besides, you can see an increased presence of CABA police agents everywhere. I have been only in Puerto Madero, Barrio Norte, y Recoleta so far, all safe neighborhoods, middle and upper middle class. I cannot speak of the situation in the rest of the city, but the lack of chatting in the streets and in media is eloquent. Indeed, I feel safer walking in those neighborhoods than I feel walking in my neighborhood or my school neighborhood or many others areas I daily go through in DC.
