    Fortaleza

To wrap up my nine days in Fortaleza... I like to keep Fortaleza in rotation more often and longer than do some of the excellent recent posters in this thread. I like variety and do not need a large selection of GPs from a specific niche (e.g., minimum inches, height, skin shade, BMI, musculature). If you do, like most of my friends, that’s totally cool! I’d been with different physical types (except emaciated) over the past week here and only once failed to screen out someone who would not have great chemistry behind closed doors. I find more than enough here who are personally warm and physically hot who aim to please and do. Outside of the sauna, I really enjoy the city, especially the Praia do Meireles area. It is maybe my favorite urban beach in Brazil. In sharp contrast to Rio, it is not crowded and not loud. The beach cafes play music softly, not deafening as on Copacabana. Even the people seem more sedate and tranquil than the RIo mobs. I can walk for hours without anybody asking for money or selling things. Overall, it is far more peaceful and chill. Rio will always be special, but I like the calm of the Meireles urban beach. And if the surf does indeed release all those calming ions, as many claim, the setting here gives those ions a chance to work their relaxing magic.

    Fortaleza

Today, Dec 24, both California and Dragon were closed. So, after a long walk along the peaceful Praia do Meireles, I went to see if anything was happening at Cine Vídeo Star. Once again three GPs (different from the three last week) were in residence at about 3:30. None were payment-worthy to me but all three seemed like sweet, healthy guys, affectionate even, unlike the rough, dicey characters who sometimes work such places. I started to leave and in walked a handsome, fit, 6'1", stunner I'd seen at California. He flashed a sexy smile. He knew he'd be the king of the hill, so he hugged me, and took my hand to go to a little room where he could lock the door. He stripped and enthusiastic hijinks ensued. Later, since I was in the neighborhood, I stopped by nearby Cine Arena (see my post above). Only one man (early 30s, not bad looking) was there. He wanted to play, but I thought he might be a GP and I hate unexpected bills. He was not, so free hijinks ensued. Nice afternoon, following by a two-hour walk back to my hotel by the Praia do Meireles. Love Fortaleza. Onward to São Paulo tomorrow.
  3. Thanks for the valuable update! I visited Vitória two decades ago and was not impressed, but you have put it back on my radar. Were your days weekdays or weekend at Sauna Tempu when there were few GPs?

    Fortaleza

Buttercawan made me want to investigate Fortaleza’s Video Star, and, while I was at it, other nearby cinemas. So, last Thursday afternoon, I explored the hard-core, cruisy cinemas mostly clustered just south of Centro, the old business district. For some reason, Fortaleza seems to have more such cinemas (9) than I can find (using Google) in either Rio or SP. All are cheap and about as seedy as you would expect. Curiously, they all have the narrowest turnstiles I’ve ever seen in my life. Turning sideways, I managed to squeeze through. Video Star was indeed the best or least bad. (Entrada=R$15) It has a large movie room and two smaller ones, along with a labyrinth and a few dark rooms. About 12-15 men. Three GPs were hustling. None were from saunas. Two were OK. Played around with one for five min (R$50). Two months ago Buttercawan also saw three GPs, but described them all as hot. When I visited, I’d not describe any of my three as hot, but two were OK. Cine Arena (R$10) might be wild when people get off work, although at 2:30 it only had three customers and no GPs. It’s very dark with many cubicles and little rooms with videos, including a big upstairs area that is easy to miss. If I were to return after 5:30 another day, out of curiosity I might check out Arena along with Video Star (three short blocks away). Cine Privê (R$8) was hidden away in a nook offset from the sidewalk. You enter a room showing regular TV shows. An inconspicuous door hides the entrance to the maze of video rooms. Only one older guy was lurking around, not counting me. I’m guessing this place also has much more action later in the day. Going downscale even more… Cine Iris (R$7) had three small, old video rooms down a hallway behind a narrow entrance off the street. Four pensioners were loitering around. In one room, a skinny, shirtless, pockmarked guy stroked with his pants down to his knees, waiting to be serviced. (GP? IDK) Rooms were fairly open-air which reduced the stench. At Cine Secret (R$10) I descended into the worst of all: two filthy, claustrophobic rooms reeking of urine were each inhabited by a quite frightening, morbidly obese bloke. I cannot tell you if they were twins because I ran out for fresh air. Sadly, trauma counseling was not included in the entrance fee. Cine Majestick was permanently closed, but, after Cine Secret, I had hit my limit, really needed a shower, and fled without investigating Cine House, VIP Cine Club, or Cine Janga. Thermas Califórnia will be closed tomorrow (Dec 24). Not sure about Dragon. So I may return to Video Star.
  5. I don't ask. I like the adventure of seeing where it goes. And, after some foreplay, I love it when moving my hand toward the crevice prompts a low moan. Bingo. I get that green light about half the time.
  6. Speaking of rates, this is an even better than usual time to come to Brazil! With Brazil's soaring deficit, the real is down to its lowest level against the dollar since its introduction in 1994. https://tradingeconomics.com/brazil/currency https://www.wsj.com/world/americas/currency-tailspin-forces-brazils-leader-to-do-the-unthinkable-cut-spending-05a10d9a?st=BuMrPe
  7. Long post was worth reading if for no other reason than to roar laughing at your brilliant description of a section of Leblon beach as the "gay rookery." 🤣
  8. True, Buttercawan, but I'm reading that with Google Maps Offline: "Transit, bicycling, or walking directions are unavailable offline." https://support.google.com/maps/answer/6291838?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid
  9. No need for screenshots. Using Wi-Fi, download maps.me and then download the maps for Brazil. Then when you are out and about, maps.me uses your phone's GPS signal and will navigate you smoothly -- without you needing to turn on mobile data.
  10. I've been pleased with Airalo, one of the first and one of the largest eSIM providers. The current options for Brazil are limited to 30 days. I usually stay longer and get Airalo's global option (136 countries, 20 GB) for one year, coincidentally priced at $69.
  11. Thanks for the tips guys. Unexpectedly, I never went to the sauna. After some online searching, I managed to track down a local lawyer who I met at the sauna in 2004. In 2005, we went to glorious Fernando de Noronha together. And in 2006, I joined him for Recife's fantastic immersive Carnaval. Alas, lost tract. But the wild reunion exceeded all expectations. Never made it to the sauna. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    GP rates ?

Yes, online it's a whole other world with lots of unknowns, risks, and gambling involved. I'll leave that area to those with more expertise.

    GP rates ?

Seem to be three styles at Lagoa: (1) Negotiate for the lowest price possible. Insist on 100 or 150. For them, sex is better if they can be proud they got a bargain. (2) Say (without asking!) 200 -- and 19 out of 20 will accept. For them, this smooth process is more relaxing and seems less commercial. Quick and easy. At the current great exchange rate, why quibble over 50 reals? (3) Ask the GP! Given this opportunity, many GPs will of course try for more than 200. So these clients now either have to make the GP lose face and bargain them down to accept less -- or pay the higher asking price. I don't see any advantages in this approach but apparently many clients use it.
  14. And the mocking begins. 😥 But, hey, I may try it if I get desperate.

    Fortaleza

Thanks for the Fortaleza update. I'll be there December 14-24 and now I'm eager to try Dragon since you (and previously CGNfunguy1992) say it has more action these days -- as well as return to California, rundown as it may be.
  16. Thanks for the Recife report. At the risk of ridicule, let me ask a remedial question: How did you identify the GPs at Thermas Boa Vista? When I visited on a crowded Saturday night last June, the place was packed with handsome guys in their 20s and 30s aggressively cruising each other, along with some older guys, most trying to get lucky with a castoff younger guy. For my first time ever, I could never crack the code to find even one GP. 😬 Maybe only a few GPs that night and they were all taken? I have to rule out my fantasy explanation that they could not imagine that I would be paying. Is there a corner of the facility where the GPs tend to hang out?
  17. Awesome. Can you please post about your tips and experiences in places rarely discussed here? I have posted about a few less common (third-tier) destinations, such as Campo Grande and Goiânia, as well as second-tier cities (e.g., Fortaleza, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre). But it would be great if you can offer insights into places like Maceió, Aracaju, São Luís, Barreirinhas, Jericoacoara, Teresina, Belém!
  18. Yes, 117 closes on Monday. So the party moves to 202 which has no competition that night. This past Monday 202 had a fairly good crowd, although not many stunning GPs.
  19. Wow PAULEIRO, more epic informative posts❗ Many thanks ❗ You get more reconnaissance done in a week than I do in a month. After your posts about FCK Party, I wanted to click 😱. Administrators here need to add that option! Sad, confused, and haha did not do it. Needed 😱 And FCK Party has a "Fisting Station"!? Had to laugh thinking about the omelette stations at brunch.

    Lagoa

Pixu seems to be a newbie and he asked about the two GP saunas. If he is indeed new to SP, I think Lagoa is the easiest and safest venue (and with clean beds). But sure, he can search for those other places too.
