My recent trips to sauna 117 have been a mixed bag. While I used to rave about the place, my experiences this time around were less than stellar. I visited five times, but even on a Tuesday (supposedly their less busy night), the quality wasn't what it used to be. The biggest difference? The guys. While previously I found a plethora of attractive men, this time, the selection felt limited and less diverse. Many seemed older, and the overall attractiveness had diminished. When I visited 117 for the first time (long time ago), I wondered why anyone would go there if they had access to Thermas in Barcelona, considering the cost isn't substantially less when you include the suite fee. Adjusting for the trip cost, it can add up even more. Some members explained that the quality of the boys is different. I agreed because the quality was much better than Thermas. Unfortunately, that can't be said now. The guys who go to 117 nowadays are somewhat okay or good-looking but not like the ones I used to die for. Tuesdays at 117 these days still have better quality than Thermas weekend but not by a large margin it used to have. Back in the day, I always felt like a kid in a candy store: "Oh my god, I want to get this guy for sure!" Nowadays, it's more like, "Okay, good-looking and sexy, but should I get this guy? Or maybe that one is better? No, he has an ugly face," etc. I realized I had a lot less excitement when I walked around the sauna these days. What I miss the most is that there used to be multiple good-looking guys in a night: tall and nicely built, and easy to interact with. At least a half of them gave me an amazing experience in the suite. Except for one or two cases, most guys were giving me 100 BRL as their initial price in the sauna back then. What's more interesting is that those sexy guys were interested in coming to my hotel regularly for a little more, so I guess I wasn't underpaying, even though I used to wonder how they could come again and again for such a low price. I wasn't (and still am not) a very demanding customer overall, as long as the guy can kiss well and get hard so that might be the reason they wanted regular with them. Anyway, some fond memories. Back to this trip. The first thing I noticed was the lack of diversity in the pool in terms of skin tones, (sizes,) and looks. Yes, some muscled guys are there, some tall and a few skinny, but if I were to summarize them by two keywords: tanned and hung. The differences are in body shape and face. In my book, Brazilians are not the best-looking ones when it comes to face, but overall, I felt like the guys got uglier and older compared to before. For me, I was able to get similar guys in the dark room quite easily, so I was not very willing to pay high prices in the sauna. If you like tanned, hung guys, I think 117 is still a good place to go. Maybe...maybe not. Maybe not because I did have a bit of difficulty interacting with the boys. My first guy said he wanted 500 BRL, but he did say it is full service; I guess he meant finishing off. Either way, I didn't like it, so I said no. He didn't even try to negotiate, so I thought maybe he is getting that kind of rate from others. Look-wise, he was not tall, not that handsome in my opinion, but this is hugely subjective. He didn't have the best body either, so the only explanation is that he thinks I am a stupid tourist and played with me. Either way, it was not really important as I didn't feel like missing out by putting him on my "virtual block list." I do it from time to time when I am annoyed 😂. I don't talk to them again once they are on the list. The second guy was Emanuel, a tall, fit guy. He had been smiling at me all the time and touching me when he passed by, so I talked to him. His tool might be too big for me, but I didn't mind just having soft fun, so I told him so. He said he wants 300 BRL, and I said I am happy to pay 200 BRL, but he said, "Oh, I usually charge 500 BRL, but because you want only vanilla sex, I give you a discount at 300 BRL." I knew this was a BS. I didn't feel the urge, so I said, "Enjoy the night." I see he can get busy, so I was not going to hassle with his valuable time, but I didn't put him on my block list 😂. This was before New Year's. We didn't talk even though we ran into each other a couple of times. But I did pay attention to his activities, just out of curiosity and boredom in the sauna. He seems to target tourists exclusively, even though he has zero English. Always on translator 😂. He did have a couple of customers before New Year's, but after New Year's, it seemed like it slowed down, and he was smiling and winking at me again, but he didn't talk to me, except just come and stand next to me. Either way, I didn't want to go over the stupid price discussion again unless he came to me and said let's go for 200 I proposed, so I didn't initiate the conversation again either. So nothing really happened. I also saw some canadaian touriests payed 300 BRL, but the guy he hired didn't accept it and started arguing. Not sure what the issue was, but it was funny because he paid the hefty price as a clueless tourist, yet he got himself in more trouble. These things do not leave a good impression on visitors, which can be the reason why some might not be very tempted to come back again. Another was Rafael, a straight top introduced to me by Buttercan, who kindly helped me with a lot of information during this visit. I planned to hire him later in the day, but he got busy, and I left a bit early after my first hire. The next time he came to the sauna, I was about to leave for a meeting. It wasn't a good day because the options were limited, but I came prepared and was fasting, so I was quite hungry, which makes me easily annoyed. Instead of leaving empty-handed, I thought I could try him out and have at least one regular hire if I liked him. My reservation was that he was straight and didn't kiss passionately, but the only way to know was to hire him. He said he wanted to have a session after 30 minutes, but I was in a rush to leave, so I said now or next time. He agreed to now. As usual, I asked him how much he wanted, and he said 300 BRL. This was a bit of a turn-off because I could get a much better deal by hiring someone online, considering I would be paying the suite cost and was in a rush. Those thoughts crossed my mind, and I said sorry, no. I left for the locker, but he asked again if I wanted or not when I was in the locker right after that discussion, and I said sorry, no. I mean, I did say no upstairs, why ask again? Maybe he wanted to update his price, but he didn't say so, just asked if I wanted or not. Anyway, he never talked to me again after that, even though we ran into each other multiple times in my subsequent visits to 117. I could see he actively avoided eye contact with me 😂. What gives? It didn't work out mostly because he wanted to play a game, which didn't work out, but come on. Even when I don't hire, other escorts do not give an unpleasant face in the sauna. I find it a bit childish. Anyway, on a busy Tuesday after New Year's, I noticed he didn't have any clients until 10:20PM when I left. I guess that is also karma... But I did hire some gps this time, mostly a bit reluctantly because I wanted someone hotter in sauna yet I am happy to pay 200 even just trying out just because it is still relatively cheap. I mean I paid so much money to come here, so I needed to hire...A few experiences that I had were just ok. One was just struggling to get fully hard but he did have a nice attitude and was trying hard, so I was not bothered. Another one was not really a good match in sex. They both wanted to repeat but no point in repeating not so great experiences. If you remember my first encounter at 117, who was virtually blocked by me, he came to me again after New Year's and started touching and kissing me. This time, I was a bit mean; I probably shouldn't have been. I said, "You thought I was a stupid tourist," and he said no. I replied, "That's why you wanted 500 from me last time." He didn't respond but kept kissing and touching me. Well, this guy has some balls...at least he doesn't have a big ego like some other GPs here. I still didn't want to hire him or renegotiate the rates because he wasn't that sexy but he was part of the reason why I didn't enjoy the sauna experience this time so I guess I said something mean to him. When I visited during the busy Christmas and New Year's time many years ago, I didn't have this much hassle from the GPs. Maybe I'm missing some reason why they try to charge a lot more now compared to the past, but as I showed in the beginning, the rates should not be higher than 200 BRL even if we swallow the exchange rate or inflation arguments. So, I do believe that the GPs are getting a better deal, but the quality has declined significantly, and I had to go through stupid price negotiations all the time now. Ultimately, my recent trips to 117 confirmed my suspicions that the sauna's quality has declined. The prices have increased, while the quality of the men has decreased. While some attractive men remain, the overall experience is no longer what it once was. I'm left with a sense of closure, accepting that 117 is no longer the same place it used to be.

RIO 202 My first visit was at point 202 during the pre-Christmas days. I arrived around 4:30 PM, which was too early, and it was empty. I didn't realize it starts later these days. Anyway, the first boy I liked was Bruno, a short guy with paler skin. His tool was too thick for me, and I had no interest in topping him for money, but I asked for his price for my market study. He quoted 200 BRL with a question mark on the translator, so I assumed he was willing to negotiate. I wasn't planning to engage with him right away but thought I might hire him later. To my surprise, I saw the same Matheus from São Paulo show up later at night, but he didn't greet me, so I wasn't bothered to talk to him again. I followed his movements in the sauna all night out of boredom since I was just sitting around and checking everyone. He didn't get any customers that night, and we left around the same time. I saw him five times overall during this trip. If he had impressed me in São Paulo, he could have earned 750-1000 BRL from me, but I guess everyone has their own way of doing business. I felt like he could have been smarter with his approach to clients, but who am I to judge? I left a sauna again without hiring and I was not happy about it because I prepared myself to bottom and it is quite annoying if I prepare for nothing.... overall I visited 202 five times during this trip including two on Wednesday, free suites day when it gets packed. I hired only one guy simply because he just teased me so much in the steam room by kissing and licking me and letting me touch his ass and dick. He had a nice body, not the best face but given his kissing skill I was happy to reward him. He wanted 200 and I said ok because for his effort it sounded reasonable. He actually even came and I didn't ask for it. But he was happy and thanked me and kissed me nicely when I paid. No fuzz about cumming/finishing etc. I was a bit surprised because it was relatively early in the evening... In terms of the boys, I knew 202 didn't have the boys I like. Lagoa in SP: This was the first sauna I visited in Brazil on this trip, so I wanted to get a sense of the price range. Based on inflation data, 100 BRL in 2017 equates to 146 BRL in 2024. Alternatively, 100 BRL was about 30 USD in 2017, which translates to around 180 BRL today. I estimated the current rate to be between 150–180 BRL, but I knew it wouldn’t be that simple, so I asked around first. 😂 My first conversation was more of a market study than an actual hiring attempt. The guy approached me first—above average for the day but not my type. He quoted 200 BRL, I thanked him and walked away, but he kept chasing me down. That made me assume the rate was lower, probably around 150 BRL. The second guy, Matheus or something, was someone I was actually interested in hiring. Curly hair, toned but not overly muscular, tight body, nice ass—average height and size. He also quoted 200 BRL, and assuming the rate was lower, I politely declined, expecting some negotiation. He simply said “okay” and left. No big deal, as he wasn’t exactly my ideal type. Later, I found out he charges 250 BRL online for full service in São Paulo, which suggests he had inflated his rate for the sauna. Given the suite fee, hiring him online might have been a better deal. There were no other interesting options, so I left. As for the setting, the place had endless stairs, and the sauna's shower was right next to the bar, fully visible to everyone. I hated both aspects. Given that most clients here seem older, did they really not consider how impractical all those stairs would be?

If you want to hire probably hunqz is your best bet but it is really tiring to hire from online sites. Also, Paris is one of the most expensive places to hire in Europe, very close to the cost of London these days. Bringing guys to hotel should not be a problem in terms of safety if you are staying in a good hotel with security officers. You can just call the security and they will work for you. And there is no sauna with rent boys I know of.

What do you want to know? I have been to both in the last 6 months. Lagoa is not what it used to be but I guess you know that unless your 8 times were in a distant past. I don't find the guys there as attractive as before, actually struggled to find a guy who can be good: nice body, decent face. Also the price is not set so you have to negotiate and unless you are a regular there, I find the guys at Lagoa can be a bit difficult but I don't like price haggling so I might be biased. But I remember the guys were so sexy yet quite easy to deal with precovid but in my recent trip I really struggled with the guys there. Because you have to pay for the room at Lagoa the overall price per hire gets very close to 50 euro including the room cost. I don't find the guys there to be far better than guys at thermas in Barcelona so overall there is no cost or beauty advantage for Lagoa. Guys at thermas could be as sexy as Lagoa on weekend or Wednesday, but it also has slightly more diverse crowd: some other Latinos like many Colombians these days and one Spanish is almost always guaranteed these days ( he is really good!) and some Africans as well. I rarely see eastern Europeans anymore. But all charge 50e without discussion or if you just insist everyone will do it for 50e. A lot easier for someone like me who doesn't like to negotiate. On the other hand, hotels in Barcelona are insanely expensive these days compared to hotels in Brazil. So there is that. For me, flying into Barcelona is quite cheap compared to Brazil so overall Barcelona works out quite well for me. I rarely hire from Internet in Barcelona but I find the online guys in SP are just on their own league in terms of looks and quite reasonably priced if you ask them via local Whatsapp number. You know those 10/10 guys who used to frequent saunas are mostly online and easy to hire in SP. They are just stunning. When I hired them in December to January this year, many would ask only 300 reas, and some 400 but quite a few for 200-250 reas as well. Note that the price is not related to their look, not to mention the quality of the deed is completely unrelated to the price they charge from my experience. But you won't find these amazing looking guys in thermas or Barcelona. Barcelona is a lot safer and you don't have to worry about your safety but I can't say the same for SP. For visitors like us, Barcelona or Spain gives a lot more protection than Brazil because most escorts in Spain are outsides who cannot afford to be involved with police so they don't do anything sketchy. But you never know what happens when you hire someone from online in SP. There is always some risk. Finally I find Brazil to be a very interesting place for parties. They have some crazy events, like the ones discussed in this forum where anyone can play with the guest boys without paying additionally. online hiring is not bad if you are willing to go through the whole list because there are so many and you don't know the quality until you meet because some might use their best or modified photos. I do think that Brazil is one of the most welcoming or tolerating countries, if not the most, in the world when it comes to the age difference in relationship.
