OZ, I respectfully commend you on your decision to keep the thread open. Its ridiculous and ludicrous for people to ask to censor a thread simply because they dont like or agree with whats being said. I have always respected the openness of this site to allow people to speak their minds. I realize people like ME can sometimes push the limits, but its only because we are passionate about the things we discuss. As for my opinion of Daddys situation, well we all know I have bad history there, so I have no interest or compassion for Daddy or his problems. Hello RfromKC, Just a simple observation, websites reflect REAL LIFE. Not everything in REAL LIFE is good or positive. There are bad and negative things too. So, as much as one may think that participating in a website is a kind of "escapism", it is NOT. You will find the same balance of Pro and Con and the same mix of people and personalities. And I am fine with that, in fact I prefer that, since is shows a sense of Realism. Not every person is kind, polite or politically correct, but all I can ask from people is that they be "who they are", and then I decide to either "take it or leave it".... The other site never had that sort of Dynamic. If you said something that wasnt "popular" with the members, or favored by the Mods, you were either Banned from the site, or your comment or thread locked or deleted. What the hell is that ? Censorship at its worst ! Sorry you are disappointed by some of the behavior here, but let's face it, at least it's REAL and honest !
