If there's ONE lesson that should have been learned by DEMS is that they should NEVER, I mean NEVER trust the Republicans on ANYTHING anymore, especially if its a "promise"...... Will they revisit the ACA subsidies later ? I truly DOUBT it..... Its clearly Trumps goal to make average americans lives as difficult and unbearable as he can.... He clearly loves the cruelty of it all, and gloats over the disparity of the classes by rubbing HIS extravagance and excess in the peoples faces.... While I was hoping the special elections would have given Dems the spines they need to be an effective "opposition" party, sadly I think I was WRONG ! What America needs is to wipe the slate CLEAN of BOTH parties and just start over from scratch, with people that UNDERSTAND the assignment and CAN deliver. .

Ed Martin, a Justice Department attorney whose focus is pardons, posted what appeared to be the pardons document on social media, which was later confirmed by the White House. In addition to these alleged false electors, others granted pardons include former Trump personal lawyer and one-time close Trump adviser Rudy Giuliani and Mark Meadows, Mr. Trump's chief of staff from March 2020 to January 2021. More than 70 people are named in the document as receiving pardons. Electors are part of the 538-member Electoral College that officially elects presidents. In 48 states, they vote for the candidate who won a state's popular vote; elector votes in Maine and Nebraska are awarded based on congressional district and statewide results. The pardon document, dated Nov. 7, starts out by saying it "ends a grave national injustice perpetrated upon the American people following the 2020 Presidential Election and continues the process of national reconciliation." We have seen countless times in Politics that most politicians often make "promises" that sound too good to be true simply to get elected, and when they do, the things they promised prove undoable, probably because they were from the start. Its the "fake it till you make it" syndrome. The rent freeze, Free buses and universal childcare ALL sound unrealistic for NYC, but voters decided to give "new blood and ideas" a chance.... The worst that can happen is that they wont come to fruition and voters will REMEMBER...... YES Trump will be vengeful and vindictive and deny Mandani funding, but from his acceptance speech he appears to be a guy thats NOT afraid and Trump and is up to the challenge of fighting him for New Yorkers.... I am wishing him luck, as I was a fan from the moment he came on the scene... EVERYONE deserves a chance to prove nay sayers wrong !

Lets just hope and pray voters memories last the duration of Trump, since Trump will continue to be himself, but Americans tend to get weary and disengaged once they become used to Trumps shit..... They created a message YEARS ago, and havent strayed from their message or goals, which seemed to work for them except for the 2020 blip. It was just REFRESHING "not" to hear any HATE being spewed by the winners in any of yesterdays races, as Americans have sadly gotten used to HATE and vitriol being spewed from GOP winner pulpits since the rise of Trump.... Fan the hate, count the vote.....THAT should be the GOP slogan. I am NOT packing up my "worry beads" anal beads.....its much too soon for that, and although a little WIN never hurt nobody, its NOT the end of the fight..... Remember, we have 3+ years MORE of Trump insanity.
