YES, grandma has been on BP and cholesterol medication for more years than she can remember, and YES it has affected the ability to obtain erection. However, I am 64, and have now found that although I can no longer get HARD on a daily basis, if I wait a few days, I can get rock hard and function normally for that session. My docs say thats the normal effects of the medication and AGE, and I should use Viagra etc, however Viagra on a daily basis is cost prohibitive. He did recommend Slidenafil, generic Viagra, which I did a whole thread about many months ago. It still causes the after effect Headache, but at least it only cost about $5 and not $40 a pop.

Those sorts of scenarios used to bother me alot. I dreaded having to call my maintenance people because it meant having to jump thru hoops to PREPARE my apt for the visit, hiding ALL the things I thought would make them "judge" me. But then I realized those feelings of fear and dread were akin to being in the closet, and Grandma is proud to have exploded out of the closet years ago. Of course with family, its another story if you have not come out to them and desire to remain as such... I certainly am no longer MORTIFIED over such things..... Its not my problem, its really theirs if it bothers them.
