Your long dissertation, titled LAMD Reflections, only applies to Latin America Men Destinations? Just curious.

You are relatively new and you have contributed a lot of interesting material to the forum. I and many other forum users appreciate that fact and enjoy reading your material. Now that you have been here a while, you are seeing the beginning of some of the bitchy people come out of their quarters. Stick around a while, there will be several. It is nothing personal about you, quite simply, some people get jealous of popular posters like you are becoming and they want to discourage you from posting. Please don't abandon the forum like so many others have because of the nastiness shown by a handful of forum members. You are a true asset, a good and interesting writer and are appreciated more than is expressed to you.

And you did nothing to cause the snapping, right?
-
No, he does not think he is in charge of your thoughts. Quite simply, we could not understand why you repeatedly posted incorrect information about the name and address of the facility that I recommended for visitors to Sao Paulo. Immediately after I posted about the facility, you posted a photo of a truck supposedly driving past the internet shop that I mentioned. However, the truck you showed was not driving past the correct location. In your post, you also gave an incorrect name of the internet shop that I mentioned in my post. The issue is now solved. Readers should disregard your input concerning the internet facility and rely on the latest post by SolaceSoul as the correct name and address for the facility. Please let this matter of the internet facility end at this point. Readers now have the correct name and address of the internet shop that I described. There is no need for further clarification or more confusion. Thank you.

Good for you to remove the confusion over where the place is located. Much obliged

If it will not open, the address is 740 Aurora (or that general area) signs on building will say internet. The earlier post that shows a truck is wrong. That is not the correct place - That post only adds confusion to finding the correct place. Therefore, ignore the post that shows the truck. If the above link will not open, try to find a map of the area - use 740 or 772 Rua Aurora - Centro in your search The goal is to find the shop that has a hanging sign that says "internet"
-
I assume that your post is meant to represent where the internet shop I described is located. The photo shows an address on Viera Carvalho. The intenet shop I described in my post is located on Rua Aurora - near the corner of Aurora and Viera Carvalho. The photo, with the truck blocking the view, does not look like the correct place I described. Furthermore, the internet shop that I described is not as close to Viera Carvalho as is shown in the photo. Maybe you can find a different photo of an internet shop in the area described with the correct street name showing.

I particularly agree with the above portion of the post. Although the area described in the post is "rough" I enjoy being there on occasion. Most people would consider the area unsafe but I do not. I have never had a problem in that area and I have been there many times over the years. At the same time, I am usually cautious and seem to have a "sixth sense" for danger, but I never sensed or experienced any danger in this area. Every now and again, it is possible to find a "jewel" of a garoto in the area. I have met many. The specific place to likely find good looking and friendly garotos is in an internet shop located near the corner of Rua Aurora and Av Vieira de Carvalho only about one block from the park in centro (Praca de Republica). The entrance fee is a few reais, I don't recall but I think it is about one or two equivalent U.S. dollars. The shop really does rent computers by the hour. However, if you walk around the shop, you will not see any women using computers. Instead, you will find many handsome garotos sitting back at a computer with his trousers pulled down and masturbating. The garotos are hustlers. If you strike up a conversation with a garoto, there are small rooms that can be used for entertaining the garoto (hustler) or you can take the garoto to one of the dozens of hourly hotels in the area. So, if any reader gets tired of Rio or wants a break from Rio, Sao Paulo has Lagoa, many attractions and, of course, this little internet shop wherein, it is possible to find a fun garoto. One more thing, the internet shop is busiest during the day, like early afternoons and early evenings.

Thank you for your report which agrees with some of my earlier posts reporting about that awful place. You did not mention that the "sauna" is also a hotel. Was that omission intentional? I cannot imagine how anyone could actually sleep in that "hotel" or feel safe to leave their luggage. Apparently, many people do use it as a hotel. Not long ago, there were a few posts on this forum recommending this place. I tried not to be too critical about the place in my warnings to avoid it. Your report mirrors my reaction to the place and I wish I had been more blunt when I described my reaction to my one visit there. I won't be returning to that dump.

Where does it say this is a nostalgic thread about the 60s? To show what someone looks like now and also show what they looked like in the 60's is, according to you - "bitterly out of topic" According to whom? In life - people change both in maturity and in looks. Dictionary definition of: bit·ter·ly ˈbidərlē/ adverb 1. in an angry, hurt, or resentful way. "passengers complained bitterly about grand promises made by the company. ______________________________________________________ Where is the anger? Where is the hurt? Where is the resentment? Nope, check again. The comparison was to show what happens to even beautiful people over time. NAUGHTY, NAUGHTY!

What's Rio like in May? Help needed by first timer
mvan1 replied to Tomasian's topic in Latin America Men and Destinations
A newbie who knows nothing about the transit system should take a bus from the Rio airport at one or two o'clock in the morning? You have got to be kidding! -
Good for you to cancel on someone who has unreasonable demands in a sauna.

The film does not yet have a release date except for Germany in May. http://www.comingsoon.net/movie/the-happy-prince-2018 -
I understand - thanks

"Ripped off" Where does that come from? Imported cars into Brazil have a 100% import tax. That tax applies to everyone. Computing the tax together with the exchange rate, I think Rodolfo did quite well with the automobile purchase despite his getting the money to buy the car from us, his over charged customers.

His career? He has not practiced medicine in at least two decades.

Zürich, Viena, Budapest, or Bucharest?
mvan1 replied to Walker's topic in European Men and Destinations
Sorry, the places you mentioned in your question are no longer fun places for gays. You left off one of the few remaining European cities where a gay can have unrestricted gay fun - that place is Barcelona. Not only that, the weather there is usually fairly nice. Zurich is over ridden with dishonest Romanians and lady boys from Thailand, Cambodia and close by areas. There are some occasional nice Brazilians in the sauna and/or on line. Vienna has become a desert for finding guys (except for conniving and dishonest Romanians). Budapest is not friendly to foreigners, especially since the Hungarian election twelve days ago whereby a Trump like bigot won their election - see this - (fits Trump to a "T") https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hungarian_parliamentary_election,_2018 Read some of the comments shown in the above citation - here is just one of them: "the result will give very strong legitimacy to Fidesz & strengthen Orban's resolve that hatemongering works. That's a race to the bottom." In short, foreigners are not welcome by the winning party in Hungary. Sorry to cause you concern about your choice of location for your vacation. You might want to check to see how much the airline charges as a penalty to change your itinerary. You can see from reading this forum, Brazil seems to be a place where most, if not all, can have a grand time. I completely agree that you would have a great time in Brazil under normal circumstances. If Brazil is not an option for you, you did mention Istanbul as a stop over if you choose. It has been a while since I visited Istanbul. If I recall, there were some interesting saunas there where there was a lot of action but those who participated pretended they were not gay. The city was not clean. My most enjoyable thing I did was have lunch on a boat while it went down the Bosphorus but that would not satisfy a vacation. Bucharest was already mentioned by another poster. Good luck -
How else do you suppose Rodolfo can afford his R$550,000+ BMW? He shows it off to anyone who shows an interest. You and I and others are paying for it - like it or not.

I agree, assembly line sex can never be a good as the first one of the day or evening. Several years ago at Lagoa, Rodolfo came across two guys (a garoto and a client) having sex in the pool near the television. Rodolfo screamed at them and said they should do what they were doing in a room. He shouted they were cheating him out of the price of a room. Rodolfo then called over several large and strong garotos and told the garotos to grab the guys from the pool and drag them to the lockers to change and then have them expelled from the sauna. When I witnessed that show I thought that Rodolfo had over reacted. All that fuss and drama over a thirty reais room! On the other hand, the water could have been contaminated from the behavior done in the pool. Such funny things we see in Brazil!
