  1. If it was just about money they'd allow breast feeding pics since tons of new moms want to post them. It's about facebook being run by a bunch of asshole straight white males.
  2. It's not bragging to say my cell phone has a small screen!
  3. This is really getting scary here. Marianne Le Pen, who heads the most right wing party in France has gotten a lot of political traction by being vocally against same sex marriage. In fact, even though her group openly says that French citizens of Arab descent should be expelled from France, she now has the support of the majority of Arab voters because of this issue.
  4. Given that the page says that gays "like shit" and says "choose your orientation wisely" because if you don't your family will be right to "shun" and "disinherit you" and "familia exile" it is hard for me to believe Facebook responded to you like that.
  5. I've never been to Brazil - do many of the clubs suffer from overcrowding and not enough exits?

  7. They are now saying the club was more than 1,000 people over capacity.
  8. I think I could make it work on the Gateway.
  9. iPhones screens aren't particularly wide.
  10. Simply beautiful. http://curiouseggs.com/extremely-rare-color-photography-of-early-1900s-paris/
  11. 1 to 5 would work better than 1 to 10 overall.
  12. I can think of a better way to get a facial cream....
  13. Most smartphones are far too small for that to work for me.
  14. Link when you want to. Anytime anyone posts anything on the web it's understood that other sites might link to it.
  15. I'm pretty sure this is a gay club (I seem to remember a friend talking about it) CNN - Breaking News Alert A fire swept through a nightclub in southern Brazil, killing at least 90 people early Sunday, officials said. The fire started around 2 a.m. at the Kiss nightclub in the city of Santa Maria. Firefighters were still pulling out bodies, and Col. Adilomar Silva, the regional coordinator of civil defense, expected the death toll to climb. Officials could not immediately say what caused the fire.
  16. Trip Advisor is totally skewed to ignore fake positive reviews because it drives revenue.
  17. Yes, average scores are more visable and easily to manipulate.
  18. I do general marketing for a lot of companies. Every so often one of them will as part of the general marketing campaign ask me to do reviews on Amazon, Yelp, TripAdvisor, etc... I have about a hundred dummy email addreses I can use to make it happen.
  19. When you institute numerical scores on any website it attracts people to do whatever they can to manipulate the scores. A guy with an axe to grind will create a dozen dummy accounts to lower an average, meanwhile the escort would get all his friends to create accounts to create a fake high average. That's how the Internet works.
  20. Personally I wanted Joss Weedon to direct the new Star Wars.
  21. I'm interested as well. A friend of mine got banned from facebook for making posts on their wall making fun of them - and I find it bizarre that Facebook leaves a hate community up but bans people who make fun of the hate community.
  22. I can't imagine being responsible for keeping both Star Wars and Star Trek fans happy.
  23. I'm pretty sure that the warnings are no longer going out.
  24. The Heterosexual Awareness Community. They regularly post pictures of AIDs victims, say that gays live in shit and similar awful stuff. I've reported them for hate speech and now you can too! http://www.facebook.com/HeteroAwarenessMonth?ref=ts&fref=ts
