Doesn't seem *much* smaller than the LA area bath houses! I've taken several guys to them when my place didn't work out, and you may just find somebody else to have fun with too...

Today's motivational cartoon for getting healthy
JKane replied to a topic in Health, Nutrition and Fitness
It's an "I'm going to hell" kind of cartoon, but seems apropos... -
Another sign about one of the first things that made me question Christianity... (The pastor's Cadillac.)

The MPAA backed down?! How is this not bigger news??? From Towle: 'Bully' To Be Rated PG-13 After weeks of activist activity and very public debate, the MPAA has reportedly assigned a PG-13 rating to the Weinstein Company's socially responsible new flick, Bully. Via MarketWatch: The Weinstein Company (TWC), aided by the guidance and consultation from attorneys David Boies and Ted Olson, announced today that the MPAA has lowered the R rating, given for some language, for BULLY to a PG-13 in time for the film's April 13th expansion to 55 markets. The scene that has been at the forefront of the battle with the MPAA, the intense scene in the film that shows teen Alex Libby being bullied and harassed on a bus, has been left fully intact and unedited. BULLY director Lee Hirsch felt editing the scene was not an option, and subsequently refused to do so, since it is too important to the truth and integrity behind the film. Also a victory is the exception the MPAA made by allowing the film to be released with the new rating before 90 days, which is the length of time their policy states a film must wait to be in theaters after a rating change to avoid confusion or inconvenience for moviegoers. I have yet to see a screener, but it's apparent that this is a movie everyone should see, particularly those with children, nieces, nephews, cousins or any other person who lives in today's increasingly harsh world. The move comes after Change.org helped collect over 500,000 signatures urging the MPAA to make the flick available to as many people as possible. Is it unusual for a straight man to frequent a gay bar? Dear Abby responds. . .
JKane replied to a topic in The Beer Bar
One thing I've noticed more and more lately is how few people understand (or have even heard of) the Kinsey scale. Very few people are entirely straight *or entirely gay*. -
At free publicity and creating good feelings about a company/person throughout the majority of the population... Microsoft, Apple Unite to Demand That the National Organization for Marriage Boycott Them Apple's spokesperson continued: Now we see that over 635,00 people have signed the "Thank you, Starbucks" card at Sum of Us . And then there's also MoveOn 's thank-you card, and Washington United for Marriage 's thank-you card. What does Apple have to do to get our own thank-you card? It isn't fair. Apple has a long history of standing up for marriage equality . Don't forget that our first logo had a rainbow in it, too! Now we're reading in the news reports how Starbuck's customers, like David Thompson of Pennsylvania, are saying things like, " It makes me more inclined to buy here, in spite of their high prices. " We want in on that action, too. We deserve it. The spokesman added, "People should remember why they need the free WiFi in Starbucks: for Grindr! And without Apple, Grindr wouldn't even exist. Even our CEO is gay! Just how gay does Apple have to be before the NOMbies fire up their hate cannon and aim it at us? Bring it on, already!" Ha!

Jon Stewart had a *great* bit last night about how hard it is for Republicans to endorse him.

Seems to me it's already been done, was quite good, and that given their lives after Gates is clearly the better man...

WHY were you surprised??? I TOLD YOU!!! Sheesh! I fully agree that 3D or IMAX aren't needed for this (though they were put to good use by John Carter!) and that the well-written subversive nature of it make it a MUST SEE. It's the closest I've seen to copying the qualities of V for Vendetta since it came out!

There's been more guys of late, but double not much is still not a large selection. And the selection is strangely skewed too, it's like all the black guys of the CL heyday found their way to Backpage but everybody else found a better way... still trying to figure out where they all went...

I always read the news Daddy aggregates, but had glossed over the Brooklyn College thing until now, just read it and took the survey, pretty interesting. Welcome to the International Client Survey. This is the largest and most comprehensive online survey of the Clients of escorts.

If Recall technology existed, would you? Movie looks pretty cool, but after the 'blue sky on Mars' bit blew my mind in the original I'm not sure how I'll be able to take this as anything but him experiencing the implanted memory...

It's like Craigslist all over again, complete with the huge emphasis on underage... Though I didn't think Backpage was that big of a success. In fact I'd still figure it quite possible that more people find prostitutes via CL to this day than in Backpage's actual forums for that purpose...

No MegaMillions Winner: New Jackpot at 476 Million Dollars
JKane replied to TotallyOz's topic in The Beer Bar
I dunno, I participate in a lotto pool all the time. The proper way to do it (though probably harder at McDonalds) is to copy the tickets in the pool and hand out copies that have all the entrants' names on them. Even being the one often organizing my office pool, if I did that, then got some tickets on my own (pref. purchased elsewhere) I'd feel NO obligation to give everybody else an equal share! I'd almost certainly give them something, but would make them sign something making clear they understand it's a one time gift and they agree that they have no claim to the winnings! Yes, I've spend too much time considering these things, especially given the 1:175M odds!
