I've been a bit surprised over the hubbub over this, I can't recall ever hearing of the case... I was young at the time, but I mean since, did it have some name or special notoriety, any films based on it?
-
That looks a lot more interesting than the last show named for Vegas, and I like Chiklis... interesting semi-western vibe too.

They should cover the whole range and have a poster of her other facial expression (lip biting)!

I can't wait for Abe Lincoln, and that trailer was great. A little disconcerted to see Tim Burton's name associated with it though...

I watched a couple minutes of the stunt casting with Lindsay Lohan, and most of the worst episode I've ever seen about a month ago... am done with SNL. In the unlikely event of a breakout hit I'm sure the clip will be posted here, so why sit through that?

Pride parade link is broken, this is the correct one. 11AM Sunday June 10th.

Saw something that with the epic (domestic) flop of Battleship he starred in the two worst-grossing movies of the summer! Not a great start to a career...

Congrats to our new forum overlord! -
For a very short while my strategy was to try to tie Expat in number of posts a day, but I couldn't keep up the pace!

I think Onion or somebody did a skit on that already.

I had the exact same experience trying to get through the original. Went from thinking I was fairly intelligent to wondering where my dunce cap was. But then I see what passes for entertainment these days on The Soup or hear a politician speak and I realize that while there are some *way* above me, there are so very many sadly below...

That is surprising! I thought Syfy only canceled good shows! ;o) While I'm surprised there are fans of Sanctuary I guess it may have gotten a lot better than the initial episodes. Syfy seems masterful at sticking with unwatchable crap but as soon as something finds it legs / starts to get great it's gone. Stargate Universe and this great final season of Eureka being perfect examples... -
Yeah, I really don't get how he could be found guilty of so many counts, some of them hate-induced and get fucking 30 days. 30 days are fine I guess--if you THEN DEPORT THE FUCKER!

Good luck! You might consider doing something semi-radical (like I did) for the initial weight loss (like medical supervision and Opti- or Medi- fast), you've already committed to going at least a month not eating the foods you enjoy, just say fuck it, there's nothing I can't do without eating for the next 6 weeks to 3 months and drink your meals from a box instead! The 5-10 pounds a week make it well worth it! And it's the easiest possible diet for a bachelor living alone! No cooking, no need to have any food in the house, let laziness work for you... "I have the mix/juicebox right here or I have to go out to get something bad for me..."! It wasn't even awkward to just have them for lunch at work, my co-workers understood and were very supportive. That gives you a huge jump and makes it much easier to exercise and also to *enjoy* food again--even in moderation. After that, 4-hour body/slow carb isn't quite the magic it's made out to be but is damn good maintenance / slow loss plan. Again, best of luck and all the encouragement in the world!

The more I think about Willard the more I think he's the one that deserves the name Slick Willy! He's a walking, glad-handing greaseball who's only core belief seems to be "money is good". Oh, and "I deserve to be President".

I keep telling myself maybe the dems aren't as ineffective with their advertising as it would appear, I just don't see any of it in this non-swing state... But I really have my doubts. Showing something like that in every incumbent republican's congressional district would be a great use of a SuperPAC...

Jane Lynch's 'Best New Thing' Is GOP Strategist's Gay Memo: VIDEO Jane Lynch filled in for Rachel Maddow during the MSNBC host's "Best New Thing In The World" segment last night. And the out actress was kind enough to bring along her own new thing suggestion: the memo from former Bush pollster Jan van Lohuizen advising Republicans to catch up on LGBT rights by presenting equality as a conservative value. According to Lynch, the memo has the potential to create some jobs, another conservative value, because strategists can now charge more money for their gay expertise. "There's money to be made on promoting gay rights within the Republican Party," she said. Someone is going to have to teach Republicans to talk about gay rights without seeming like they've caved to the Democrats. Some strategists are going to have to make it their specialty to teach Republicans how do be pro gay while still sounding angry. That's a very tall order, but the good news is, you can charge more money. Republicans are trying to figure out how to lose gracefully -- the best new thing in the world today. Lynch later tells Maddow that she's not sure Obama's equality proclamation will "change history," or whether there was "political calculus" involved, but "believes in the dignity of our relationships and our right to exist." And the actress also discusses the importance of being out and about with her family, Joe Biden's comment about Will and Grace changing American culture and had this to say about Mitt Romney's right-wing gay politics: "Even us talking together right now, he's probably against that." Maddow replied: "That's exactly right. It`s probably illegal somewhere, and he supports that state`s right to make it that way." Damn the guy in first video is hot, and the twist rocks!

Well, at least they provided the perfect counter-argument to *their* assertions they were in fact already over-regulated and nothing more was needed!!!

That's weird, my tastes are exactly opposite, he looks average/bland in the top pic to me, the second one shows something worth a second look!

Thanks for the advance warning! Now where did I put those earplugs?

Ok, I wonder if something is up with that list? Otherwise there's been a major change of heart at NBC because in addition to Parks and Rec I'd heard 30 Rock and Community were goners as well!
