More gay Star Trek for those interested...
-
Ah yes, Jennifer Love Hugetits. Grown a lot since Party of Five...
-
I think simple omission is not a lie, for example I don't tell friends/co-workers I'm gay but I also intend to answer truthfully if ever asked. But the fact that it is weighing heavily on you and you seem to feel guilty about it really speaks volumes. I think in this instance you already know the answer, but haven't yet admitted that you do!

Having an SSD drive as the main disk in a laptop--it works miracles. If you don't have one already consider upgrading eventually. Runs *much* faster, uses less power, boots instantly, virtually immune to shock/vibration. Highly recommended for anybody with a year or two old computer, it will feel brand new! But still have a backup... and don't carry it around in your laptop bag!
-
Now try using it outside in the daytime! Every ad that ever showed that should sued for false advertising. Another benefit to laptops is that it has a built-in battery backup. But remember to BACK UP YOUR DATA. The drives in laptops fail more often, the laptop is much more susceptible to damage/dropping or loss/theft. If it's Win7 the built in backup system is very good!

Saw a couple relevant pictures, still looking for other one.

Yeah, housewives of Disney was a great idea, could've been a lot funnier in execution. I don't watch much SNL but the fixed stare off camera *was* really bad last night.
-
Bombed really bad, whole show was a dud. Worst was the scared straight segment, with her as herself, how could that not be the least bit funny??? Much like the monolog but not in jest, the cast WAS propping her up the whole way through, she wasn't in many skits, meh. The Romney bit (sans Lohan, I believe) was the only thing that even amused me.

Plans for normal stuff I'm good with, but plans for naughty stuff kill me. My main problem with Rentboy-type guys is "I plan to be horny next Tuesday at 2PM". But, then again the alternative is wasting a day on CL dealing with flakes/etc...

I think Limbaugh got hit HARD in the wallet, people have been contacting his advertisers (places like Reddit listed them) and they have been leaving in *droves*. I understood it to be a co-pay system we're talking about, same as any other drug or visit under our healthcare system but the Repubs were trying to make it so any organization could refuse to pay their part of anything they claimed was 'morally objectionable'. Birth control today, emergency trauma surgery resulting in abortion tomorrow, etc... Funny thing is, I bet more than half the 'religious-based organizations' this bullshit is supposedly for wish it would die a quick and quiet death, because if they implement the restrictions it'll hinder them in hiring the best and brightest.

I've heard great things about Touch from a couple sources, may well watch that, or at least the pilot. Awake sounds interesting and Jason Isaacs is usually wonderful, but something about it just puts me off. Plus it feels like it's been coming out soon for a year and a half--never a good sign. And it's on the cursed network, even worse sign! Let me guess, he drives and raves about a Toyota in one world and a Hyundai in the other?

Almost as jarring as seeing his anti-corporate, pro-environmental skreed used to sell consumer crap!

I tend to use my Debit card nearly constantly, or at least I did, and between that and telephone/internet banking I never saw the need to keep a total manually, myself. I, of course, check the statements carefully, and am generally aware of my balance, so I know if there is fraud. When it's happened I haven't had much trouble at all getting those charges reversed. I think most of the people with horror stories on that front are BofA customers!

After many years of Windows Mobile I just recently took the plunge with a fairly powerful Android. Overall pleased, but wish it was as configurable.

Russia dropping fast in list of places I want to visit...
JKane replied to JKane's topic in The Beer Bar
Great video out of Russia on the St. Petersburg travesty. I wouldn't have felt so strongly about this before reading about the full effects of "don't say gay" type of BS in this amazing Rolling Stone article. -
Judge: Americans can be forced to decrypt their laptops
JKane replied to TotallyOz's topic in The Beer Bar
Story is back in the news, semi-good news at that: Constitutional showdown voided: Feds decrypt laptop without defendant’s help -
Heard it was a heart attack, which wasn't considered so unusual because he had a history of heart problems. No love for Breitbart, but why couldn't it be Rush? Or the brothers Koch?

Just saw this, had to save it to post in this thread...

This is great, good job Onion! Heartbroken Santorum Condemns Gay Marriage For Two-Timing Jerks Like Nick Wiseman An emotional Rick Santorum stepped up his anti-gay rhetoric this week, saying jerks like Philadelphia's Nicholas Wiseman should not be allowed to marry a man they barely know when there's someone out there who truly cares for them.

I agree with him a 100% but can't think of anybody less relevant to say it! There's a petition going around, hopefully it gets more and more signatures. MPAA's trying to justify their BS and pretend that R doesn't exclude vast numbers of kids from seeing it... Tens of Thousands Sign Petition Urging MPAA to Overturn 'Bully's' R Rating

Maybe a crapload of something is how he *broke* the arm?

I use a laptop, in bed mostly. Yes it's very portable, can use it anywhere, but it stays plugged in next to my bed most of the time. Watching torrents and derping around online, mostly, though sometimes I play games. It's pretty new and fast, but I've thought about building another desktop with the latest stuff a couple of times, mostly to play games. Likely would sit idle the vast majority of the time.

Which is why I think this is a hilarious idea!
