Saunas in São Paulo have a much more relaxed atmosphere, the boys more friendly. My Rio trip ended. Now closing the thread with a couple practical matters. For any future visitors who would like to stay at Hotel Monte Castelo, watch out for two things: 1. They charge a lot for using the phone in the room, especially if you call a cell number. I made one 10 min call to Epi's cell, I am assuming it's a local number, got charged 26 reais. 2. I book the stay for one person, to get Jose staying a night with me, they charged half of regular day price. Since I booked early, this is more than the nightly rate I paid for myself! Should have used the love hotel instead. At least there will be more privacy. I can actually hear neighbours fucking :-( Overall, hornet helps me find Jose who made the trip for me. MM is rather disappointing this trip. 117 is way better than my previous visits. Quite a few slim twinks, I didn't even get to try some of them since I only went there 3 times this trip. Having a local friend turns out to be a great experience. As I went to take shower, I noticed a new cute dark boy went into the steam room, would totally check him out if I haven't finished tonight. Walked around a little before leaving, there were more new faces since I went upstairs. Another dark boy is also quite interesting. Not a bad night. got a dinner party to go to tomorrow, I consider it the price to pay for two wonderful days with my paulista friend. probably can't hit sauna again until Sunday. Fragata is having a party on Sunday. So I likely won't get to Lagoa until next week. Wonder what I have missed.

São Paulo. Saw quite a few cute slim boys on the bus and metro from airport to hotel. I guess without beaches, boys here don't lift weights too excessively Had a late lunch, settled in, at 5:30, heading to Fragata since Tuesday is supposedly one of the good nights there according to São Paulo expert mvan1. Forgot to save the map on my ipod, got lost after getting off metro. Should have taken the bus instead. Finally found it at 6:15 after a lot of walking around, group of boys standing outside?! Turns out there was a power outage, only emergency lights were on inside the sauna. I guess it happened within the past hour, cause there were still a few people inside, a couple are checking out. This is a first, bummer. The tall white boy I had a session with last year was there, would totally do a repeat if the business is open. I feel a little uncomfortable checking out all the boys outside on the street, and I am too tired from all the walk around to hit Lagoa now. My best friend's ex is a paulista and happens to be home visiting his family for holidays. Before I can stop my friend when we were having dinner weeks ago, he msged his ex about my trip. Now his ex is a nice guy, but the excursions and dinners will cut into my sauna visits I will report when I manage to get to saunas again, meeting my friend's ex in the afternoon and going on a beach trip tomorrow. Maybe I can hit Lagoa tonight if I can get out of any dinner arrangement.

The area is pretty safe on weekdays, so crowded with people heading home. Fairly close to metro. Would be difficult catching taxi during after work rush hour though. Plus it will move very slowly with the traffic jam. I felt pretty safe in the club as well. Weather for the past two days have been cooler. Cloudy days are great for visiting beaches. I can't leave RIO without at least getting my feet wet There is a food market at Gloria Sunday morning, bought some watermelon there on my way back from the beach. went to G Spa late afternoon at Ipanema. The place is small, a lot of people, not as hot as some reviewers commented. Interesting place, but the price tag (50 or 55) would block most youngsters. Mostly 40+. Once is enough for me. Tonight is my last night in RIO. It's a cooler day with high temp only 27c. Had a nice walk along flamengo beach again in the morning. Took a nap, heading to MM early today at 5. A lot of people already, perhaps I was too late arriving at 6 on previous visits. Both boys I had fun with previously were in house again. Then I noticed this guy Tomcal posted before, Jackson. He was leaving the last time I was here, or I would have gone with him. Those green eyes are so dreamy. Since Tomcal talked about him for years, he must be in his mid 20s now. His body is no longer twinkish, but the face is just too cute. And he speaks a little English too! We chatted a little while in the sauna and quickly head to a quarto. Pity they don't have mirrors in the room. The boy is wonderful in bed. He only asked for 80 like other boys, I gave him a tip in the end. A wonderful session to end the RIO leg of my trip. Hi, Epi, you lucky man. It was really nice meeting you two years ao in Rio. I went to the same restaurant we ate at gloria a couple days ago Hit 117 early at 5:15, it's not yet very busy. The place looks fresh with new paint. Most boys here are muscular type with pumped chest and chiseled abs. Epi would have a feast here, I think I sat close to the entrance to watch the boy parade and checking what's on the menu already. In the next hour or so, a dozen more boys came in, mostly the same type. About 3 times more clients came in during the same period. Traffic jam on the staircase. There are two cute boys my type came in. One didn't change, disappeared from the front desk area, perhaps he is not a working boy. His friend soon changed and came upstairs again. I like his face, college boy type, but he is a couple sizes too big for me from neck down. Still, I might go after him later. One boy I had a session with in São Paulo last year came in. He is one of the few slim boys tonight. Another half hour, not much else happened. Incoming clients still outnumber incoming boys 3 to one. Perhaps most boys came early on Saturdays, it's raining but not hard. It's almost 7, the boy I liked hooked up with a client. And he left immediately after that session. Between 7 and 8, there are only a few new boys came in, none triggers my fancy. Somehow I am not feeling very horny. So I decided to call it a night. As I check out and enter password for my credit card, a new boy walked in who is more of my type, oh well, not meant to be. I realized why 117 has not been my favorite from the beginning, I am actually turned off by pumped chest and six pack abs. It's slim boy next door type that I drool over especially one who can pass as a quiet student. Why I like São Paulo better. Two more nights in Rio. Perhaps the coming Monday night at MM will be more exciting.
